November 2009 Code Watch

We got the 5/2 pin code + gift card and applied it to our Thanksgiving week ressie at CBR.:woohoo: I'll still be looking out for 4/3 to be extended through fall...

Personal pin codes people receive in the mail or email are the only things out right now for Nov. We're expecting public, annual pass holder, and visa codes in August.

Just joining this thread.........are any Nov codes out yet?

So does this mean that if say, free dining has been issued to some people via pin code for a specific period, that it will automatically be offered to the general public at some point? (Please say yes!).

Has anyone ever heard of free dining being offered to the general public for the first 2 weeks of November?

No and no. :sad2:

You can hope for another Disney Visa free dining deal. That's what they had for some dates in November last year. Though I guess that
means you have to sign up for a credit card if you don't already have one.

edit) Hmm, I failed to notice that you were in Australia, I don't even know if that's an option for you.

We had the Disney Visa free dining last year for the second week of November.

IF Disney offers FD again this November through Visa or otherwise - I will jump on it immediately!! In 2008, we did the FD Visa offer and celebrated my hubby's November birthday. The last 3 yrs we had enjoyed May trips. How exciting to see Disney decorations for Christmas. The crowds light compared to May - and walking endurance was increased by cooler temps. I think we were there Nove 15-19th.

I'm 99.9999999999999999% sure that we don't qualify for a Disney Visa card from down here. :sad2:

I just tried to register my birthday on the WDW website in case that might put a foot in the door in terms of getting a pin code but it won't let me register from outside the US. :confused3:mad:

How hard is it to get free food?, lol.:lmao:

Well, make sure you created an account on the WDW web site and signed up to receive promotional emails. Do you know if they will send you the free WDW DVD? I've heard that that is another way to have them send you promotions in the mail.

Good luck! We'll see what August brings in terms of general public codes.

The WDW site won't allow Australians to order the DVD (anyone would think they don't want visitors from Down Under), but thankfully the DL site has an Aust/NZ section that I was able to order it through.

Actually, come to think of it, I've ordered the DVD 4 times using my home adddress, postal address, work address and DH's work address, with a different email address and family member's name for each, but only 2 of them have arrived. (So long as our details are in the system for all those accounts I don't care if we don't get the DVD as it's not very good anyway).

I was able to create an account on the WDW site and we have booked a trip through with a Disney affiliated TA, so who knows, maybe something good will come our way (with the exchange rate as it is, I certainly hope so!).

In the meantime, I await August with anticipation...

Lucky enough to get 2 pin codes, one to my work address and one to my personal email....long story short used one of them for our 11 night trip starting at the end of Nov....without the code we were looking at around $14,700 for 6 adults 2 children and 1 infant at SSR (two bedroom villa) with deluxe dining and 10 day park hoppers....with the code thats down too $11,640...not sure I can do much better than that but will keep an eye out...

We will be arriving the night before however and the resort only res is setting us back $730 for that night...so will be looking out for a resort only code to hopefully bring this down....

just wondering do you have to sign up online to get emails about the pin codes
or do you have to have disney visa
i am new to this
i am booked for nov 28 - dec 2
thanks

Start an account on Disneys homepage, order the DVD every year, price out a vacation and save it in your account on disneys homepage. Nobody really knows how they distribut pin codes. We started in 2005 and recieved our first pin code last month.

I got this PIN via my email today as well. I called as we are staying at FW in a cabin, and the codes say value or deluxe. The CM told me there is a code for moderates also - but it wasn't on my email.

Anyhow - I was able to use it! So we saved $ on our November vacation to Fort Wilderness. .. and we get a $150 gift card.

It's not as great as the 4 / 3 deal for the summer. . .but I'm happy.

I stayed in the Ft Wilderness cabins last November, and it was amazing. Once we stayed there, we just cannot go back to regular hotel rooms again.
The cabins and scenery were amazing.

Last year I got in on an amazing discount for select weeks in November. We got the Fort Wilderness cabins for $194 a night.

I am looking for a similar deal again, as we are dying to go back. So, if anyone has any insight on if this deal will be offered again this November, please let me know!!

Thanks!!

We were planning on staying at Pop 12/4 - 12/6, but Pop Warner is going to be there at that time. I think we're going to change it to either the weekend of 11/14 or 11/21. I'm hoping to find a FL rate. Is there a different thread for FL rates?

Just thought I'd let you all know that I just got a pin code for AP holders for November. It was for 40% off. I used it for a MKV at the GF. The Cm said it applied to all resorts.... so keep your eyes open.... maybe something will be coming your way before too long!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
