November 2009 Code Watch

Just thought I'd let you all know that I just got a pin code for AP holders for November. It was for 40% off. I used it for a MKV at the GF. The Cm said it applied to all resorts.... so keep your eyes open.... maybe something will be coming your way before too long!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

:thumbsup2 Cool!

So does it look like it was just sent to AP holders?

Unfortunately.... I think this particular code was sent to AP holders only, but usually something follows for non AP holders soon afterwards.

I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed. I've been waiting for something! :goodvibes

Well, I got something in the mail the other day, the free dining offer that I thought they made public? But it was for Summer time and I'm not going till November. I'll be in DW from the 21st to the leaving on the 27th. We'll be going on the Disney Magic double dip cruise before then. Anyways, the thing I got in the mail was for free dining if you purchase the stay/tickets package. Came with a 3 letter code. I just signed up for the DVDs and all the other junk a few weeks ago so it didn't take long to get an offer. Hopefully I'll get a Disney Hotel offer that's actually usable during Thanksgiving week.

I got a pin today for free dining for the following dates:

For stays most nights 8/23/09-10/1/09 and 11/29/09-12/17/09...which is strange because we had free dining last year earlier in November. Do you think something else will be released for early November? I guess it really isn't an issue...we can adjust to early December. ;)

We have gone twice at Thanksgiving with a good promo and hope to see another this year!:cool1:

If you don't mind me asking....what promo did you get at Thanksgiving? We're going tues-sun, thanksgiving week 2009 and have aaa rate right now. I got the 40% off pin code but of course that week is blocked. Just hoping to get a little better of a rate.

What kind of discount does AAA offer for rooms on Disney property? My family already has tickets so we really just need a room deal. Is it worth signing up for AAA to get the discount?

In '06 we got the package promotion that was offered to everyone, but it was a good deal. It was the equivilent of paying rack for the room and the tix and getting the meal plan for $11 per adult per day. So I guess that was about a $27 per person per day discount. It was a very good choice for us because we were with a big family group and our dinners alone would have been atleast $600 each night otherwise. Plus we had the snacks and counter service meals too.
The next year, we took advantage of a similar package, even though it was just my family. We again did pretty well on the package because teenagers eat alot!!:)

Now that they have changed the meal plan (no appetizer or tips), I am not sure that it would be worth it except that we will again be going with a large group and it really, really makes the dining experience much easier.

I received a pin for free dining for these dates but it also included 10/2-11/24. We are going on 11/9 so I hope it can be applied to my reservation. I received the same email in 2 separate email addy's and this is also the second code I received, the 1st one was for free child but since ds is 10 it only saved us a few hundred dollars. Hoping this to be more:banana::banana::banana:

Hmmmm. That is weird. I wonder why ours didn't include 10/2-11/24. I double checked just to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Mine showed goofy with a stack of plates and said "A delicious Disney deal no matter how you stack it"

Yes, it's worth the AAA discount! I saved close to $200 on a 1 week trip during Thanksgiving week. We had to pay $65 for a one person membership, but it's still a good deal. Plus, now we have some extra AAA perks.

Don't know why that posted twice..sorry about that! I got a Free Dining Code for most dates through November 24th today via email. I'm checking in on the 22nd, so I'm hoping they'll let us use if for our 7 day trip. Only concern now is if AAA can figure out how to rebook using the pin...oh well, wish me luck!:wizard:
