OK - I was only gone a few hours and look at all these posts.

All that talk of Bingo - so I went to my local Bingo and won $600 - spending money for the cruise. (Whoops - Ken's in FL - But he will read this) Guess he'll know I have extra money now.!!!

I bought a Pirate shirt, I have earrings and sash. What I need to know is if Disney gives us anything. I saw so many with bandanas and eye patches.

Were they handed out or do I need to go buy them ??

Otherwise I think I have everything.
Mary

Glad I am not alone. He patiently said "yes, dear" when I asked him to wipe the telephone and remote control in his hotel room with lysol, but I'm not sure he will actually do it. I hope you guys didn't pick up any germs tonight at dinner!

We live in Minneapolis, and it is not that cold yet, good thing he is coming now instead of in January!! Today it was really really windy, I have never seen it like that. Hopefully that wind is not bringing in a cold front for the weekend...especially now that I said it wasn't very cold.

Oh, yeah Tana! My whole family did a round of Airborne tonight just because several people around us at dinner out tonight were sneezing & coughing!!! My DH has to fly to Minneapolis on Sat. (brrrr :cold: ) so the Purell will be in his pocket too!! Better safe than sorry this close to cruisin'!

Gas in Montgomery AL is $2.29, though a town just north of us was on the news at $2.19. It was 2.49 last Friday. The most we paid for gas after Rita was right around $3.00. I hope it stays down for our drive to Florida.

We have a natural gas furnace with a piggyback heat pump (no stinking heating oil here). Our electricity prices are supposedly 15% below national average, but our natural gas is 20% above. Go figure.

As I have heard, you get a bandanna at the Pirate Night dinner, along with a special "pirate theme" menu you get to keep. So you'll have to bring your own eye patch, or if you really want to be adventurous, a wooden fake eye with a fork sticking out of it. pirate:

I just did my best at getting us to 4000 posts. Turned my one post into 3 small ones. Hope y'all appreciate my efforts. :lovestruc

Gina & Cody'smom...if there's not a min. order tomorrow...try what I'm trying. Copy the logo Andrew posted, paste it into Word or Power Point & print onto an Iron-on transfer sheet (WalMart). I found matching color T's @ Hobby Lobby (a local craft store), or you can try a screenprinter also. I haven't done the actual transfer yet, but hoping it will come out halfway decent! Better than NOT standing out in the port!! :teeth: Just a thought.
My DH has just recently decided that Alien Lime Green isn't so bad on him, so originally, we only bought them for our kids!

Laurie

Laurie - Thanks for the idea. I will go to Hobby Lobby in the morning and look for the lime green shirts.

:bounce:

Good morning everyone from Sunny Florida. Left that terrible rain up North.

Last night I got up to page 225 will have to go back and start from there.

Yes Mary, I did read the post, Getting warmed up for the bingo on the ship huh.!!

Everyone have a good day.

Ken

man - I was wondering what I would read on the plane........... think I'll print my own book to try to play catch-up - too many pages here this morning to get it all done ;)

mmm - looks like we might be the longest married - 38 years this past Aug 13th. 2 children and yes - Molli put a few of those wrinkles on my face :teeth:

Dan is a civil engineer, works for the City of Dayton Water Department, also he likes to run (ran his first marathon a year ago), this past summer he started cycling, tho that pretty much done until spring now and spends time in the garage making great things out of wood.

I have a fantastic day job - I like to think of it as my pre-retirement reward for all the stressful years at other places :rotfl: I am the receptionist for the Montgomery County Engineer's office - piece of cake - ONLY drawback - no internet access

and BTW - what are you going to be reading - still haven't found "the book" I'll take yet :goodvibes Lampy - I know, it's the Miller Lite label for you :rotfl2:

Ken-Good morning and welcome to FL.Hope the weather stays nice while you are here.Do you play bingo or just Mary?Like I told her I haven't tried it yet neither has dh.It sounds to me like I will have to try it this trip.

Mary-Congratulations on your bingo win  That is great. They give out bandanas at dinner on priate night.DH and I don't have anything prepared for pirate night except t-shirts that we will be doing this weekend thanks to Kate who did the design for us.

Maria

Good morning Maria, & Mary TOO!!

Well off to Bartow in a few minutes, just finished catching up on all the posts.

As far as work. well I'm a service Manager for a local Motorola two-way radio service shop. I do special jobs for them. Nothing in the title. I'm also an assitant Engineer for a Radio station, taking care of live broadcasts etc. And last but not least and probably on the top of favorite jobs. I'm a "Cast Member" at a local Disney Store.

Well that's it for me.

Have a great day everyone off on my running.

I'll have to talk to Dan. Is he still running? I like running on deck 4 in the morning... provided we don't have an early morning port. I also ran on CC last year. It was wonderful although I was exhausted from a week of eating and drinking!! I've done several marathons. Love em but man are they hard on the body. In prior life I raced bikes... my true love... until I met my true love

I keep trying to tell myself nothing tastes as good as thin.... NOT TRUE.

We are planning on doing the Diversions meet thing aren't we? Last year we'd meet nightly for those of us still going at 10pm and swap stories.

OK... a more serious question from one too lazy to investigate and to those who are in the know...

timezones...

I know Mexico is in another zone but is cayman?... if so speaking on my terms EST meaning it is 10:41 here... what does that do for my life? do we gain an hour at cayman and two for costa? or are cayman and costa the same or .....or ... or...

anyone know?

Sherri :hourglass

Just 1 time zone change on Monday night....if I remember correctly...

Woo Hoo!!!    We leave in 7 days!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
Good morning everyone!...I gotta say....some of us need to get some SLEEP!!! :rotfl:
Let me help the effort towards 4000~ Gas is down to $2.13 just north of Atlanta. Jobs~ Glad to hear you like Home Depot, DH has been w/ them 15+ yrs. and is a Product Manager. I just 'retired' from Home Depot after 10+ years as an Inventory Mgr. for the Seasonal/Garden Dept. Now I'm back to my true passion...being mom & a Photographer! :cheer2:
