November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

We were on a Princess cruise in June a few yrs ago and had rain on and off for a couple of days. Nothing really bad, just summer showers. The pool area had a retractable cover so you swim even if it was raining.

But nothing beats a Disney cruise.

Last T-day, I was running on deck 4 early in the morning... (Lamps and John you were still in bed sweating foam from the prior days Miller Lites and breathing heavily dreaming of the Go-Go's ). There was a storm that I was sure we were going to hit. The ship turned and went around the storm front. Yes we did get some rain, but the sun kept shining. Only Disney . Ya'll gonna' love this group of folks! I love reading the posts.

The days are warm and sunny here! Time continues to fly by. I hate getting older but look forward to each year when we CRUISE

We're heading to see Kenny Chesney this weekend. Anyone ever been? Comments?

Bad news cruise buddies--we had to cancel our cruise for Turkeyday. It was a hard decision for us, but it just did not work out. Will miss you all--all you bunnies and newbies, the turkeys are fun to be with. That cruise was one of our best vacations ever.

Silver....not going?? We still have 7 months to get ya back.... Our only "travel agent" must go!!! Think of how much worse you will feel when I call you Thursday before at 2 popping that first vacationbeer......oooooooo I got goose bumps...

Doogie.....you were sadly mistaken, I was on my verandah practicing my best Ron Bon Jovi waiting for our Palo ressies getting ready for the Donna Summer songs the next night....LOL

Bill....there ARE no "rules" around the Lampy (and Willie if he ever comes back.....we are losing some Texans)....just that you stay in the "upright" position and downing some cold ones with good friends....

Thanks Willie!!!!!!!! Yep, ran to the bank this morning and finished up on the "boat" deal and popped the first on at 10:30 with top down and "Willie tunes" jammin'........Wednesday is my day off.....Kim is "scrappin' at the local store kids are at school and me and dog threw a line in the water earlier.....I starting to like it Willie....but all that work once you catch something....so for the rest of the day I'm just tying a weight to the end of the leader and casting.....

Doogie........I got a stainless steel "beer fridge" for behind the bar....it looks like one of the icecream freezers that you open from the top....so 650 in the pop machine in the front of the house and 54 at a time on the pier!!!!
