Wow, 50% is great. Last year the Eiss Family booked about two months out. I don't know how full it was at that time, but Chuck said they paid a little more because it was late. When we were booking this years cruise while we were onboard last Thanksgiving, I was surprised to hear that the T Day cruise for 2005 was already half full. The rep told me that since the ship is going to be in California all summer, that only left a limited number of Western Carribean Cruises to chose from. So they were selling fast.

Actually...the baby will be about 5 months by that time! Can you believe it?! We are actually saving cruise $$$ for October '06 when we could do our vow renewal. We figured we'd cruise every other year and do Disney on the opposite years. If you all keep up the tradition, we may see you on a cruise yet! Besides, they're like potato chips, right???? LOL

Regarding the weather.. no snow but ice here tomorrow... it's definitately much better at CC!! We're travelling (driving) tomorrow and may leave early. My DD has a figure skating competition Sat. and we're going to see Toby Keith tommrow night. We just got back from a competition today only to turn around and do it all over again; but with poor weather. DD has done very well, but for the cost of figure skating I could have two Vettes!! Advice to Ya'll: keep your kids in team sports that aren't subjective, doesn't need private individual coaching, and doesn't require facility rental. Stick to objective sports where "most goals in" or "first one to cross the line" wins. Send me a PM for more info...

Lampy, Punta Canta??? Where is that and what is there to do? Besides a boat, it sounds like you also need to buy snowmobile(s).

You are right Willie--we booked 2 months out last year and paid more for a cat 11 room then we are paying this year for a cat 6 room. It pays to book early!!

Doogie-this will be our 2nd DCL cruise, not our third cruise. Thanks for your hard work!!

We would like to be linked together for dinner too!! Last year we had the APL rotation which was great!!

Hope ya'll are having a great January. It's been a little chilly here in Florida--Lows in the 50s and highs near 70. Ok, I guess we really cannot complain!!

Batten down the hatches..........Here comes the snow!!!! 10-15 by tomorrow afternoon and the 10 more possible lake effect I have a 90 ft back yard with a 25 ft grade to the lake.....I'm building a tobagon run!!!!! Sure would rather be at CC though......

It sounds like your cruise is shaping up nicely...ya'll will have a great time! We won't be with you this year, but as Teresa pointed out to me....once a turkey always a turkey! GOBBLE! GOBBLE! GOBBLE! We will be taking our big trip the week before Christmas, heading home to SSR for the first time! And Teresa, your words about Santa Mickey worked! I've got the boys staying till Christmas day now!

They just updated our forcast....evem MORE snow than expected!!! It was supposed to end Tomorrow afternoon....now they are adding 8-12 lake effect onto the origional 18 inches!!!!
