November 2006 Code/Rate Watch

Just subscribing to this thread - we are thinking of 11/2 - 11/7. We are deciding on whether to revisit Disney or try Universal this time....

We'll be there from Nov. 15th to Nov. 21st. and are hoping for some AP or FL resident rates. Something tells me that AAA might be the best we get this year for that time. We bought our AP's after hearing that AP holders were constantly getting discounts. We have not been able to take advantage of any AP discounts so far this year(and we're hearing lots of complaints about AP rates). It seems they all come out in times I don't want to travel(hurricane season). Oh well. Our seasonal AP's cost less than a five day park hopper anyways; so we saved a bit of $$ from the get go. *keeps fingers crossed*

We are going Nov 15 - 19 staying at GF. Hoping for an AP discount? Absoultely! But not getting my heart set on it. Its DH birthday and this is where he wants to stay!

I had originally wanted to try to go the week before christmas, but work and school schedules make Thanksgiving week a better option.
I'm hoping for a code that is such a great deal, even DW will be convinced that we should go. It's not that she doesn't like WDW, it's just that we recently bought a new house and we've spent a lot of money on furniture and other house stuff.

She has this silly idea that we shouldn't spend money we don't have on a vacation.
But I'm trying to convince her that it would be better to go now since our youngest will turn 3 next March and we'll then be an official family of 6.

Oh Mill4023...MARRY ME!!!!! It sounds like you and I have the same philosophy...GO TO DISNEY NO MATTER THE COST! We would never have a cent to our name, but we'd have PLENTY of Disney vacations under our belt!

We have booked our flights on Northwest and our room at CBR for our FIRST EVER trip to Disney without the children ... Its our wedding ann. gift to ourselves (14 wonderfull years.)
We will be going down to the world Nov. 9-15 and we already have our MVMCP tickets for Monday Nov. 13th..
We will be going no matter what but a money saving code would be really nice. If a code comes out we might just upgrade to a deluxe, perhaps WL or the Poly if the codes were good enough (pixie dust for everyone.)

If the codes come out traditionally the end of August does anyone remember what they where last year for November??? What is something like 25 off a value, 50 off a monderate and 75 off a deluxe. Thanks for any information.

The codes came out the end of September last year. I don't know what the nightly differance was but I saved $250 on a value for 7 nights.
