Count us in too!!! Nov 19-26 at CSR! So excited!

Thanksgiving exactly 7 years ago DH and I made our wish during 'Wishes' for us to have a child. We are tried for many years, on this trip we chose adoption. This Thanksgiving will mark our 5th Thanksgiving with our girls, as our DD 5 came home from Guatemala in Jan 07, then 9 months later I gave birth to our DD 3. We are truly blessed and wanted to spend this special holiday in the place that made our dreams come true! Sorry I got a little mushy!

We went this same week in 2009. The crowds were really great! We want a christmas themed trip this time otherwise we woukd have gone back then!

No, we purposely chose to go another night. My DH's birthday is a couple of days before halloween, so we decided to go that night. Halloween did sell out, but the weeknight party (DH's b-day) did not. We ended up going to DTD trick or treating (which I also don't recommend, it was an absolute madhouse). I would probably go to Fort Wilderness if we went on halloween again.

Joining in -- we're staying at POFQ from November 1 - November 8. Can't wait for our first trip as a family!

The last night of MNSSHP is the evening we arrive. Was considering getting tickets, but I'm not sure...My DS will be 7, and we will have been up since probably 5:30 that morning to catch our flight. Any thoughts from people who have been there before? Or am I better off hedging my bets and using the $$ we would spend on those tickets on something else?

My trip is scheduled for 11/15 thru 11/20. It's my 4th visit and I'm staying at the Boardwalk Inn for the first time. I usually do the Beach or Yacht Club.

HI Chrisvee... we will be neighbors at BWI for a day... we'll be there from 19th-24th staying Innkeepers Club... soooo excited!!! (also, i have friends in W. Chester... Dawn & Merle... know them? ya know, small world and all that jazz! )

This will be our first family November trip and we're hoping some of the Holiday decorations are up, esp Osborne Lights...

Our whole (extended) family will be at Disney Nov 19-26. This is our first time ever in Disney for a holiday. Tentatively we are planning for Thanksgiving dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe. Does anyone out there have any other good ideas for Thanksgiving? - places you've gone or are going. We're staying in Wilderness Lodge

The one place I've heard already is Liberty Tavern. My mom's requirements - a sit down dinner, traditional Thanksgiving food available.

Is it sick that we have all our dinner ideas planned out already?

if you are staying at WL i would strongly suggest Artist Point... they would likely be able to seat you all together (although i don't know how many your group is, but they are very accommodating) and the food is top notch... i am sure they will have traditional Thxgiving offerings on Thxgiving day...

another fun option would be WCC...

Fantastic, I had my first solo trip last year and loved it, so much so I'm returning November too (just miss you by a day).

We will be at the Poly CL in Sept but have decided to do MVMCP as a suprise in Nov for DD14 birthday! Havent booked it yet as Im looking for a PIN or Code..

I am pretty stoked. I've got my plane tickets booked now as well for a reasonable price. That was the final big piece of the puzzle for my trip. Both flights to and from Logan for times we were hoping for (late evening/afternoon on both trips) and they were non-stop and I got the fares for about $250 RT.

Now we can hit up the park on departure day and we get in to Orlando not super-late on arrival day.



Now I have about a month before worrying about making reservations for a table service meal or two.
