Hi all. I called to check on an ADR for my family on 11/24 and while I was on the phone I thought I would ask about the availability for any of the EPCOT restaurants on Thanksgiving 11/27:

She had Nine Dragons available for lunch at 12N and dinner at 8PM Also Marrakesh at 12:20PM and 8:20PM; Coral Reef at 8:20PM; and Teppan Edo at 8:10PM (asked about a party of 5)..

The CM was surprised at the availability.

Wanted to warn you... We had a Chef Mickey swap where the original party gave us the ressie number and last name.

We went to CMs, I gave the other party's last name and the hostess asked me for the first name because the last name was a common one.

I turned beat red and explained how I got the ressie from someone on the Dis... I forgot to take the ressie number with me.

Luckily we got to CMs at 7:45 am and they were able to take us as a walk in.

So remember your ressie number if you swapped and get the first name too just in case!!!

I have a Candlelight Processional Package @ San Angel Inn that I'm planning to cancel. I thought I'd see if anyone here needs it 1st. I'll wait a couple days. It's at 5pm for the 8:15 show on 11/29. We are a party of 3.

I'm still hoping for Tutto Italia, Les Chefs de France, Le Cellier, or Coral Reef on the same date & time & also for 3 people.

I was actually chatting with a CM on the WDW-DINE line about this. He said when people trade ADRs they usually say they're giving it to their sister or brother and switch the name and phone number. It's the easiest excuse to use.

I would think for both parties, having switched all the detailed info would be most convenient. I wouldn't feel comfortable checking in under someone else's name.

Telling a small white lie on the phone is just easier

I gave away a Le Cellier ADR to a DISer last month. I gave her 1st & last name & ADR #. I'm assuming they didn't have any problems, because I never heard back from them. If there's no CC info involved, I think this is probably the easiest way to do it. I didn't have to take the time to call & change anything. Calling WDW dining for my own ADRs is bad enough.
