*sigh* Thanks for the photos, Mike! That's just what I needed this morning!

... But for the record, I've read your TR's and I've seen poor Robin schlepping that luggage by herself!!

Maybe this photo was taken before you got that scar...

I just read a thread on the cruise forum with beautiful photos of the Palo brunch.

As I recall, we are allowed to book one brunch and one dinner at Palo, assuming availability, of course. But can you buddy up with friends and book a table for both parties so we can go one day on my reservation and a second time on yours?

Or do they ask the names of everyone in your party so they'll know you're double-dipping?

We booked on-board during our last cruise in 2008, but due to the unforseen pregnancy and birth of our daughter in 2009 we kept pushing out the reservation. We wanted to wait until she was old enough for Oceaneer Club activities. We are booked on this one, and it looks like it is going to happen! We will have a four year old girl, and a ten year old boy with us. We can't wait to see the new ship.

I PM'd you...

Thanks! :cool1: And for the record, I am pretty sure you are allowed to post that link publicly :thumbsup2

If something is banned from the DIS, it will show up as xxx.xxxxx.xxxx and that site shows up just fine ;)

I thought you were talking about the other site :rolleyes1

So...you've pretty much sold me on the Residence Inn if DH insists we drive. We would use their park&cruise package and leave the car with them.

I looked at it on Google Maps and it looks like there's a Hertz rental office next door - if we were to fly in but spend the night at the port would Hertz be the most logical place to rent a car, simply because drop-off would be so easy? Or should we just shop for price? I imagine you can throw a rock from one car rental place to the next one since it's such a popular destination...

Also, it appears the Residence Inn books no more than a year in advance; with so many cruisers wanting to arrive the day before we sail, should I book that room and parking package ASAP?

Like Nancy said, Hertz is often VERY expensive compared to the other two. I would say book it when you can and you can always change or cancel it later :thumbsup2

We like Budget because Avis is so much further down :rolleyes:

Can't wait to see pics and hear about your fun times buddy.
:wizard::wizard: Diane

Yeah, what Di said :cool1:

Wooohooooo!! :yay::thumbsup2

That was the night you taught my daughter to blow kisses :love:

They keep track of the names so they know BUT you can always check on-board if you can make a second reservation. They need to wait until everyone has a chance to book it once and then they will offer you a chance for a second reservation if they still have availability (which I bet they will!) :thumbsup2

:welcome:

Your kids are going to LOVE the new kids clubs!! They are just amazing!!! :goodvibes

Well-I'm caught up on all the news, though I think I need to dig through this again and check the list. I may have a couple of names to add/alter. You guys are having too much fun. If I were to show Bob this thread, don't know what would happen. Maybe I will... we're 48 days away from our longgggg weekend at Saratoga Springs. We've never stayed there, so I'm sorta looking forward to it. Would prefer Boardwalk. What can I say? I want to be closer to the food and the wine!!!!

I'll have to look up all those TR's. Find out what we've been missing....

Welome aboard! :sail:

i see on your "list of travels" you cruised on the Oct 20th 2007 Magic cruise..A bunch of us were on that cruise as well.:thumbsup2 I'm sure you probably saw us around without even realizing it! We called our group the Konked kruisers".

WOW, I haven't been on this thread in months! We just got off the Magic 8 night cruise yesterday:sad1::sad2: I figured jumping into planning my Nov 2, 2013 would help with the withdrawals. We also booked a dummy date which I hope to move to 2014. Our head waiter said that the 2014 itinerary should come out in Oct. They are looking at various options so we will see.

We are also from Jersey - We are:
Fatima (Me), Kenny (DH) and Amaya (7) - 4th DCL cruise

Welcome everyone! :wave2: :cheer2:

We're preparing for our trip. I'll be doing the online check-in tomorrow...10 days out!!! :dance3:

I've got everything set up on my Iphone so I can post pics on the boards while we're gone. :thumbsup2

We'll try not to bore you too much! ;)
