OK, I've heard it enough times, so I have to ask: Does Doogie really have a speedo? Please tell me this is a joke! :scared: I'm sure that there will be some around, but come on man, you are an American not a Euro!

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

YES HE DOES!!!!! And the fish love it!

Paul- Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you for serving our country! Are any other men or women on our cruise Veterans? If so, let us know so we can all thank you too! Have a great day Paul-see you in 8 days.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Andrew,

Thank you! Remind me to buy you a drink (sorry guys, only the first person gets this deal  ). I spent my career as a desk jockey - never had to do what the guys are doing in Iraq right now or what my dad did as a combat infantryman in WWII - now those are the people we really need to thank.

Anyone thinking of rebooking onboard?

It's been awhile since we've done an Eastern... If we do, we won't go western...

Going to cancell my 10 nighter Christmas 06 and rebook for the extra "credit" as long as it is less.......

Hey Ken- How are you enjoying the weather here in Florida? Is it nice or what? November is my favorite month. Hope that you are not running around too much to not enjoy it.

FYI everyone who is not in Florida- the weather in central Florida this week has been low 60's in the morning, getting up into the low 80's in the afternoon. No rain. Lots of sunshine. It is supposed to be this way for the next four or five days. I hope it keeps up for all of you turkeys coming in late next week.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Okay, I have to chime in on the weather here in central Alabama. We had record highs (mid-80s - actually had to turn the a/c back on) earlier this week. Cooled off last night into the low 40s-upper 30s. Will be SUNNY and mid-70s today, and the rest of the weekend. No chance of snow. :cheer2: And the trees are finally changing color.

Just thought I'd let you know that I'm listening to Live365 Disney music right now (the monorail speil is on now on Mouse World Radio "Please stand clear of the doors" -- now it is the Spaceship Earth ride through). I'm jealous of all of you that will visit WDW before the cruise. We're going to drive via Jacksonville instead of Orlando just because I'm afraid the van will veer off at the WDW exit instead of continuing on to Cape Canaveral. :moped:

Julia,

I have a 15.5 yr old DS (10th grade) and 14 yo DD (9th grade). Yes, the aliens do seem to have transported him and replaced him with a evil clone at times. :teleport: (I've been wanting to use this smiley for a while - thanks for giving me the chance :rotfl: ) But then sometimes, the evil clone must have to go back to the mother ship for recharging, and my son is back. Last night we walked the dog and had a great talk about school and how things were going. Then we sat on the front porch for another 15 minutes and talked more. But then he teleported back to his room and I didn't see him for the rest of the night. :rolleyes1 He did say he wanted to dress up on the cruise so we could take pictures. :earseek: I have to admit he keeps life interesting for us. :earboy2: While he isn't perfect, I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Thanks, Paul :flower: I know that five years from now...we'll laugh about what ever crazy things my DS done. I hope.

Paul- No drink necessary- I am going to have a Key To The World Card from Lampy. I'll just be using that for the cruise :drinking1

All veterans deserve our thanks. My Dad was a so-called desk jockey. He was an Army JAG officer, and about got killed in Viet Nam when his office got bombed. He has a piece of his blown up desk that he kept as a souvenier. My younger brother is also now a desk jockey. He graduated from Annopolis in 1986, was an electronics warfare officer abourd EA6B's in the Gulf War, and then went to law school. He is now a JAG officer aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. His office is literally on the ship. Where the ship goes, he goes. I can tell you one thing, he is never going to go on a recreational cruise.

So, thanks again, and enjoy your day!

Yall have been busy here this AM! Well let me catch up.

The picture of me walking down the beach with DD Erin that Doodie posted is correct. I do not have a beer in the hand. That is why I look so sad... :confused3

But he does have one of me from earlier that day at Paradise beach with a Yard Margarita!

Re: Blondes- DDHayley has a good friend (blonde)that has t-shirt that says"Blondes have more fun" . On the days she wears it, Hayley(brunette, honors student)wears hers that says "But brunettes get better grades" They have alot of fun with it. Hayley is a freshman this year and so far has only copped the attitude a few times with her Mom. I still have the bluff in. Of course, she knows with her Dad, she would be better off doing ANYTHING, except showing disrespect. Just won't be tolerated.

Willie

Willie :rotfl2: Look at tour post!!! Do you know how many time I have typed "Doodie" insted of Doogie! :rotfl2: That D and G are too close for us 2 finger typers!!

Bill- I am going to buying my beverages this week locally. Somebody else help Bill out with options around the port. I really don't know. If you are in a pinch, I could probably get you a bottle of vodka and bring it with. Beer and wine should be pretty easy to find. They sell that everywhere in Florida- grocery stores, gas stations, churches (just kidding about that one-that's Texas). I'm thinking that Lampy will be the man with the plan in the alcohol dept. He should be showing up around here sometime today.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Sure ask the alkie.....I think there is a liquor store by the Ron Jon...so I'm told....my uncle usually meets us on Friday and bring a couple on cases....but if not.....I'll spend the 7.50 a six at the board walk store......

Julia ::MinnieMo

Lampy, maybe I MEAN'T to type Doodie. Like in, the speedo was full of chips til the big fish attacked, then it was full of doogie. :rotfl2:

Mary,

As you can see from the time I'm not in the parks YET!!!!!

Just came back from our property, put some shorts on and NOW I'm heading to the parks. Cindy (DD) and Alex (DGS) will meet me there later.

So that's it for now

Love ya and see you tomorrow.

Ken

Quit talking about the Holiday 10 nighter! I really am wanting to book that baby, but just don't know how it will work out. For us to do 2 cabins, the cost of cruise only is in the $9500 range. :earseek: :earseek: And that is cat 12ish. Then I have to check on Hayleys HS basketball schedule. Next year she will make varsity as a sophomore, and they take being there more serious than JV. So just stop talking about it and I won't have to think about it yet! :rolleyes1
