My discount last Noveber (Poly, GV room) came out to 30% off the room...this was a general code I found out about on the DIS and booked in mid to late September.

Do you remember when the code came out and did they offer it to VISA cardholders first?

No, free dining is always in late August - September. Actually, I believe the first year or two it went into early October, but definitely not November.

I booked the day the AP code came out last year and my notes say August 15. I'm not sure about the VISA code.

Okay, I know I have seen this, and I am sure you are tired of hearing it, but when exactly is Jersey week? Does anyone know what the dates are--not that we don't love Jersey people(Actually have some cousins up there!!), but am aiming for lower crowds-we are flexible and my hubby just told me-Let's do November!! Could ya'll help me out? I know T-week is gonna be packed, so I was looking at the 15th-22nd or so. Is that a pretty low crowd week, or would the 9th -16th be better?

I really want to get some ressies made tonight or tomorrow. Also, when do they start putting up the decor? I thought someone said on the 10th, but does that sound a little early?

NJ schools have off on the Tues 11/4, Thurs & Fri 11/6-7, and Mon 11/10. The holiday decorations seem to go up for 11/10 - that's when the holiday versions of parades & Very Merry Christmas parties begin.

Thanks to Midwest cancelling our flights, we will now be in Disney a day earlier (Nov. 9-15).

Come on Disney, I need a great code to make up for the extra $400 I just shelled out to add another night onto our ressie! (had to, it was the only way to get new flights on a different airline without losing a full day and a half of Disney time)

According to Mousesavers, the AP room only code was released on August 15 for stays from Sept. 30 - Dec. 23, so YES! Of course, there is probably limited availability, depending on which resort you want, so I'd definitely call the day they come out.

I've never used a Disney Visa code, but I would think that any Disney Visa cardholder could use it, so keep checking here!

(I was wondering why I've never used a D. Visa code, and looking at Mousesavers I realized that they all seem to be for packages, and we always get room only - don't know if that makes a difference to anybody here though?)

Is it worth me applying for a Disney Visa right now. I was thinking that I could use it to pay off my balance of my trip. We have the cash sitting in our bank account waiting for a code...lol...but I was thinking if I used the Visa to pay off the balance and then paid it off with the cash...I could earn the Disney Reward Points/Dollars...and also be a visa holder for the credit card code. Any thoughts or should I not open a credit card account for this at all? Is it worth the effort?
