Ya, Willie back to Diversions in time to catch the end of the game!!!!! You know, it's only May and between this thread and the panama canal thread.....I've REALLY got the itch to sail.....NOW!!!! And I hate winter!!!!

Willie,

Congrats on the basketball!! I'll have to have Bailey e-mail Erin. She can't wait for the cruise again. We need to talk a bit more about soccer as I'm in the dark; some good things have happened this spring. We're going to try both skating and soccer this fall.

Lamps and Willie, ya'll know I like to have a good time, and if I wasn't so !@$!@#$ small, I'd be able to keep up with you! I'm afraid if I tried to keep up with Lamps I'd be face first in the teak deck.

What's everybody doing for excursions? It was so much fun doing things with other DISer's last T-day (Willie & family - Paradise Beach; the DIS corner on Castaway Cay). 82 degrees here... feels like ssssssuuuuuumer!

5Js - where are you????

WMILLER86-I won't let Lampy fool me.Thanks for the warning.Kareoke should be a lot of fun.We have never done it.Hey we will be turkeys too.We are surely looking forward to meeting you and everyone else on this thread.Nightly Dis meets!Excellent!

LAMPSKIES-You just had to post this NFL schedule<G>!My dh will be watching the games I am sure of that.We will start training soon as we have a lot of training to do to catch up with you and all those millers<G>.

Maria

Doogie....... :rotfl2: I was thinking the same thing "where is John and Julia"? We are heading to Ohio next weekend and was wondering what the distance was....aahhhhh Maria, willie and I were the "mainstays" for football. Icemanpad came down for a little but it REALLY is a good time....the kids are allowed in Diversions 'till 9 p.m. What did they have Willie? Hot dogs, rib tips, and hot wings....and yes, plenty of Miller lite!!!!

P.S. I'm working on "same rotation" dining with us disers who would like to be late and on the same rotation :cool1: I had to promise "no food fights" :rotfl2: Is there an actual count of who doesn't mind late seating and of course....APL rotation!! That would be the "party rotation". Limbo on Pirate night anybody? But all us disers dressed up at the same time on Turkey day????

Lamps, count us in on the dining rotation. We're already late.

Taking the Vette to Indy next weekend; hoping it doesn't rain. My brother as a few cars he has on contract in the field already. In the past, he's had up to 15.

Yes, Lamps! Please count us in too! DH, DD (age 11) and I are hoping for APL rotation (we booked on REAS, and are requesting it). I wonder if there's a way to link seatings/reservations together? It'd be great if we could all be in the same vicinity in the dining rooms! :cool1:

Willie....

A BIG congratulations to Erin!!! Way to go!!!! Best of luck in the next round!!!

We have late seating also. We usually get APL rotation also so count us in.

Kennyk

Lampskies-You can count on us too.We already have late seating. All we are waiting for is our stateroom number.

You can count on DH and I meeting you all in Diversions. We truly enjoyed it in there this past December.DH love football,so I know he will be watching it<G>.

Everyone have a great Friday and weekend!

Maria

Lampy,

Your girlfriend will probably need more info to link the seating. Maybe cabin numbers? Let us know.
We had a great time at Paradise beach (Cozumel) last year. But are thinking about maybe doing the Fury Cat snorkel this year...I dunno. I liked both. It would be hard to beat the service we got at PB. But with all of the ships in port, all beaches will be crowded!

Can we plan some group excursions?

Castaway Cay- We know we are taking over the DIS corner again. DW will most likely parasail again.

Grand Cayman- Stingray snorkel? We did Capt Marvins last year and was great. But any other suggestions? Not alot of choices since the hurricane damage. We could charter our own boat here for about $100 per head. Or just all book the same trip. May end up at Costa Maya?

Cozumel- Lots of choices here. The Fury Catamaran Snorkel is great and beer and margaritas are included. Lots of beaches with service. I don't know how much a private charter here would cost. Anybody chartered private here?

I agree with Doogie. The day trips are more fun with DIS friends.

Willie

I CAN (should be able too) link dining times and rotations with ressie numbers as long as we all stay "late". I talked to "someone" at DCL and yes, 5th sailng for us and all you "repeaters" does mean something, "THEY" know of these boards and for some reason "they" do know me :rotfl2: . So I told "them" tentatively 30-40. The 30 size looks like all one set of servers.....any more would be a "push". But I explained we are not the "complaining" type and if service was a little slower we would be o.k. with that to be together.....

So we have.....

Doogie......

Disneyfan37......

Willie.....

KennyK.....

Mickeyhugger......

John and Julia.....if they ever come back to the boards I'm sure :confused3

Lampy,
add our friends, Hershel and Melissa Manley to the seating link. they have 3 kids, DD15,DD12,DS10.

Let us know what info you will need.

One big question. But, I may have to ask it after you have this set up.

Willie

And......as far as shore excursions go.......you know Kim and having things "pre-planned", she feels she's on vacation......but, we REALLY like the catamaran snorkle and beach party, but you do have to book that as soon as possible. The family that sailed with us didn't book early and had to wait for a cancellation the day before......That would be a blast, we took over the voleyball area.
I'm looking foreward to move to the "other side" of the lifeguard tower this year. Last year our neighbors were with us and Kim wanted to make sure they had a good time.....I'm bringing cheese wiz for doogie........I am still staying closest to the ship to make sure I get the CM to bring "MY" bucket first!!! :drinking1

We are good for the Fury. Early trip or late one? When can we book?

We did the late Fury last year....I booked at the 60 day mark last time. It was perfect, I believe we were back on the ship around 4:45. DDs went to hang out and myself and Kim headed to the shops and were back in time for "Pirate night" dinner.

Lampskie-please include us in the dinner group. We have late seating too. We had APL last year and loved that rotation. We would like to be part of the group this year too!!

Thanks!!

This is Disneyfan37's dh. As she has already said, count me on being in Diversions for football, both Sunday and Turkey Day. Now it's one day less than 6 months to go.
