November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

I too believe the Pirate night was the best night......Dw and DDs also said that Pirate Night was the best deck party of our 4 sailings......DD Alli had a pirate hat and eye patch she wore to dinner....the rest of us used the things provided at dinner....WE DID GET RIPPED OFF THOUGH.....The fireworks show started the sailing after ours....I have the "treasure map" menu in a frame behind my "carribean bar".....We also have out Thanksgiving menue that we are going to hang there......

Cool. We are so getting stuff to dress up in (well, maybe not hubby). My kids are sooo excited. Our waiters from our 4 night Magic last week gave me the menus and the bandanas for the kids. It looked so cool. I skipped the dinner and the deck party so I could experience it with my kids, but I heard it was AWESOME!!
Does anyone remember what the Thankgiving menu was? Was it really good? Getting hungry already!!

I read your trip report. Your vacation w/ your DH sounded wonderful!! The Thanksgiving dinner menu included a combination of traditional Thanksgiving offerings and also lobster!! We opted for the lobster since we felt we could eat turkey any night!! The menu is a souvenir. Additionally, Mickey and Minnie dressed up as Pilgrims.

I had the Lobster...AND prime rib. Don't forget.....you aren't kept to one main course. I kept the menus......if I can figure how to post a pic here I'll post it.....Hey Willie, how'd ya do that pic of us?

Ahh, a little surf and turf action. I could do that! I am beyond excited for this cruise. Now if I can just get my room upgrade. We are waitlisted for a cat 3. I am hoping for some pixie dust. I intend to log some serious time in the rainforest room this trip. And since my baby will be 2 1/2, I will feel much more comfortable leaving her in Flounders Nursery. She'll actually be able to make some friends herself. Plus, I want to give Grandma some time off. Palos, anyone?? God, I really miss that place. Please let the days fly by!

I THINK this is how I did it-
You need to have the picture on a online site, like webshots.com, etc.
Pick the picture and right click on it.
Go to properties.
Highlight the address url. Right click again and select copy.

Go to your DIS User CP, then edit profile, in the signature box, paste the url that you saved.
Be sure to type

after the photo.

Then click on save. This will put the photo in all of your DIS posts.

I think to post just one pic, you can click on the icon at the top of the page when posting.

If this does not work, there is a DIS tech board that has it all.

I think your problem may have been ofoto. I could not get my ofoto pics to work on the DIS. I had to set up pics on imagestation.com by Sony.

Those were great pictures, Ron. I saved a couple of them on imagestation.com, and then did the insert photo on the top of the post reply page. voila I am trying to practice this pic insert stuff, so Ron I hope you don't mind if I post a great pic of you and Kim.

yes - we are officially booked - ohMom previously mentioned her parents cruising too, that's me (Bev and DH - Dan)- we are "first-timers" for a DIS cruise. You all make it sound like so much fun!

I 've perused the first 32 pages of this thread (you are talkers that's for sure) and I am ready to pack my bags and have some of that fun!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you .......... and my first question is - key lime pie - will they be serving that on this cruise?
