to my knowledge my parents and I still aren't officially 'linked' with the dining crew. my reservation on the official site still says main dining

I bought a small t-shirt and to be honest didn't even try it on b/c it looked plenty roomy for me. i just washed and dryed and folded it, added it to my 'to be packed' pile! I wear small t-shirts from WDW without any problems but I do have two t-shirts from the Disney Store that are snug. go figure. see this is why us women have such size complexes.

Julia i second and third those WOWSERS!! that room is way coooool!!!

Say, Doogie...if you are staying at Marriot at Orlando airport...are you in on that Friday? We will be in late Friday, like around 10:30pm staying at La Quinta. What time will you be there?

Julia ::MinnieMo

I think our flight gets in around 10pm.

Thanks for the link Julia!
Unfortunately the site w/ either down, or no longer there. Followed it back to the Disboards via Yahoo, but no luck there either...Anybody have a list of their own to recommend?? The big one I'm looking for gave the great tips we're following like getting a roll-on cooler that looks like a suitcase. For our flight we'll use as a padded stash for our carry-ons/Cameras. Once we land in Orlando, we'll fill it w/ a case of water, then use it for souvenirs once the trip is done. :flower:

Very nice painting!!!

Thanks again!

Tri-circle-D: I think you said earlier the T-shirts run large. Like WDW run large? I usually wear an XL, but a WDW XL T-shirt swims on me, so I get L there. I don't want a skin-tight shirt, but I also don't want sleeves down to my elbows. :( I know we will want 4 shirts, but will wait for your (or other knowledgable parties) input. :rolleyes1

I would say that the XL's do look like big XL's the larges and mediums look more like what you would typically see. That is the best that I can do with this question. I am a man. Maybe one of the ladies in the group could provide better insight. What is wrong with skin tight t-shirts? it works for Simon Cowel. :earboy2:

Hey Andrew!
Please order for the "Poole Party" kids 2- size 14/16. That's probably Youth XL or Adult Sm.??
Thanks so much for the extra orders...looks like you'll make that 100 number. DH won't wear lime, but my kids will...my 11yr. old DS possibly as a 'do-rag' on his head, but he's in the spirit!! :earboy2:

The T-shirts are nice; I want to order 4. I need the following:

1 shirt - adult large for myself.
2 shirts - either adult small or child large.
(both Missy and Catherine are about the same size - about 5 foot nothing so an adult small can be too big on them. If you think the t-shirts run big than give me two child large.

1 shirt for little Sarah who is around 30" tall so I guess the smaller the better.

BTW... can you get the T-shirts updated to read Costa Maya instead of Cozumel??? ;)

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff- I am glad that you will be joining the trendsetters with the lime green t-shirts! I have a 14 year old DD, who looks like she is about the same size as your DD. I got her a Youth Large. Now she is threatening not to wear it, but that should pass. As far as a size for your younger DD, these are screened shirts, so there would be a cost involved with reducing the size of the design. They told me that the smallest they could go with the existing design is a youth medium. That will probably still be really big on your little one. There would be the same issue with changing Cozumel to Costa Maya. I guess these will be worth more money as collectibles now because they give the wrong port. :rolleyes1 Let me know what you would like to do.

John and Julia, Thanks for tracking down Iceman Family. Glad to hear they already have power back!

Regarding Costa Maya- The Miller Family would like to go on record as saying we have NO desire to see ANY RUINS! We have seen enough ruins for this year! But we would love to get many DIS'ers together at one of the beaches.

OK, we will own the ship on November 19! It's our ship, everyone else is just along for the ride. So far, since yesterday, there are 28 more shirts ordered!
Just a few more, and we will have over 100 total! Yikes!

Here is what I have so far-please check your order and make sure that I got it right. I will probably update this list on Sunday night or Monday morning. For those of you on the fence, and I know you are out there, the last chance to order will be Nov. 1 at 9 am:

Pam251-8 shirts: 2XL, 4L, 1S, 1YM
Zeke11-2 shirts: 1L, 1YM
Judynpa-2 shirts: 1XXL, 1XL
Favoriteslave- 3 shirts: 1XL, 1L, 1M
Cody'smom- 3 shirts: 1 XL, 1L, 1M
Buddybear-4 shirts: 1XL, 2YL, 1YM
Goofhouk- 4 shirts: need sizes
5 O'clock- 2 shirts: 2YL

Please note, that the smallest they can go with the shirts is a youth medium.

Do they have cherry coke? I'm already planning to bring diet dr pepper, but may have to bring dr pepper for DD if there isn't cherry coke. I may also have to bring some diet A&W so I can have a "brew" with the Miller-lite guys. :drinking1

No, cherry coke is not available.

So you're DD is a Dr. Pepper fan too? We've brought our own Dr. Pepper on the past two cruises. (Can't fathom a whole week without it now. We did without the first time, and it was tough! LOL!)

Andrew,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, many times the 20 month old is easier to deal with than the pre-teen :) Sarah has worn big T-shirts before and they look cute on her. The order is correct except for mine, I wear a Large not an XL.

Thanks,

Jeff

I talked to DCL this morning. They are saying that we are docking in Costa Maya at 10:30 a.m. and departing at 10 p.m. (but that this was not set in stone)

I don't know about anyone else, but we have scheduled the Royal Swim with Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel and have found out that they are offering a Royal Swim in Puerto Aventuras which is m/l 40 miles to the North of where we will be docking. Could I get some feedback as to whether this would be a good idea or not? And if anyone else WAS going to do the Royal Swim?

Tonya,

I would be leary of going 40 miles from the ship for any excursion, unless it is DCL sponsored. If you cannot make it back, the ship will not wait for you. And there are many things that could happen to keep you away! They will, however wait for you if it is booked through DCL. Does anyone know if DCL has listed their shore excursions?

Willie

I read on Timon's live trip report that Castaway Cay suffered some damage, but they were hoping to have it cleaned up for this Friday's docking. Also, the Stingrays had to be released when the storm hit so the Stingray excursion at Castaway Cay is cancelled until they come back on their own. I know you guys have a group going in GC, but thought the others might like to know.

I wouldn't mind helping you make your numbers on the 100 or more, but I kind of feel like a party crashes with it being our first trip and all

Yogamomme: I have never met a single person going on this cruise. My family and I have been on one previous Disney Cruise- a four night Wonder cruise last year. This is a new cruise for all of us- some people know each other and some don't. I am looking forward to making new friends. If you want to join the gang, then come on!

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Yogamomme: This is our first Disney cruise also, but I've never heard of DISers being the subject of a CSI espisode, so I think they must be pretty safe. :grouphug: Go ahead and keep the rest of us first timers company.
