coming in November 4 through November 11. We will be staying DVC for most of the week but need a room for the Saturday night arrival. Too many points so I'm hoping for an AP rate for that night.

Have VWL 1 bdrm booked now but on the waitlist for Boardwalk 2 bdrm.

We will be at POFQ the same week.

Room-only discounts *are* often available during this time frame.

I went to WDW starting the day after Thanksgiving in 2003 using plain old AP discount rates. There were also AP and FL resident codes (and also general public) room-only codes for check-ins 9/30-12/24/04 and for 10/5-12/19/05. Going Thanksgiving Day through December 3rd. Have a great, great rate at the YC through our wonderful travel agent but am hedging to possibly go to the Poly Concierge as that rate is pretty tempting, also. I am signing up to see if anything better comes out but if it is like last year ... couldn't beat the rate I got at the AKL Concierge -- almost same price as I was getting AAA rate at the Savannah view without concierge -- and even cheaper than the AP rate last year. But, it never hurts to keep my eyes open, though.

-If I already booked our package and a deal comes out, can I take advantage of that deal? Or Am I out of luck?

Most packages allow you to cancel up to 45 days out without a penalty but you should check when you make the ressie. If you book directly with Disney and you call they will typically change it for you ... as is the same with a travel agent.

You don't subscribe to a thread. You just keep checking back here on the resorts boards and at Mary's site www.mousesavers.com. She usually has an inkling when codes are about to be released. Good luck!

We did the 4 nights for the price of 7 in September 2003. The free days did not include park tickets; it just included the room.

Well count me in on this list... My husband and his mom, sister and BIL are all headed right now off to Coronado Springs (two rooms) for Nov 23-28th. Really excited, but would love to see some discounts. Right now we just have AAA. We are hoping for either AP (which we have) or Florida Resident Rate (sister)
