Here's the Rays, Reef and Rum Point from Nativeway Watersports:

’Rays, Reef, and Rum Point New!

Stingray Sandbar, Barrier Reef & Rum Point Beach

Leave the crowds behind …and enjoy a full day of island fun and adventure on our ’Rays, Reef, and Rum Point excursion.

Swim under, over, and among dozens of friendly ‘rays at Stingray Sandbar. Snorkel amidst the amazing underwater life of Barrier Reef. Enjoy the turquoise waters and quiet, unspoiled beaches of Rum Point. All in one day … done the Native Way.

We guarantee small groups – never more than 25 people – on this popular excursion, which is a favorite with adventurers of all ages. It’s led by experienced, lively local guides and includes a generous picnic lunch (for you, plus a special meal for the stingrays!) and plenty of beverages.

Stingray Sandbar: The Stingray City Sandbar, located inside the Barrier Reef, is teeming with 30 to 40 Southern Atlantic stingrays, some of the friendliest sea creatures in the world. The only place in the world where you can do so, enjoy the thrill of swimming with and feeding the ‘rays. Native Way instructors will show you how to pet, hand-feed and snorkel alongside these velvety-smooth creatures with whip-like tails.

Barrier Reef: This spectacular snorkelers’ heaven, and haven, is home to more than 100 species of coral and an amazing myriad of colorful fish and sea creatures.

Rum Point Beach: At picturesque Rum Point kick back and take a snooze in a beach hammock or get off the beach and enjoy the water sports. Away from the crowds, this tranquil spot with its shade trees, picnic tables and pearly white beaches is an ideal spot for swimming, sunning, or snoozing. The shallow clear waters of a huge lagoon are perfect for children and novice swimmers.
5 Hours. Departs pier at 9:00 AM Eastern Time;
returns at 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Adults: $55 Children: $40 (10 and under)

Last year there was a large group that had the boat to themselves. I'll give them a call. Perhaps we can do some customization and spend a bit more time at Rum Point? I wonder if we could get Captn Marvins to do some customization and drop us off at Rum Point for an hour or two?

That sounds pretty good, Doogie. Sort of like the Fury trip. Let us know what you find out. Whichever we decide, I'll bet we can get 20 to 30 people for it. Heck, we could do one at GC and the Fury at Coz if we wanted. And I think we can reserve early as we need to outside Disney.

Ok Lampskies, I will be in Diversions the whole time watching the games. Hey, I would be doing it at home anyway. So what's the difference?!?!?

From th May repositioning cruise board-

Dry Dock Changes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The President of the Cruise Line spoke this morning and talked about the following changes in Dry Dock:

The spa area will be remodelled and pushed all the way to the front of the ship and windows will look out over the front of the ship they will add special private rooms for couples massages.

THIS IS THE BEST
On the upper deck of the ship they are adding a jumbo tron type display so that they can show movies under the stars and also enhance the sailaway parties will be 24 feet wide and I think 15 feet tall.

The conference rooms are being eliminated and replaced with more childrens areas, they will be computer simulations and actually allow the kids to pretend to dock the ship.

On Castaway Cay they are adding swimming with the stingrays

More ships are coming as soon as the exchange rates are better

2007 should see new ports of call mainly from the United States, no plans yet for Hawaii or Foreign Ports.

COOOOOOOOL!

Are you all ready!!!!!!!! I just got off the phone with "MY GIRLFRIEND"!!!!! Everyone who is linked with Willie and John and Doogie now oficially has APL rotaions for 8:30 dinner.....and yes, WE ARE ALL TOGETHER!!!!!!!! I had Willie on the cell and my "girlfriend" on the other phone and she found all the Dreams Unlimited Ressies.....she can't touch your ressies but put in a "request" for them to link you to my reservation and that was all that needed to be done......sooooooo anyone else that wants that rotation needs to let me know and she will make sure we are all together :cool1: FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!

That's great news for those of you who booked through DU. However, we booked our ressies directly through DCL. Maybe when I talk to the coordinator for REAS, I can mention the 'big link' of DU dinner ressies? :earsgirl:

We defiinitely want to join in on that food fight.Since we booked directly with DCL I wonder what I will need to get linked with you all?Anybody know? Thanks!

Maria

Mickeyhugger and Maria.....you can call DCL and give them my last name..."Lamparski" we have two rooms and two ressies but I think it is under Ron. Just ask to be added to the rotation.....they have everyone by "real" names so I was REALLY confused :confused3 If there is a problem let me know...... Now as far as REAS......CC Club guests can book 90 days out (palo, shore etc.) if you book the REAS it's 105 days......as long as you are paid in full.......my "girlfriend" told me she'd "take care" of shore excursions if we all wanted to book together.....

And yes, GC IS going to be the stop!!! But DCL is trying to gey some more "excursions" away from the devistation!!!

Can we make this easy???? One more time, let's count off for dinner rotation ressies......

Nope, it is me. Back from field day around 1:00. I had fun with the events. Working with kids is one of my favorite things to do. When I was young I wanted to be a coach. Then I found out that I could not make any money coaching! So now I am a volunteer coach and make my living in insurance.
