november 2006 trip

Hi everyone me and my gfriend have been disney a couple of times before but this year we are taking her youngest brother who is 11. We have booked to go in novemebr is this a good time to go? As we havent took a child before has anyone got any tips for me. will they get dehydrated easily will it be really sunny etc etc. We are staying in international drive at the rodeway inn has anyone been to this hotel before it seems nice enough. Has any new restaurants opeoned on int drive in the last year or so, i remember the old olive garden still hadnt turned into anything last i was over has this changed yet. Will all the rides be open going in november we will be doing all the parks and maybe busch gardens if we get the time. Cant wait to see his face 1st time he has been on a far away holiday hoping he wont miss his parents to much but at disney and universal im sure he will be fine. Also is the character meal at universial good does spidey and others go as they are who he is in to at the min. If not what is the best breakfast meeting with the characters and what restaurant thanx. Thanks again for anyone who can help
