NOVEMBER 2008 Code Watch...

is Jersey Week really as crowded as everyone says? I was there a few years ago and it wasn't bad at all. My friend just went this year and she said the parks weren't bad. Just wondering because my family is planning for November 2008 on Jersey Weeek, so the 1st to the 8th. Thanks for the help.

Mine did. I went 11/16-11/22 (Fri-Thu) and saved $339 on a value-just had to switch from Pop to Sports. I could have gone up to a moderate for about $2 more than I originally paid for Pop, but decided to save the money instead.

Just out of curiosity...what were the November discounts they offered this year? I don't need the code....just curious as to what and if they offered any goodies so I can get my hopes up ahead of time. :rolleyes1

We are also planning on going that week. Hope it's not going to be too crowded! Anyone have any experience with Jersey Week?

My post was right above yours. With the package w/ dining codes I saved $339 for a 6 night trip with 1 adult 2 kids on a value. The moderate price was like $2 more than the values. I debated moving up to a moderate, but took the refund instead. The deluxe rates were good, but I don't have any numbers for you.

We went this year during "Jersey Week" and did not have any problems at all. In fact there seemed to be alot of people walking around sometimes but the wait times for rides weren't too bad. The only big wait times were at Epcot which I believe they always have big wait times. So I say dont worry about it and have a good time!

Being from Jersey, we've been down a number of times during Jersey Week and it's not too bad. Epcot does get crowded because you also have the Food and Wine Festival and then DTD has the Festival of Masters ( I think that's wat the call it. We usualy try to do all of the parks early in the week and when it gets a little busier later in the week we go to the water park or just adjust our schedules around the crowds.

Since this year we are going down in December I'm hoping there might be a bounceback available for November.

Nice savings :thumbsup2 Thanks for the info. It's great that you can use a code after booking and also have the option of bumping up. I'm like you though. I would have taken the refund as well. I'm booking in the resort we actually want to stay at.

I'm booked for Nov 25 through December 2 I'm desperately hoping for a code so that I can keep my MK Tower View room at the Contemporary (my original plan was to split our stay to save money, but I went ahead and booked the entire thing in an MK view room).

I just booked our Disneymoon for November 15-22 at CSR.

I hope a code comes out so we can save some money!!

I'm hoping to get in another trip next November. Here's hoping for a very good code.

DH and myself are planning to be in WDW 11/30/08-12/05/08. We were supposed to go THIS past November, however I somehow managed to get mono, and just wasn't up for it. Now of course, I feel much better and wish we would have gone! :rolleyes1 Anyway, I haven't made any reservations yet...but am thinking about renting DVC points to stay at OKW or BWV. If that doesn't work I suppose I'll wait around until the Disney Visa deals are announced...which will be a long wait. In the meantime, I guess I should find a part time job. :lmao:

I am also trying to plan a trip in November for my husband and two boys - none of which have been before. I went several times growing up, but always stayed offsite. I would love to stay on-site, and would love to hear input not only on codes, but suggestion on where to stay. I know the deluxe look great, but don't know that I want to spend that kind of money when you are not in the room that much.

Thanks!!!:cheer2:

We have always stayed at the economy resorts. I love them. Right for the money and very nicely themed. My family is planning to go November 8-15 next year and stay at the All Star Movies. This time we'll get 2 rooms since the DD's are bringing their boyfriends. The boyfriends get their own room. :thumbsup2

I can't imagine not staying on site. Especially since we have teenagers that may want to stay out later or go to DTD on a night that DH & I want to turn in early. The bus system is easy to navigate although not always the quickest way to get to the park.

Read through the boards and you'll find a pound of information and get to know some very sweet people. :hippie:
