Good morning Melissa,

Glad you have joined us for a spell,

Off running my self. Talk to you soon

Ken

Paul- Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you for serving our country! Are any other men or women on our cruise Veterans? If so, let us know so we can all thank you too! Have a great day Paul-see you in 8 days.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

one of the government job perks - Veterans Day - no work for me! so it is down to the "Friday" that I said I would get it "all" done for the cruise - so where do I start - of course - reading the many pages (and pages) of you guys are chatting away.

Also, I must warn you that at least one of the TCD kids will do an illegal cannonball in the adult pool, but it will happen so quickly that no one will notice. It is necessary for bragging rights. Mrs. TCD does not authorize this behavior, so don't tell her about it. The less she knows the happier we will all be. Thanks.
Andrew - this sounds like extortation material to me - is it worth a fu-fu drink to keep it quiet

Is there anyone out there have a teenage DS at age 16??? I Cannot STAND the attitudes they develope...I gotta get him on that boat....he's driving me crazy but I do love him...but when does this hormonal thing dissappears??? WE WANT HIM BACK TO BEING A LITTLE BOY AGAIN
Julia - sorry to say - that our experience -once it happens - it is there to stay for quite some time - ahhhh - like until he was like early 20's. We did think that 16 wasn't the worse though he wanted - car keys - they made a nice "carrot" to dangle :teeth: And, even though she is the best DD EVER - she got the 'tude too - so I do think it is just a natural teen stage - but it is nice when they move on and figure out that as parents "we weren't out to "get" them - just wanted the best for them"

And, my sentiments exactly on the dang gasoline prices - yesterday up from $2.06 to $2.39 and then by early evening back to $2.13 - not that it made that much dif (but it is the principle here) I was glad that I didn't have time for stopping until it was back down!

Had traditional Thanksgiving dinner foods last night - glad that is done-those tastes satisfied for another year, now I can concentrate on that lobster I'll be having this year :earboy2:

You mentioned that you had just finished the Davinci Code, and that you had a couple of other Dan Brown books picked out for the cruise. I suggested Deception Point. I take that back-if you have Angels and Demons read that. I liked it better than the Davinci Code.

Grammy: You mean that I can buy your silence for one fu-fu drink? I accept! If you have any dirt on me, please feel free to come to me before going to Mrs. TCD (she is the other Molly). I am more than willing to negotiate a fair deal.

By the way, have you disclosed your real first name, or are we just going to all call you Grammy? What do we call Mr. Grammy?

Hey Ken- How are you enjoying the weather here in Florida? Is it nice or what? November is my favorite month. Hope that you are not running around too much to not enjoy it.

FYI everyone who is not in Florida- the weather in central Florida this week has been low 60's in the morning, getting up into the low 80's in the afternoon. No rain. Lots of sunshine. It is supposed to be this way for the next four or five days. I hope it keeps up for all of you turkeys coming in late next week.

:hyper: :moped: :boat: :boat: :cloud9:

this is my plan!!! this weekend i'll remain in :hyper: mode sadly!!

i just must say that my DD 13 (taylor) has been very pleasant this week! must be the AWESOME babysitting job she has landed! a casual friend of mine called her this week for the first time and she'll end up babysitting three times this week and lets just say having some moola makes her more pleasant!

Taylor and I are hitting Best Buy, Wal-mart and the mall tonight for any last minute items. am i forgetting anything???

Paul -- :flower3: Thank you and all servicefolks/veterans for ALL your hard work!

rebooking! yes! we are very open to rebooking -- do you all take quotes from online TA -- i read on a thread a while ago that someone took in a quote and DCL matched it? then the discount after? all this talk about Key West, plus missing COZ, well that settles it then!

love looking at all pictures -- what a mood setter. somehow I have this feeling i'm going to feel short next to Ron and Willie!

blonde here too but i can take it! LOL

off to put up my final christmas tree!

Mary-I am Cuban!I am sure Andrew could come up with some jokes on me too<G>!

Maria

Maria- Lawyer jokes are OK w/ me because I am one. Blonde jokes are OK, as long as they are not mean. I try to stay away from the ethnic jokes. I really do want to set a good example for my children. Did you notice that I have not posted a single Polish joke, even though Lampy told us all that he is Polish? And trust me, I know some good ones. But, since you asked for a Cuban joke, I will give you one, (but no more). Please don't take offense:

Q: What's the Cuban national anthem?

A: Row, Row, Row Your Boat. . .

Thank you, thank you. I'll be appearing live next week on the Disney Magic.

Molli, I :worship: you....you AMAZE me. You are getting your Christmas tree up...doing your last minute shopping for cruise...I'm not near getting the house cleaned up and not yet finish with packing. I'm in BIG trouble next week...John will be gone to California and I have to work(paint) and there will not be enough hours to do other things...staying up late and getting up early is the only answer.

Andrew: I read Da Vinci Code also...about 2 years ago. It's very good and I heard they are planning a movie on it. One of my favorite actor is Tom Hanks who I believe will be playing the main character. You said Angels and Demons was good? I gotta read that too. I love to read...if I had the time...might have to wait until all kids are out of the house. :confused3

Yall have been busy here this AM! Well let me catch up.

The picture of me walking down the beach with DD Erin that Doodie posted is correct. I do not have a beer in the hand. That is why I look so sad... :confused3

But he does have one of me from earlier that day at Paradise beach with a Yard Margarita!

Re: Blondes- DDHayley has a good friend (blonde)that has t-shirt that says"Blondes have more fun" . On the days she wears it, Hayley(brunette, honors student)wears hers that says "But brunettes get better grades" They have alot of fun with it. Hayley is a freshman this year and so far has only copped the attitude a few times with her Mom. I still have the bluff in. Of course, she knows with her Dad, she would be better off doing ANYTHING, except showing disrespect. Just won't be tolerated.

We would love to do Eastern also, Doogie....but I don't know if next year is possible. We need more time to think about it. :scratchin

As for the blonde jokes going on.....I said...what about the other color hair jokes....The only stupid thing I did was back about 5 years ago...I had a Jeep, which I loved very much...went out to a tree farm...cut a tree down...load it up on top of my Jeep...drove home. That was a normal thing to do, right?...well not yet....when I pulled up on my drive way...push my remote button to open the garage door and drove into my garage and all of the sudden, I heard this loud noise above my head and I shouted @%^*&!#. Oh man!!!...so I pull back out...hoping none of my neighbors saw me. There were minimal damage on the garage door. A few minutes later, I get a phone call and my neighbor(2doors down from me) is laughing  :rotfl: :rotfl2: her head off. That was very embarrasing

Well time is ticking away :hourglass and I have sample boards to do so that I can do a job next week before leaving FRIDAY!!!YES...can't wait. :drinking1 :rockband: :boat: :dancer: :disrocks: :thewave:

Julia ::MinnieMo

my oldest DS is 19 now and just moved back home with us and decided to bring a friend, a cat and a pit bull. :bitelip: he was the perfect child until he hit 17 and then it really hit the fan. He is slowly coming back around to his old wonderful self...luckily I still have DS 8 and DD 3

Personally I hope Ken is having a rotten time -

Seeing my dd and dgs (They moved in Sep - I miss them)

Eating at Boma -
Eating at the Rose and Crown
Watching Illuminations

Probably strolling through the park right now while I'm stuck up here in NY (Booo Hoooo)

Working - Well..... ( at work anyway)

OK - I'm done crying.
Love Ya Hunny -
By the way we managed to get 3 kids through the teenage years. My youngest is now 26. (He was the hardest - Earring - smoking - skipping classes - long hair) Now he's got really short hair - no earring and is a hard working Computer Guy. So know there is hope.

TGIF - and that's not for the Blondes. Counting the days. I will be watching the ship this weekend as she pulls out thinking I'm Next.

TTFN (Ta Ta For Now)(That's Tigger Talk)

Mary

LOL Hardly.... DH wishes tho... no one to watch the kiddos while we scooter off in to the sunset...

Sherri :moped:

Thank you all for talking about your teens and/or were teens. It sure does help so that I don't go too crazy. :flower:

Good subject, when can I purchase beer, wine, vodka on Saturday morning in Cape Canaveral area? We get into Orlando around 10:30pm Friday night, by the time we get to CC it will probably be around midnight. Any clue for the Saturday morning alcohol hunt? I have the family taking the Raddison shuttle and I have to return car to budget, and catch their shuttle to the port. I think they are on a 10:30 shuttle.
Thanks
Bill

Bill- I am going to buying my beverages this week locally. Somebody else help Bill out with options around the port. I really don't know. If you are in a pinch, I could probably get you a bottle of vodka and bring it with. Beer and wine should be pretty easy to find. They sell that everywhere in Florida- grocery stores, gas stations, churches (just kidding about that one-that's Texas). I'm thinking that Lampy will be the man with the plan in the alcohol dept. He should be showing up around here sometime today.

Julia,

I have a 15.5 yr old DS (10th grade) and 14 yo DD (9th grade). Yes, the aliens do seem to have transported him and replaced him with a evil clone at times. :teleport: (I've been wanting to use this smiley for a while - thanks for giving me the chance :rotfl: ) But then sometimes, the evil clone must have to go back to the mother ship for recharging, and my son is back. Last night we walked the dog and had a great talk about school and how things were going. Then we sat on the front porch for another 15 minutes and talked more. But then he teleported back to his room and I didn't see him for the rest of the night. :rolleyes1 He did say he wanted to dress up on the cruise so we could take pictures. :earseek: I have to admit he keeps life interesting for us. :earboy2: While he isn't perfect, I wouldn't trade him for the world.
