GOT OUR DOCS HERE IN MINNESOTA! They came today via UPS. My parents live in Virginia but theirs came here too accidentally since my son is booked in their room... whoops, hope they aren't annoyed about that.

Did anyone notice that the luggage tags match our t-shirts? It's a sign I tell ya!

Yogamomme, please jump right in!! I am a DIS newbie too but everyone has made me feel welcome and we ordered the shirts for our family -- it will be especially great for the kids to have someone to talk to right away. I think the more the better, because if there is a sea of lime green I won't feel so self-conscious about wearing it -- with these numbers, pretty soon the people who aren't wearing them will be the ones feeling self-conscious, LOL.

Also please post your "real" first name so that I don't call you Yogamomme all through the cruise!

OK, we will own the ship on November 19! It's our ship, everyone else is just along for the ride. So far, since yesterday, there are 28 more shirts ordered!
Just a few more, and we will have over 100 total! Yikes!

I wouldn't mind helping you make your numbers on the 100 or more, but I kind of feel like a party crashes with it being our first trip and all

This is our 2nd cruise, didnt do the T-day cruise last year, and the 8 shirts I ordered are great. Go for it! I have not met any of the other T-day Disers. I am looking forward to meeting everyone, except Ron (Lampskies) since all I will hear about is the white sox. Congrats to Ron and the other sox fans on the board.

for $25 it's open bar (frozen drinks and ICE COLD BEER). Kids are $15. Claiming that it is less crowded than the other beach bars. Includes chairs and has a freshwater shower and bathroom facilities. 4 minutes from port.

okay, okay, you've all talked me into it...besides DS favorite color is GREEN!!!

I will need an adult small, a XXL if they have it (DH is 6'3" and 300 lbs), and for kids, a medium (he is usually size 8-10) and then a small or even xs if avail for the little princess. let me know when, where and how much $$$ to send.

I thought the dune buggy excusrsion on CM looked kind of fun. It's hard for us with a 5 yr. gap in the kids ages so we have to find something we can all do.

Wondering...do you usally book your excursions before you leave or can I wait until onboard???

Congrats to the Sox fans....I'm personally an Angels fan so I was bummed, but better the Sox than the Yanks... r the other Sox

I haven't done my homework, but is DCL going to have any excursions in Costa Maya for which we can sign up? That one would be fun, and I can see many of us here wanting to have another DISmeet there!

OK, So my nose started growing, but for the most part, after the first night last year i said to Julia: We are with my people"
That is, everyone else likes the way the MOUSE Company takes care of their guest. We are DVC'ers, Lived(Vacationed) at WDW for about 17 times in the last 10 years. (and never had an issue that the Mouse could not solve)
And we keep returning.

Do you want a PM with our addresses? I originally thought about just getting them from you at the port, but hey, I want to STAND OUT at the get-go. Might as well get the people started talking early.

What time are people planning to get to the port? We leave from Montgomery Friday after school (probably around 4:30). We plan to drive to Lake City, spend the night, and finish up in the morning. I understand we should plan to arrive around 10:30 so we can get on the boat with the rope drop. I want to get my money's worth, ya know. We leave Montgomery 3 weeks from tomorrow!

we'll be arriving in Orlando around 10pm Friday night and are staying at the Sheraton. I'm hoping to get an early shuttle but won't know until we get our docs I guess?!?!?

I don't usually wear t-shirts but we will be decked out....I may do some minor alterations to mine and DD depending on how they fit.

Newbies welcome to the cruise.Not much longer now!Three weeks!This is my first time cruising with this great Turkey Week Cruise Gang,and we are excited.We can't wait.We have cruisee Disney three times,but never during a holiday week.

TanaL-Congrats on your docs.I love new look of the docs.There isn't as much paper like last time,and one book for the whole family.

We haven't decided what we are going to do in Costa Maya yet.I was hoping Disney would list their excursions on the site,but they haven't.The beach club looks great though.

ok, now who's taking the reins for our Costa Maya beach day? i will need to talk with DH about this and if we just want to wing it that day or have something booked. Gina I liked the looks of the one you posted there; but being a cruise newbie myself i'm not anxious to choose one of the couple offered as to know which is better?

dena -- i don't know these looney-toons here either well after next weekend we'll know a couple. our family has gone on a 4 day Wonder in 12/03, this is our first 7 day Magic cruise. like everyone already said, just jump in! we're like family

someone mentioned a royal swim - we are mourning the loss of that excursion as well.....................i feel your pain

ok here' s my question -- while in Mexico -- do you all feel confident eating food prepared there? not to sound over the top, but you know, the water? i'm assuming these cruise port places cater to tourists so they use bottled water? if we did that beach day excursion, would you be ordering lunch or go back onboard for lunch? or bring sammichs/wraps from the ship?

i hate to even ask the cooler question? i'm planning on taking a soft-sided one on a shoulder strap - that size. we have frig medication so having one it's a problem for us, but personally i don't see the need to lug around this soft-sided cooler on wheels (my other option)

Julia - I know how you feel, my whole family has been battling upper resp this week - by DD kicked it of last friday and since I stayed home with her I was next in line.... on antibiotics but not feeling much better --- the good thing though is it is better now than on the cruise! Get Better!

Maria - I read several places that DCL will not offer to us Costa May excursions --- at least one person in our group also posted this info!

Molli - I'm more concerned than I was when I went to Cancun as this is very much more undeveloped, however, in cruising for Costa info I've read about many people claiming this restaurant is better than that... and haven't read anyone claiming illness ... I would only drink bottled water though that's for sure - but better yet alcohol kills all germs!!!

Whoops - I almost forgot my own question

Since I read that the one beach bar in Costa Maya doesn't take Credit Cards --- can anyone tell me how prevalent that is?? I really wasn't planning on take much more cash than the handful of ones for miscellaneous tipping, etc.
