Oh Boy! Just loved getting my thread notification reminding me that November is drawing ever closer! Of course, we have been counting down here at home too... can hardly believe we are down to just a little over 2 months! Almost time to make those dining reservations. Eeek! I need to get busy and make some decisions!

Thanks for the bump and update. I just noticed that my dates still say that they are not set. We do have our definite plans now. Dates are right, Nov 1-11. We will be the first 5 nights at Desert Inn and 7 nights at Dolphin's Cove. Not so crazy about switching mid trip but I guess it will be good for our first trial run at DC. Hope we like it. Then maybe we can stay there the whole trip next time. Going to love the extra space but we will have to get used to not just popping across the street from DI. We have stayed with them many times and the guys are already looking forward to stopping off at Cold Stone's everyday. I can't wait!!!

We are going to be at DL/DCA Novemember 5-10..park days 6-9th..using 4 day park hoppers, 2 adults, 2 kids...staying at Fairfield Inn thru a costco package!!!! SOOOOOOOO EXCITED CANT WAIT!!!!!!!! been 3 yrs this december from our last trip....bring on the magic!!!!!!

I had to cancel my trip in November. I am getting layed off from my job, and looking for a new job, so too much uncertainty to be planning a trip. I am really bummed because I was able to pay for my airfare and park tickets with my Airmiles points. You never know, miracles happen, maybe I will be able to pull it off anyways.

Disneyanajc....thankyou for doing this! I should have gotten to it sooner. we got back from our trip a little over a week ago, and it's been crazy ever since! I was supposed to begin the radiation part of my treatment today, but they ended up doing a biopsy because they have found something else, so that was very upsetting. I'm hoping the news is good tomorrow. At any rate, I'll get to it and update the main post now, I feel so bad for not having had the time to do it..... We did have a very good trip, exactly what I needed to get some energy both mental and physical to face the rest of my treatment!

updated! news was not good I'm afraid. Very disapointing to say the least. Will keep planning our trip for November though! getting surgery again next week

I booked $99 each way ($305 total w/taxes etc.) this morning but that fare may be gone already Alaskaair and Continental seemed to be matching it on Expedia though.

Sad to hear your news. Will continue to pray for you

November 3 -6 (will be for DD's 7th b-day, which is on the 3rd) at either Quality Inn on Manchester or Desert Inn and Suites. I currently have both booked, but will cancel one. It will be Desert Inn if my parents go with and Quality Inn if they don't. My mom was ill for our May trip, and will be having surgery on 9/22. We'll see how she recovers and may be able to talk them into joining us!

Thanks all for the good wishes, surgery went very well! Oncologist and this surgeon both say this reoccurance was a surgical failure from the last time, not a new cancer so that is very very good news!
Can not wait to be in Disneyland and use up my sugar ration on gingerbread men....lol.... my absolute favorite holiday treat..... oh and the snowmen shortbread cookies too...... and I sure do wish they could do the Holiday Mocha's and lattes sugar free!! I think maybe it's time to start inserting a few holiday pictures for inspiration!

I'll be there between the 25th November and the 7th of December. We're staying at the Carousel Inn but thinking about booking the first four days at the Grand, but we need two rooms and I'm praying for a pin or discount.
