November 2007 Code Watch

I can't take this waiting, especially when I'm not sure what resorts will be available Nov.2 - Nov.10 with the discount.

I tried with no luck. Nov. 3-7 no deluxe resorts at all. I have AAA for BWI so I'm keeping that. CBR & POR were available though.
CM did say to try back this afternoon. That maybe the computer needed to catch up, but from I saw yesterday this time frame was very limited. PGA Golf just ending, then SS weekend right after that.

I called today and pretended I had a Disney Visa (:rolleyes1 ) to check for anything for Nov. 8-17 for a family of 5. We are at POR on the 7th and the Polynesian 8-17 for now. Nothing was available in deluxe but for the 8th to 17th atRiverside, 10 day hopper passes with dinning I was quoted 3656.63, and when I checked before the price was $4188.03.

I will have my AAA check again tomorrow.

I booked our travel through Small World Vacations. My travel agent is on vacation this week but is still checking her e-mails. I asked her about the discounts and she said she would look into getting our group discounts (3 families in 3 separate rooms) for November 2 - 9.

My question is this.... should I try to get the discount or let my travel agent work on it? Would it be a good idea if both of us do it?

I'm sure I am not the only reservation that she has and I'm not sure if I will be better off on doing it myself (I have all of our reservation numbers).

If the FL resident discount is out (haven't heard yet) and it's the same discount as the gen. public one for tomorrow . . .

Maybe I can have my father book it since my parents live in Florida. We have the same name (except I'm Jr.). I wouldn't have to wait for the gen. public rush tomorrow morning.

Anybody have any thoughts about trying this? I'll do anything to try and make this trip a little more affordable.

Anytime we've booked a Florida resident rate, each adult member of our party has had to present Florida ID upon check-in. So I doubt your idea would work.

I'm anxiously awaiting a November code as well for our upcoming trip. Will be up bright and early tomorrow. Good luck! :)

From the email that some Disney Visa holders received, it appears that it will be package, identical to the Disney Visa deal.

I hope so. I want a package discount. Most people were saying it was about 20% - I think??

From what I have read on prior posts :confused3 room only codes come out several days or weeks later ...

Let's hope for some good availability still left for "Jersey Week"

Nov.2 - Nov.10th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

Me too, I need a Fl. Resident Code, not an AP!:guilty:

Does anyone have the number to call @ Disney? I did all of my reservations through Small World Travel.

Thanks for your help.

As someone else said, your TA will have to do any changes for you. When I told them I booked through a TA, they wouldn't even give me any rates or anything.
