November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

Hi ALL,

Well even if I was unable to obtain the "official" green shirt I was able to make a "replica." So I may be a little off-color (won't be the first time) but I will still be identifiable.

You guys have been so chatty I think it will easily get to 5000.

I am going to my house in East Texas this weekend to host a red neck hunting party and early Thanksgiving dinner so I am afraid I will never chatch up. So have a good weekend!!!

Willie- I am sure that you have heard Jeff Foxworthy's "You might be a redneck jokes." How about some you might be a Yankee jokes?

You might be a Yankee if:

-you would rather have your son become a lawyer than grow up to get his own TV fishing show.

-instead of referring to two or more people as y'all, you call them "you guys," even when both of them are women.

-you don't think Howard Stern has an accent.

-you think more money should go to important scientific research at your university than to pay the salary of the head football coach.

-you don't have any hats in your closet that advertise feed stores.

-none of your fur coats are homemade.

Doug- A computer guy, huh? We just had a new server installed here at the office. Our IT guy has been here a lot. He is driving a sweet new Cadillac. So someone has noticed this car in the parking lot and asks if one of the attorneys has a new car. As if. What is up with that? The IT guy is driving a nicer car than all of the attorneys? Maybe we should sue him.

Hey Andrew, I am also from South Jersey...Born in Camden (Yuck!!!). I never would have actually admitted it, if I hadn't read that you attended Willingboro High School. I went to Shawnee High School. I had many friends that had moved from Willingboro out to the so called (sticks!!) of Medford. My most famous classmate was Calista Flockhart (AKA-Allie McBeal). I would never go back, but when I grew up, Medford was a wonderful town! See you next week.........................Sydney

Sydney- I worked as a counselor at Lenape Scout Reservation in Medford Lakes for 2 summers. That would have been in 1977 and 1978. I haven't been back to NJ in years. I heard that the camp is now a subdivision. I would not want to see that. I graduated from High School in 1979, and moved to Florida that summer. I had originally planned to go to Rutgers, but ended up at University of Florida, and I have been a Floridian ever since. I remember Shawnee High School. I think Medford and Medford Lakes were great places, but I agree with you-Florida is better.

How about a photo of the Magic. This is actually a photo of the TCD kids on top of Ft. Taylor in Key West. We took a road trip there last year the week after Christmas. The Magic just so happened to be in Key West that day. That is the Magic over the shoulder of the DD furthest to your right.

Here is a photo of TCD (me) w/ kids at the Southernmost Point. If you have never been to Key West, you should try to get there. It is a great town. Lampy-you can walk down the street with a beer in your hand. Not too many places you can do that anymore.

We use to take road trips all the time till we got hooked on DCL.We would drive to MN,KY,OH,MS,and SC.We haven't taken a road trip for a long while now.I am not complaining though as we are enjoying cruising.We will have to make a point of going to Key West though.

That's fine...I'm Blonde too....that's why I like the other jokes than the blonde jokes. I have a friend who always emails me blonde jokes. I never hear brunettes, reds, purples, blues, greens or even GRAY hair jokes. Why blondes??? we're not that stupid.
