We could see it no problem from Hollywood Studios. It was amazing. You could even see it separate.

This was from February 7th last year. I took this picture in the parking lot of the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. It disappeared into the clouds very soon after this shot.

Pad Preps Continue; Crew Returns to JSC

Launch Pad 39A technicians at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida will install the cargo for the STS-129 mission into space shuttle Atlantis' payload bay today.

The payload consists of Express Logistics Carrier 1 and 2, holding about 28,000 pounds of supplies and spare parts for the International Space Station.

Workers also will attach the orbiter midbody umbilical unit from the pad's rotating service structure to the shuttle today. The unit provides access to and permits servicing of Atlantis' mid-fuselage area. Liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen for the fuel cells and gases, such as nitrogen and helium, are provided through the unit.

The six Atlantis astronauts returned to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston yesterday after completing the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test, or TCDT, training. They'll conduct final launch preparations at Johnson before flying back to Kennedy for the anticipated launch to the space station at 2:28 p.m. EST on Nov. 16.

Okay....so I couldnt wait!!! My sister stopped over today and I HAD to tell her about the FE and show her all of the goodies!!! I was going to try to surprise her with it on the cruise, but OH WELL!!! I have a VERY HARD TIME keeping "happy secrets"!!! She is really excited about everything too!!!

I have all my FE bags ready to go. I just have to get the box off to the post office tomorrow. I am going to send it to POP so its one less thing I have to worry about carrying on the plane. Now I just have to start packing and soon enough we will be on our way to WDW

Tell me about it, I have the same problem I invited my sister-in-law to join us on this cruise as a surprise for my husband (her brother). She's never been on a cruise and never been to WDW. Her DH is going to a conference in a hotel at Downtown Disney while we're vacationing at WDW, so we decided to surprise my DH and she's going to meet up with us at Epcot while her husband is at the conference. It's been soooo hard keeping this a secret.

She had to get a passport but didn't have a birth certificate so that took extra time. I created a "secret" Yahoo email account so I could correspond with her about the trip. Hopefully, DH hasn't figured it out. I keep almost mentioning something about the cruise and have to bite my tongue. I think he'll be happily surprised when his sister shows up unexpectedly.

Sorry the FE exchange is closed. We are almost a week from sailing and many of us are done buying FE gifts. I have mine already on their way to the resort. You can still possibly join the magnet exchange.

Hiya Everyone!
I am sitting her typing to avoid packing lol! Last cruise I packed 3 weeks in advance but I can't bring myself to do it this time lol! My DH works 3rd all this week and whenever he's away I can't sleep so I envision packing at 3 am when my insomnia kicks in lol!

I sent of the FE gifts to Pop yesterday. It cost me $18.00 to send! When my Dh came back from the post office yesterday I couldn't believe it
It would take up so much space in our luggage so I am thankful we sent it early. Just hope it's there waiting for us when we check in. Plus having a box makes it easier to hand out the gifts anyway.

I ordered new printer ink so I can make my magnets. Still waiting for that. And we got a note from my 4 year olds teacher saying someone in her class has chicken pox. So not only do I have to worry about the swine flu but chicken pox too? She's been vaccinated against chicken pox so hopefully she won't get that but none of us have been able to get the swine flu vaccine yet. Claire has been on antibiotics for a lingering cold and the lines have been about 2-3 hours wait in the cold.

I'm one of THOSE people. We leave Saturday morning at 3:30am for the airport. I'll start packing Friday sometime Not only that...but I make everyone in my family do THEIR OWN packing...I do however do an audit before leaving And if worse comes to worse, I figure we can buy it

I had intended to start packing this weekend, or at least oragnizing....BUT, the furthest I got was packing the most important stuff.....for the FE/magnet exchange!!! Then I got a bit side tracked and guess what??? I PUT UP MY CHRISTMAS TREE!!! I know it is a little early, but I love the decorations and the kids have fun helping....Oh well, I still have next week!!!

We leave Thursday morning and we're hoping that lovely little storm named Ida has dissipated by then and left the state of Florida. Right now it's getting ready to move into the Gulf of Mexico. The waters here are a little too cool for hurricane development, and hopefully the upper level winds and high(?) pressure will keep it from developing into a hurricane. Looks like it could take a sharp right turn and head into the Florida peninsula, so we might get some rain at WDW in the next few days. Fine. Just be gone and out of there by the 19th, okay?!!

We had really rough seas on our last cruise. So rough in fact that I rolled right out of bed lol and the closet doors kept opening! Keeping my fingers crossed for calm seas lol!

Lol, we are doing the same thing tomorrow. Two trees in fact. We are away the next two weekends and then the weekend after we return, I have work meetings, both Kent and I's company Xmas parties and Grey Cup (Canadian version of the Superbowl). The weekend after that, an Xmas party at our home for over 50 people so, if 3 trees are going to be up by then, 2 are going to have to be up before we leave. Ahhhh, Christmas, the season to run yourself ragged.

Hiya Everyone!

I am freaking out this AM! I got a letter from Claire's school saying someone in her class has the chicken pox. I look at Claire's face this morn and she has a red mark on her face. I am praying it is just me freaking out over nothing and a blemish. I called the school to make sure Claire has the vaccine for the pox and they said she does but so did the girl that has the pox. So I am calling my doc as soon as they open. I hear there is a anti viral they can give her but I am sure they will make me wait to see if any more red marks appear.

Well, pray for us!

PS anyone else disappointed "New Moon" isn't a Disney Movie? I would love to see that on the ship!
