I so want that code!!! I called again last night and nothing! Glad for you...but want to join the fun then!!!

Okay... I called again today... and the CM I talked to said they no longer can look up your pin codes by your name only? You just have to watch your email and for postcards, and call with the actual pin. She did say they have a lot of people who call with a "pin" and it applies to their friend, neighbor, etc. and that they don't understand that they are specific to that address. She said she could look up if any general codes or offers apply to your dates. Alas, nothing yet. I did get a pin code last year for this same week, but couldn't use it since it didn't apply to our land/sea package.

Anyone else hear this same story from CMs at reservations?

I'm also from Canada and I just happen to call Disney and asked about a pin being attached to my name and I had one for 40% off for my dates which are Nov 30th to December 11th.

It might be worth a call to Disney to see.....You just never know!!!!! Good luck!!!!

Which # did you call and how exactly did you ask for this info? I called and asked but they said they had no info, that only Marketing would have it. I did receive a pin code for $500 GC that we can't use, so if they can't see that on my file, what are they looking at?

I called the Disney travel number I will have to get back to you with the number but it's the main number if that helps.

When the lady finished her speech with the "Thanks for calling Disney" I noticed she was in a great mood and I tried to keep her in that mood to want to be able to help me. Not sure if that help me or not but I gave it a chance. I then asked her that I was looking to go to Disney and I gave her my date of travel and that I was looking for a pin code that might be attached to my name to help off set the cost.

She said that she would take a look under our house. She put me on hold for about 2 minutes the came back and told me to verify my name, address along with mu hubby and 3 girls.

After that she told me that she has the 40% off code for me to use and asked if I wanted to use the code today. I told her that I did; and I put my deposit of $200.00 down right away.

I ended up getting Nov 30th to December 11th with Dining plan, tickets and POP for $3200.00 for the 5 of us. That works out to $58.00 each a day we are paying; or $290.00 per day for the family. How ever you look at it....I saved money which is good.

I would still love to have the free dining instead but I'm NOT holding my breath for that time frame.

Hope some of this info helped. BTW- I've NEVER had a pin attached to my name for the past 5 years till now and it's sucked. Esecially when last year knowing that free dining was out but I couldn't get it becasue us Canadians can't apply for a Disney VISA.

Overall I hope you find the discount or code that is needed. Keep me posted.

This is exactly what I did today, and was told they can't look up the pin anymore. Very frustrating! I too called the main travel number. My CM was in a good mood too- I've had grumpy the last time I called- not that it helped. She was happy to quote me on the villas at Bay Lake Tower, and a studio room at AKV. That tells me she's trying to upsell the higher end rooms, no?

Hoping to go again in November! We'll be on the Magic from 11/7-11/14/09, so either the week before or the week after. The week before is Jersey Week... we were there this week in 08, and didn't find it to be tooo crowded. The weather was fabulous!

Looking for a pin or a code to make this affordable! Honestly I wasn't thinking I could afford another parks/cruise combo like I did this year... but with the 7/4 deal out now I am hoping there will be something similar this November. Hey, if I'm already flying all the way to Florida... Not sure where I'll stay this time around, though... POR is most likely, but if there's a good code I'd up it to AKL.

We will be on the same cruise with ya. And I am looking for a day or two after the cruise Nov 14-15. I am so excited I can't stand the wait.

I called disney and the Cm took my name and info to look up the code. So not sure why the other Cm did not want to. I guess they get frustrated with people calling just for that. Dont flame me I am just guessing. But I did not have a pin code either.

We're looking to go right after Thanksgiving! Probably 11/29 - 12/3. We hope to book a 3 day cruise on 12/3. Can't do it yet because we have a bounceback offer that isn't open to booking until 4/6, so I'm not sure of our dates yet. There is nothing much out besides the emailed PINs right? I was told on the phone they won't come out until 3 months before the month going. So... August? I thought they came out before that last year.

a few people in this thread have already received 40% off pin codes for nov 09.. so the three month before thing is bogus.
