Well, the next thing we can get excited is getting the traveling stuff in the mail....do any of you remember about how close to the date we got the mail?
I think it was a least 3weeks. Oh, I can't wait.

greetings to my fellow cruisers!

i'm feeling like a teeter-totter. one minute i'm giddy and ready to 'splode with cruising excitedness; the next i'm stressed out about all that i want to have done b4 we go!

scrapbooking -- last friday night i went to a crop with a creative memories consultant and i agree! i get more done at times with friends who keep me focused! i'm working my 2003 family album, am wayyyyy far behind on my DDs albums and getting ready to do an 8 x 8 album for a gift for my SIL for a party she just had; then another 8 x 8 album of my 1/2 marathon WDW trip. of course when I come home i'll be super focused on a cruise album! i don't think i bought more than maybe 1-2 of the scrapbooking packs at WDW/DCL. I would suggest you scoop out your local scrapbook store, Joanns, and maybe www.mousememories.com for what is easily available b4 the cruise and shopping for supplies there. Disney scrapbook packs are relatively new and IMHO not the cutest. but great for specific disney phrases and logos from the parks, autographs, etc

Hi Molli,

I bought a package set of Disney Cruise for scrapbook from last year's cruise. Great package but haven't used it yet and I'm so behind. IF I could have an open weekend to do just one album, I would be excited. uhmmmmm, someday...

Looking forward to meeting you all on Nov. 6th. It's going to be a lot of fun.

First, Julia, have you settled on travel plans yet? I saw this AM Air Tran (Dayton) $89 on the 18th (early flight) that leg is very reasonable!! looked like coming back on the 26th lowest price was $167 - I just saw the price didn't look at times, etc but wanted to pass along the $89 - just in case it worked.

Okay - I am trying to get back into the "work" mode this morning - had Monday off as holiday took yesterday off as a "just needed an extra day" and was visiting my FAVORITE DD and her family. (ohMom - Molli) for those who didn't remember and yes she is our only daughter but hey - she read that favorite and is smiling )

We did some cruise talk (w-eeee-llllllll OF COURSE) and I saw the preview of DD's wardrobe - outfit for date night at Apollo is... well let's just say her DFather will probably have a couple of comments (she is still is "little" girl" you know) and I'm sure she is glad that he has no "censoring" rights or just maybe, she wouldn't be wearing that dress

For me, still just thinking it's a long time and I have plenty of time to get it together.......... actually, my inner conversation over and over is "after you packed, take out one-half of it" now it's the one-half that comes out that I am thinking ~ BUT, I just MAY NEED this! I really do want a different "inner conversation" ....I think I'll work on that

Julia-I saw buddy bear somewhere on main DCL Disboard.I wonder what happened.They are probably just busy.You know you didn't have to rub in November 6<G>.I wish we could be there.Is it at your place?If it is,I will just call you and crash it<VBG>.I wish we could be there

Molli-That mouse memories site is awesome.Now,that makes me want to scrapbook.I haven't been to any creative memories srapbooking get togethers.I hear they are fun.I am with you.I overpack get some out,and overpack again.DH is always teasing me about it.He is always saying you packed your whole closet as it feels like it<G>.He is so bad.

DH was saying the docs usually come two weeks before cruise.Three weeks sounds better.We will surely be on here letting you all know when we get ours,and please vice versa.We will have to do doc dance!

Okay - okay - okay - SENIOR MOMENT but there is a "club" close to our house that is called Apollo - I must have "mentally" seen that sign ???? Well, sounds like a good explanation anyway

Had to "run" home at lunch to confirm that I could sign in as me and why I was logged in as ohMom this AM. Got it figured out and I surely hope that I don't embarrass my dd again Note that I didn't promise..............just a hope!!!

Hello all- I just wanted to let you know that our t-shirts are ordered, and should be done some time late next week. Once I get them, I will let you know, and any one who wants me to ship them theirs can PM their address to me. I'm not sure what the most economical way to send these would be-if anyone has a suggestion, let me know. Again, if anyone just wants me to bring the shirts to the port, I'll do that too. Hopefully we will be there early and in line to board as soon as we are able. I'll be the guy in the special Thanksgiving Magic Cruise lime green t-shirt. Ooops, I guess there will be 60 of us wearing those!

Have any of you read about the dry-dock changes. We will be among the first to enjoy dive in movies on the big screen out by the Goofy pool! I can't wait!

Well, if we've already received ours, that should be a good sign for everyone else here. I can't wait to keep reading to see who else will soon be doing the docs happy dance.

I got so excited, I tried on two dresses (again, for the umpteenth time. Let's see, maybe I'll wear this for pirate night..I could wear this to Palo..hmmm.) I'm driving Rob crazy, LOL!

We had an ongoing joke on our other cruise meets thread (when we sailed last year) about shoes. One husband was talking about trying to find room for the 60 pairs his wife and daughters were taking! I've learned from the last cruise that I don't need as many flip-flops as I thought. But, do any of you ladies tend to want to overpack the shoes?

Thanks for asking, I am still here. I think I spend more time reading than posting.

I am happy for those who are doing the Doc Dance!! I transferred my reservation to AllSeasons so I imagine we will see ours shortly.

Yes, the reality is setting in. We are almost 5 weeks away and can't wait to see the new updates from Drydock.

Well, another hard day to work...my right hand is developing some blisters from trowling...I'm doing venecian plastering for a client and it's a huge room and a little over 14 feet high....yep...I gotta get on those scaffold...fun fun fun.

Mickeyhugger-I have to admit I overpack a little bit of everything.I told myself not this time.We will see when it actually comes to packing.In December,we left home the same day we sailed out which gave me an extra day to pack some more.Not this time as we are leaving Friday night.I am so happy you got your docs.You watch us in FL may not get ours till the last minute.Did you book through DCL or travel agent?We booked through DCL.
