1. A guy who sometimes cross dresses in pink tu-tu's;

2. A guy who wears a red speedo and shaves his legs;

3. A guy wearing jeans, cowboy boots, spurs and a cowboy hat; and

4. A guy with a sweet mullett and a sleeveless tux.


And you are worried about asking to have your red wine chilled?

Hello? Are you kidding? You could ask them to mix it with Coca Cola and put an olive in it, and you are still going to not draw any attention to yourself!

It's your vacation! If you want your red wine chilled, you go for it.

As far as the wine package - we do both.
We buy the wine package for dinner and bring some for our room. I told you we were winos.

Cindy - Thank you darling daughter for reminding me. (A few years ago we went for a weekend trip with our church and I left my suitcase home.)

Well, we just finished packing. For 4 of us we have 2 big suitcases, 2 duffles, and 1 hanging garment bag. Plus, the kids each have a rolling backpack (Andrew, that was mandatory for kids under 12 wasn't it?) and we'll do one carry on between the two of us. Whew, that seems like a lot of luggage. One duffle contains all our shoes and one for our pirate costumes.

Hubby was hoping for a good book to read. He loved all the Dan Brown books (well, except Digital Fortress). Any suggestions? Has anyone read David Balducci or James Patterson-are they similar plot lines to Dan Brown?

OK, I'll forget about packing that nice little black dress that I was proud to have fit into at the store....the one that I told my dh that I'd better not gain any weight at all on the cruise or it won't fit....that one. I'm leaving it at home. Maybe I can wear it for New Year's Eve if I eat only oatmeal from November 26th until then.

Make that diet oatmeal.

When I had my formal altered, the little asian lady at the place kept trying to make it really fitted around the ribcage- I had to keep explaining that iIwas wearing the dress on day 3 of a cruise!!!! I figured out that when I get dressed each day, I will wear the best fitting clothes the first couple days, and the looser clothes for the last few days!!!! Pam

I just realized as I was catching up on the posts from the past few hours that the date and time on each post changed from saying "today at10:45 pm" to "yesterday at 10:00 pm". A glance at the clock tells me that it is now 12:15!!!!!! Oh well, DH will be up in 4 hours- maybe I should just hang out until then- he will think I got up really early and did all that laundry!!!! Pam

I didn't know I was doing a marathon??? uh um....my DH will tell you that I never walk much...he's always asking me to walk with him but I make too many excuses not to do it. One thing, it starts out going UP the hill and it's flat the rest of the walk...secondly, eh, I don't know...I figure with all the running around, carrying my faux supplies, scaffold, ladders, tools, etc. I think I've done my work out.

BTW~I walked in the door by 8:30pm this evening...just finished my clients faux painting. WHew...now I can start packing and such...the house is a total mess....all the kids left it for me to do...oh I can't wait to get on the boat to be waited on...to drink...to read...to swim...to suntan...massage....to be fed to...of course this will only last one week of no more of hearing..."WHAT'S FOR DINNER, MOM?" "CAN YOU GET ME THIS AND GET ME THAT?" UGh!!

.....OH I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Joining the rest of you late tonight! I am doing laundry (can't have stuff laying around in the hamper for 1.5 weeks, stinking things up!), returning emails, and yes, reading here. I also have a pad of paper next to me, so each time I remember something else to bring or take care of before we leave, I can write it down. 5 nights of no sleep, my brain is mush, I need to write things down!

Gfolchick, I mentioned to my youngest, Emma, that staying next to us will be a girl that she might like getting to know. Emma was very happy to hear that. Suppose we shall have to get them together.

Presently 19 degrees here now. I am ready for some warm sun!

It 4:30 am here. All is done - Just waiting for LIMO to pick us up to take us to the airport.

So we will be mostly out of contact for 2 days. I'm sure you'll hit the 500 mark before the cruise. See you in the Terminal.

I usually bring my own bottle of something. Even if you bring your own wine, there's $15 corkage fee if you bring it into the dining room. I'm also thinking of bringing some from the "vault" to share with all you great folks. We'll see how much room is left in the suit cases or the kids backpacks.

Someone inquired about DIS meets. We meet nightly at 10 in Diversions. The first official DIS meet is at the sail away party, Deck 10, port side, by the goofy pool... next to the soon-to-be-empty (Lampy) portable bar.

The first "unofficial" meet will be at the cruise terminal while folks are waiting to board. All the way up front by the couches.

For those of you travelling today... safe travels. See you on the ship!

Good morning!I have so much to do on this Thursday of ours!

WOW!It is cold out up there.Here is in in the high 40s this morning,and no humidity.I love FL this time of the year.
