OK, so we finally start getting mail delivered, and I see this big important looking envelope from Ohio..... HMMMMM. Who do I know from Ohio????
Open er up, and there is the COOLEST DOOR SIGN! Custom made for my family from the coolest DIS friend!

It has Captain Mickey and Minnie, and says

"We survived RITA----Day by Day Dreaming of MAGIC!"

And the Most Talented MOLLI sent it to us! Thank you Molli for the big smile my girls are gonna have this afternoon when they see it. Of course they will want it for THEIR door onboard, so I will have to make something up for Kelli and my door. You are too cool. I will post a picture of it when I can.

Doogie- Erin said you saved her life when she was throwed from the banana! I told her a Texas girl that rides horses should be able to not be bucked from a banana!

Here is our storm update. I stayed home from the office yesterday and let Kelli run things. We have cleaned up alot, and have alot more to go. Just when I had the front yard looking decent the tree trimmer guys came by trimming around the lines and filled up my front yard with newly trimmed limbs. Oh well.
Got my Mom's house cleaned up. She had a good sized limb on her roof, but luckily it did minimal damage. She lives on my property, about 40 yards behind my house. (We live on 8 acres.)

Got the swimming pool going 24/7 til it is no longer the color of our DIS shirts!

Cleaned out the hot tub and will refill this weekend. I may be able to plunk my big self in there this weekend and crank up Molli's CD's! Of cousre, that will be after soccer(start back this weekend) and more tree cutting!

I have one thing to ask. (What Erin always asks when we travel.)

willie -- glad you liked it and it arrived in one piece! actually I have a second magnetic door sign and you can have it too! i forgot you had two staterooms, the first one didn't print quite as nicely (that darn line!) but i saved it and i'll bring it with me for your other door! it's exactly the same -- hang yours on your frig to keep you going after those long days of cleanup -- i admire you all so much for all you have faced and been through and yet it will not keep you down!

*edited to add -- did you find your Yankee car jars? just so you didn't miss them! i have Island Mango in my van and it makes me smile

tri-circle-D -- if it helps for shipping costs and you can ship the 5Js and my order together to arrive before nov 3 that would be an option. we are meeting that weekend, well if it's ok with the 5Js

mickeyhugger -- shoes?? SHOES?? funny you mention shoes as i find myself more and more into shoes. must be all those what not to wear shows. I have purchased two dress shoes and one new sparkly lime green flip-flops. i bought another pair of flip-flops too but i've decided they can stay home now. my Mom found really cheap over the door shoe organizers from the dollar store and bought, but we were disappointed they aren't see-through to use an a bathroom organizer. soo--- we kept them for shoes, imagine that i have two shoe organizers for our closet for all our shoes! hey, we have three ladies in our room! my youngest DD will probably take as many or more shoes than I! that is my fashion queen who actually has What Not to Wear and How Do I Look programmed to record in our digital cable box! yes, she's 8

YES, I did find the air fresheners! And believe me, my truck can use some air freshener. It has a musty smell from the rains. And it just plain needs washing! I have not yet opened the Ocean Water.
The girls are really gonna love this.

One set of documents is missing--I'm so glad there is so much time before the cruise to deal with that...

It makes is seem so much more real!

Do you seasoned cruisers think it odd that they are arriving so early? I read about many worried people who have not received theirs and it is less than two weeks to sailing!

Heart - did you book directly with DCL? I did.

No one ever answered the FedEx question... do they come via FedEx?

Whoo Hoo, Documents arrived tonight in Connecticut
We used Dreams Unlimited Travel, but docs came right from Disney. They are in this neat little plastic folder with new luggage tags (lime green) like the airlines use (adhesive). Will be hard to scrapbook

I've been home sick on the couch with a cold and no one else in my family has one. I'm usually the last one to get sick. Isn't there a saying that mom's aren't allowed to get sick? Kids were home from school today for Yom Kipper so they made a countdown chain. We've had rain for over a week now and sun isn't in the forecast until Sunday or Monday. Ugh!

WOW, I can't believe it is so close that the documents are going out!! How exciting!!!

Here is the sign I'm working on for my parents... whaddoyathink? It's just my first try, but Molli making that sign for Willie got me motivated to work on it.

Just what I thought....Just like fashion trends, it takes ten years for anything to happen in Cincinnati...well I hope it comes in this weekend...we did DCL also...so, it should come very soon

I tell ya what...I can't wait to get on that CRUISE...I wanna, dine, wine, dance, laugh, swim, laugh, play cards, soak up alot of sun, laugh, beers, etc....I'M READY ...because right now I'm killing my body from standing on a scaffold up above fourteen feet high and while I'm trowling plaster on walls...I'm now stiff, sore, aching, tired and all I'm thinking at this very moment is dine, wine, dance, laugh, swim...and so does thousand others do too...you get the picture....
...I'm sorry...please somebody smack me!!! I feel for the people who are single parents...I don't know how ya do it...but since Monday, my DH has been out of town on business and he will be back till Saturday evening...dealing with teenagers, you think it would be easy...but they drive you @!#%*?

Anyway, enough of that! I'm glad Willie and his family are just about settling their home and getting things to normal. What a great gift from Molli....great ideas!!

OKAY...THAT'S IT...I won the lottery and I'm inviting everyone on this thread to come to our house and have a pre-cruise party...everybody gets to make their door sign...like doing scrapbooking. Hehehe...I've always wanted to say that...sorry...I didn't win the lottery...but wouldn't that be great. Well, Molli...You got me motivated. I'm going to make myself two of the door signs. That picture is pretty cool. You did great!!

And, Oh...Molli....we don't mind paying the shipping cost for the shirts...just let us know if you get it in.

I guess asking about how you made them would be kind of pointless since I am without a color printer!

And my big old Eagles magnet will have to suffice! At least my kiddos will know which room is ours!

They are beautiful though and Molli yes that was soooo nice of you!

But HEY where are my docs??????????? hmmm are they going west to east... are they going from z to a?

and are they coming fedex or usps? with all this rain if anyone puts anything in my mailbox it'll be sog city by the time I get home tomorrow... I was kinda hoping for today since my kids had off any I was home 1/2 the day (the mail half was mine!)...

Okay - I admit reading these last few posts are getting me EXCITED - and I am suppose to be already excited -right ?

When I was just visiting Molli and family whenever we were in her van I got a "whiff" of that tropical island "smell" (yankee car scent) and it was like "oh - yeah - that reminds me of some kind of fu-fu drink I'll be enjoying and I have one of those cd's too with the steel drum music - gotta fire that up this weekend !

Julia - Since I am just "up the road" - we better be getting our docs at the same time - say like SOON! Even DH (Dan) is starting to make comments about the cruising time - that is a good sign Saturday is almost here - hope you survive TGIF with the kido's

I'm off - gotta get in some exercise - still trying to lose a few pounds so that I can gain them again on the cruise - just planning ahead - I can't get on the boat with clothes that are snug - then I would have to take too many things - things that fit the first couple of days and things that fit after a few really good meals

Congratulations to all those that received their docs.We haven't received ours and we are in FL.We booked through DCL too.Watch us Floridians get them last<G>.

We have company this weekend as dh's brother and family will be here for parents weekend at UF,and inlaws are coming.I won't be on here much unless I sneak in.Everyone have a great weekend!

Allexcitedgrammy: Your right! We better have them by then...it would be fun to sit around and go through them and talk all night.

I think I found a cheap flight to Orlando, RT through Bestfares has a great deal and I have to call this morning to book it...hopefully it's not going to increase by the time I call. I would have to drive to Indy, which it's worth it.(only 2 hr drive). I'm thinking maybe go in on Friday night so that we can stay at a hotel. We have never done that on other two times we cruise with Disney. For those who are staying at a hotel, where are you staying at? I know some of you have mentioned on other post, but I'm too lazy to go back and find out.
