Smiley, I'm so happy your news was good. When will you start radiation?

I'll be there between the 25th November and the 7th of December. We're staying at the Carousel Inn but thinking about booking the first four days at the Grand, but we need two rooms and I'm praying for a pin or discount.

Just as soon as they think I'm healed up enough, anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I'll be having treatments for 4 weeks and I'll be having a CAT scan MRI and bone scan as well....I'll be even more ready for this holiday than I was for the last one!! But if all goes as planned .... I should have a month to recup before we get there! This last trip 3 weeks ago.... have we really been home for only 3 weeks?..... I was sooooo worn out from the chemo, there are so many things we didn't get to do. Our dates are nearly the same! Our anniversary is Dec. 6 so that will be something extra to celebrate
Oh and hubby would not let me ride California Screamin because he was too worried about me....I made sure to clear everything with my dr. already!! lol.... no way I'm missing it again!!

We are going November 5-10th!! Arriving on the 5th, which is my oldest daughter's birthday! We also have an 18 month old daughter (she will be 20 months when we go). SO excited, we have been quite a few times but it is the first trip for our girls!

It's almost time to make dining PSs - I'm not quite sure where we'll eat. Last year our Thanksgiving lunner *late lunch/early dinner* was a Mimi's *we stayed at HoJo's* this year we're at Stovall's - Coco's and Tiffy's are nearby, I wonder if they're any good... In the park meals... hmmm it's DH's 1st time - maybe just he and I could dine at Blue Bayou - the kids and grandma can fend for themselves I'd like to do a character meal for DD - we may not return b4 she turns 9 *she still eats like a bird and paying adult prices for her will hurt* - I'll ask her, I'm guessing she'll choose Minnie's or Ariel's.

My first trip to DL in ten-plus years... solo and staying at the Fairfield Nov 28-Dec 1. Missed the Mulholland coaster last time (stinkin' refurbs!).

If you see a guy running around with a GPS receiver in his hand, that will be me looking for some of the geocaches in the parks.

Also gonna try to sneak over to Knott's early on that Wed and ride their coasters... never been there at all. Can't wait!

Newbie here!

We are staying at GCH 11/20-23 with DH, DS5 and DD1. We will also meet up with friends who are going to be at GCH - another couple with young kids. We are super excited - first time for my kiddos! Already made PS requests since it will be a big group of 8 and the week of Thanksgiving through vacation planning...haven't heard back from them yet though!

Wow! Can everyone believe how close our trips are getting????

We are already down to 34 days! My DH keeps saying it is almost time to start packing. I think I have almost everything in order. About all I have left to do is to call and confirm the deal I got with Living Social for our airport transfer, transfer our Disney Rewards points, print out our dining plans, round up last minute coupons and do that packing.

I hope everyone is gearing up for some fantastic trips..... especially smiley_face2. I hope your trip this year is better than ever and all the health problems are behind you!
