Doogie knows too. He was just trying to get me going. OK, Doogs. I deserved it for not warning you about loading up your speedo with chips. Won't you ever for get about that?

And this year, if there is some memorable scenery near Jackie, how about a heads up for a brother?

Willie- you know Doogie will "never have seconds"
He just won't share.

So not only do i need to give Lamps some "Culture" but you can use some also.

So this is how i will begin.....

Put your left arm out to your side...
Take your right arm and swing it in a large arc across your body....
and jump up into the air while doing the splits
Rotate your head wildly...
And sing at the top of you lungs...
PINBALL WIZARD!!!!! :rockband:

You will feel so good and you will make others feel good
also :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

(Notice no harm is done to Dogs, Wives, Girlfriends with missing teeth or Sisters, Brothers, and Many Cousins.) :disrocks:

I can't believe... I've been on-off these boards all night while doing other things. 10:00 and here I am again.

Yeah, I'll call a few brothers if I see a sight like that again.

To fill ya'll in... last year I took taking a picture of my wife at Paradise Beach in COZ. I was looking at the pictures over dinner (Pirate night) and whoa!!!, the young lady behind my wife in the pic didn't have part of her bikini on. :cool1: :rotfl2:

I swear, I never saw it when I took the pic :confused3 . Willie who was about 10 feet away all day, never saw it either. No, I'm not some crazed man... just Doogie; love my wife dearly; but oh-my, what a picture!

Hey Doog,
quit playing innocent
there is a reason why you kept that picture all year!
and why do you use the  in your post?

Enough...
Good night all

Hey, i am off to Louisville to play Customer Golf tomorrow
  Ya Hoo, Ya All!

DCL just posted excursions for Costa Maya.I am glad we made the ressies we did today.I think we will have a better time at the tequilla beach break.

DOOGIERUNNER-I know what you mean!I have been off and on Disboard all evening.I think I am just a little excited<G>!Thanks for the photo warning<G>!

Do a little dance, get down tonight. :cool1: Woop woop - The Heart of Dixie got their docs grove thing on today!!! So there is hope for the rest of you doc-less cruisers.

DW called the TA yesterday, and they said they received them this week from DCL and then they FEDEX'd them yesterday (after checking to make sure everything was okay) overnight. They were waiting for us when we got home from school.

5 O'Clock Somewhere - we definitely want to do a ruins tour. The web site info you sent looked great. Are you going to try and set up a tour soon? I'm sending an email to them to check on availability. DW just said DCL has excursions listed. One to Chacchoben and another to Kohunlich. I would prefer to do Kohunlich, but didn't want to set up on my own since it is farther and longer, and didn't want to risk missing the boat. But with DCL setting it up, they have to wait, right? I'm really a wuss when it comes to risking stuff like that, even if it saves some $$. What do you think, since you are a cruise veteran.

Yall are killin me! You don't know what a Honky Tonk is? I'll bet the Alabama Boy here on the Dis knows what a Tonk is! I guess it is a Southern thang!

OK, OK . A Honky Tonk is a just a red neck expression for a bar. When you go "Honky Tonkin", you are bar hopping. I was saying that we used to "go night clubbing". Only we don't call em bars or night clubs, they are all "Honky Tonks"

Willie
P.S. We WILL be a "cuttin tha rug" in the Honky Tonk on the Magic! I wonder if they have the Cotton Eyed Joe on CD onboard???? :rotfl2:

I've lived in Texas all my life, and had to ask what bars and nightclubs were. Until someone told me 'they're honky-tonks.' :rotfl2: Okay, well not really. But I even remember the Stones' 'Honky-Tonk Woman' song when I was in grade school. (Okay now I'm giving away my age.) :rotfl:

Hey Willie, I wish they'd have the Cotton-Eyed Joe song at one of the deck parties. I like it even better than the Chicken Dance and the Macarena!

does anyone know for the Tequila Beach Club if they book as many people that want to or do they fill up?

We tried to contact David and Ivan via email..no response yet. We really would prefer to go with them but if we don't hear back soon, we are going to book with DCL. We don't like pushing for time either....with the K ruins...we don't want to miss Pirate Night. You guys please join us if you wish. Thanks so much for telling us about DCL posting excursions...they told us over the phone that they were not going to be able. Due to so many other cruise ships being there, they must have realized it would be slim pickins..

I also wondered about self planned vs DCL excursions.....I saw horse back riding excursion through an independent group before DCl posted excursions... The excursion is now double the price through DCl .. Any thoughts from cruise veterans...... Pam

Just returned from DS's boy scout raingutter regatta ( wood sailboat race). While I was there, I thought how it seemed an approriate way to mark the 3 week mark... little sailboats to get me in the mood especially since it is 50 degrees and very windy here.... As my ears were freezing and I could barely drink my coffee because my hands were shaking, I just saying to myself- 21 days, 21 days. :cool1: Pam

I have a question for those with kids that have cruised before....can you leave your kids in the kids club when you dock in different ports? From the DCL website I couldn't tell if it was an option only at CC or everywhere. We can't snorkel with DD but DS can so we either have to take turns or not go at all and it's my one thing I have to do on this trip!!!! Thanks!!!

Dena

Dena:
You can leave your kids on the boat when in the different ports. We did stingray city in Cayman and the cozumel beach break last time we cruised. They give you pagers at the clubs, but not sure if they work to far off the boat. :confused3

Thanks for bringing this up. I hadn't thought about it. That definitely makes it a lock for Chacchoben. If you hear from the tour guides, let me know, and I'll do the same if I hear from them.

It will be cheaper to go direct, versus thru DCL. It's $43 per person direct and $60 something thru DCL. I guess you pay for "peace of mind." Plus I can use my Disney Rewards Dollars thru DCL.

We are really starting to "ping" here. We watched the DCL promotional DVD again last night (and laughed at the people sprinting around the promenade). The only time I'm going to move that fast is when they announce "The dessert buffet is now open." :rotfl2: Starting to work on some pirate costume ideas.

Welcome nrk!

Are you traveling solo?

Welcome to the craziest  bunch (and funnest) group of DIS cruisers yet! :cool1:

WOW...I just got back from Columbus, for my daughter's Dance competition (which her dance team won first place, Ya Hoo!!), and there are several post I had to back and read them all...you guys are on the computer way too much...pretty soon we will need a support group of DIS board addict, if you know what I mean. :rotfl:

Anyway...I will send more pixie dust :wizard: to Flectch88 and favoriteslave...so they're on the way to your place...You should get it by Monday....if not...let me know, and I'll give you extra strength pixie dust :wizard: :wizard: Double dose.

NRK- Welcome Aboard :boat: again?? I don't remember you, if you were on earlier in the year....we kind of disappear because too busy with work and all. Can't wait to meet you.

I think I'm going to call DCL about our dinner ressies to make sure we are on the same loop.

Anyway....gotta make that phone call.

Welcome Nrk!

We are having a nice relaxing Saturday.I have a lot to do,but I am still managing getting on here.Yes,I am just a little bit excited<G>.

I need to get DH to do us something for our cabin door.I am so pc illiterate.

cody'smom-It has been breezy here in Gainesville all week.I look out my window, and I see the pumpkins and ghosts on my trees just dancing away. The weather is nice here lately. No humidity, and highs in mid 70s.Sending you warmer weather!

Goofyhouk-Congratulations to you and family on getting your docs!

A question to those in the know.

We are driving across on I-10. Is it better to take I-75 to the turnpike, or go to I-95 (via 295 around Jax)? I haven't been on I-95 for ages, and I don't know which route is more convenient to the port. We'll be hitting I-95 on Saturday morning.

Paul Goofyhouk

Will do Goofyhouk! Are there 4 of you too?
I was thinking I'd go ahead & book the same tour w/ DCL in case Ivan & David didn't have room, then cancel if they do...at least we'll get to go. But for some reason, I can't get the DCL website to let me book it. Surely THEY'RE not full already!!! Anybody else having issues trying to book adventures on line??
