HEY!!! Those Oct. 5th cruisers are already on their second thread!!!

Are we going to let them out-post us?!

i was looking at their threads..seems they started a new one for just a roll call and FE info..They actually have less posts and pages than we do..

Sorry... Plenty of us cruisers will be updating here on our trips, so that should help pass the time :)

I don't think that will be a problem :p

I'm planning on posting while we're away. I'll try to post some pics too. :thumbsup2

Yay!!!! :yay:

So...you've pretty much sold me on the Residence Inn if DH insists we drive. We would use their park&cruise package and leave the car with them.

I looked at it on Google Maps and it looks like there's a Hertz rental office next door - if we were to fly in but spend the night at the port would Hertz be the most logical place to rent a car, simply because drop-off would be so easy? Or should we just shop for price? I imagine you can throw a rock from one car rental place to the next one since it's such a popular destination...

Also, it appears the Residence Inn books no more than a year in advance; with so many cruisers wanting to arrive the day before we sail, should I book that room and parking package ASAP?

We looked at Hertz too because of the convenience but the price was waaaaaay too high compared to Avis and Budget. We use Avis now because Budget messed with our final bill twice now and it was too much of a hassle trying to duke it out with them. Avis has been good to us and there's a gas station right next door to them for the final fill-up.

We're still unsure what we'll be doing the night before the cruise but I will also be booking my room(s) as soon as I can. I figure we can always cancel if we change our minds and stay on the grounds instead. On one of our cruises someone got us a group rate at the Radisson and many booked there. I was in that group but then moved my ressie to the Residence Inn because the Radisson had a breach in their credit card system and my Disney Visa was affected. I had to cancel my card and get a new one right before the cruise. The new number messed up a refund I had coming from Caribbean Beach Resort after the cruise and I missed out on it. :furious::furious:I was too sick to argue with them about it. This cruiser ended up with the Swine Flu that day.:sick::sick:

okay... Mental note: don't shake hands with Rob. Don't shake hands with Nancy LOL!

LOL...I brought home the Swine Flu and my DS and DIL brought home "A little souvenir" born exactly 9 months later! ;):cloud9:

Will there be live updates here for those you're leaving behind?... :)

there you go..Robin would have to do that because i have NO CLUE how to make pictures from the phone magically appear elsewhere..It took me forever to figure out how to get pics to photobucket so i could post them here..(underdogs a little behind the times in the tech dept.):teacher::scared:
