Yep, I was in GC in March and there were a ton of neat shops. I guess I figured we're going to enough beaches -- the one at Costa Maya sounds nice and who can forget --- TWO STOPS at CC!

My dd is very intent on visiting the Hard Rock Cafe in GC!

I just linked our dinner ressies and got the same reaction from the CM - LOL! She claims that 3/4 of the ship is linked to Mr. Miller. I'm sure she is thinking you are one awesome celebrity - LOL!!!

Lampy, the post you read about meeting at 9pm on Friday the 18th is from DW Maria. She told me that she wrote a post about meeting at Beaches and Cream between the Yacht and Beach Club hotels. We are staying at Pop Century on Friday night. We would like to see you, if you can make it at 9pm.

Doogie has a native way excursion set for us at GC. There is about 25 of us going which inclides linch and time at the beach. Maybe you can get linked in. It is going to be a private DIS affair.

Just stopped home for a few and now back out to work.

Anyone else for Beaches and Cream at 9:00pm on Friday for a mini meet. We can all get the Kitchen sink and share.

Well, my dd (soon to be 19) will not need a GREEN shirt because she will be easy to spot....she has BLUE hair.



I am SOOOO embarrassed. I just hate to meet new people and introduce them to my blue haired daughter. She is a very nice and sweet girl and volunteered to be a guinea pig for a girlfriend's contest. Her friend is in beauty school and wanted to enter and enlisted my kid -- now Kim has blue hair, the contest is over, she didn't win.... and there you go.

So you will definitely spot us easily. I'll get the embarrassment overwith right now.

Blue hair isn't so bad....it could be worse. My dd is adopted and when we met her birht mom she had purple hair and the next time I saw her it was blue. I'm just waiting for the day my dd asks us if she can color her hair hot pink or something!!!!

You HAVE been out. We have a bunch of us going to Tequila Beach. Some of us are doing a snorkel from there, then back to the beach.

Go to this site and scroll down to see some pictures. The online booking is kinda confusing. You have to book the first adult and kids, the back up and add the second adult. Doogie researched it on the Cruise Critic boards and heard good things. And you MAY be interested in the OPEN BAR for $25.

Some other DIS'ers are going to see the ruins. But the Willster has seen enough ruins for the year, thank you very much!

At 2 p.m. November 17th Lampy is off work......on vacation stopping at the liquor store calling Theresa (04 sailor) for my second anual opening the top on a miller lite in the phone speaker, then calling Willie to make sure he knows.....maybe even a call to Julia is in order ......then the 10 mile ride home.....from there, I'M ON VACATION!!!! There will be no driving for Lampy 'till 11/28 Unless we forget our garment bag again and I have to drive back home after making it to Indy!!!

We were on the Hurricane Jeanne cruise, didn't get to CC and had to board at Fort Lauderdale. This photo was taken after the 4-1/2 hour bus ride, day after the hurricane had us trapped in our room at Port Orleans all day!

We're hoping this upcoming cruise will be just a bit more traditional!

Welcome to the group Gina and Tonya!! Our ds is 6 and we are travelling w/ my colleger roomie and her ds 10--there will be quite a few boys on the ship!!

Kris--we are hoping for smooth sailing--just like last year!! No more hurricanes!!

I agree w/ Willie--we have all seen enough "ruins" to last us awhile!!

Last year we were at the sailaway party on deck 10 w/ the turkey gang, are we going to try to do that again this year??

Happy Friday!! Tomorrow the Magic is supposed to be heading on a western and then the next western is our cruise!!!

Yes, the excursion at GC does include stingray city.

Doogie sent me a pic of deck 10 from last years Turkey Day cruise. It was 1st sea day and I was up on deck 10 reading. (Where I intend to go again this year) and 2 of the J's were out walking. So, John and Julia sat down and had a drink. I THINK it was a Mai Tai? (Help me here, Jules.) Well, then we ordered another. Then another. Before you know it. it was happy hour and two for one drink of the day, so how can you turn down 2 drinks of the day for $3.50?
Well, we had a great,great afternoon talking. Little did we know that Doogie was SPYING on us! Yes, his famous camera caught us by accident. Just like the poor lady whose bathing suit top happened to fall off at Cozumel!

So, here we are, violated, on deck 10!

John is the very white guy, I am sunglass guy, and Julia is the babe with her back to Doogie. I don't recognize the speedo guy next to John.

LOL!!! I am so happy that we all have kids to hang out together.

Last year, dh and I were all set to check out the bar (shoot me, I can't remember the name of the nightclub on the Wonder, yikes) having set up the kids with various things to do on their own. Lo and behold, just as we are about to enter, here is Lauren (age 13) behind us. Nothing to do...thought she'd hang out with Mom & Dad (SIGH!).

So, hopefully, this year that won't be a problem! I love my kids, but once in awhile some "adult" (tongue in cheek) time would be great!
