Two wins, and half (south half) of Chicago thinks it is a lock. Don't drink the coolade too fast. Willie's Astros can always make a run.

Hey Willie....it's that "cub fan" doing the "cherpin'". LOL Remember me saying that Costa Maya was a definate for our sailing? Only I was told it was replacing GC not Cozumel :rotfl2: 1 1/2 hours to d-day.....and miller time......time to scoot out of work early!!!!

Hi everyone,

And especially our new cruises.

As far as a DIS meet, I recommend that deck 10 port side is the best. Seems this is where all the beginning DIS meets start from, except when we all meet at the terminal while in line. We can then pick time and days for future meets. Willie's list sounds perfect. I know alot of us met at the DVC meet and also The Castaway party also.

Then at Club after dinner for the shows, we tried to sit near each other.

The last night we met at Diversion and had a blast. We ended up closing the place.

As far as coz.. Photo 2 is of the Disney dock, I remember the long walk and the buildings at the end of the pier where we caught the tour buses. What a shame. Those poor people. Tourism is all they have and it is now destoryed.

Kris, Maybe Molly can still get more tee shirts made, It's a shot.

And as far as Birthdays, mine is the 20th of Dec, but the 25th sure has me beat.

I hope everyone received their copy of the updated spread sheet. I have received a few updates and will send those out seperately.

Have a magical evening everyone.

Willie -

I told Lauren (my dd) that the shirts were specially made and I didn't order them. Folks, the reason I didn't order them was because I was about 99% sure that my teens and husband would absolutely refuse to wear them. And would be mortified if I did.

Well, that 1% came through last night when my dd, Lauren, said that SHE WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY WORN A GREEN T-SHIRT.

Kris

Kris- Since we have had a bunch of folks suddenly jump on this thread with us, I am willing to take a stab at trying to order another batch of t-shirts. The order ended up being for 63 shirts. The cost came out to $6.00 per shirt plus shipping. The US Postal Service impressed me with the shipping. I took the shirts in to my local post office, and they supplied me with the shipping materials to send the shirts by express mail. Thanks for suggesting this Mickeyhugger. That was this past Saturday, and folks started receiving their shirts yesterday! My digital camera is currently not working, so if anybody can post a photo of the actual shirts, please do so. I think that they came out great, and they are a bargain at $6.00. If there is enough interest, I will see what I can do about placing another order. I think that this can be done. I am not sure that they will give me the same price. The family that owns the shop has a daughter that went to high school with my DW, and they cut me a deal.

Willie-Thanks for the advice.I called up my uncle, and he was going to do like you suggested. It is so sad to hear what this year's hurricanes have done to so many people as well as states. It is so devastating!I hope and pray Wilma was the last one for the year.Thank you!

Ken-Thanks for the spreadsheet.I printed it out,and I will take a copy of it it with us.

Lampskies-The Dismeets sound great. We are looking forward to it.Deck 10 port side is the best.We love that area. That is usually where we stand too as we leave port.

Well,we are going to Costa Maya.Any excursion ideas? We aren't sure what we are going to do there? Those of you that have gone there what do you recommend.

I am so ready for this criuse.I am glad we are still going on the Western.

Maria

Hi Andrew -

Just let me know where to send the $$$$ if you are up to having more shirts made. I don't want to impose as I know it was quite a project to take on and I feel like a goof for missing the boat ;) the first time around. If it turns into too much of a deal for you to do one or two more, I perfectly understand!!

Thank you so much!

Kris

Kris- Tell me how many and what sizes you would like. I'll start another list, and see what I can do.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot    We had a visit from the UPS man here in west central Florida this afternoon.

Congrats Tri-Circle-D but how could you almost forget when there are still some of us longing to see that big brown truck!!!

Anyone have any thoughts as to whether DCL would change our itinerary so that we'd have more time in Grand Cayman as it would appear that there is more to do there?

Sherri :wave2:

and P.S. what does this little guy mean by this statement: Hi! My name is Coyá and I’ll help you to choose your tour.
(Tours and prices depend on each Cruise Lines.)

Hello everyone and Welcome Aboard, Favoriteslave :boat: :wave2:

WOW, I have been gone since this morning and there's a lot to catch up. :goodvibes

Doogie-Well, Casper finally showed up!! :teeth: Lampy is always on the run on weekends...hmmm, always having fun. So nice to hear from you Lampy...John and I will have a bottle of wine waiting for you...hehehe.

Pam251-I have a DD who's birthday is on the 25th of Nov. also...she will turn 13. My last child turning a teen...boohoo :sad1: We are on the same floor you are. Our room number is 2052 & 2054. We have several DIS'ers on our floor. THIS IS GONNA BE FUN!!! :jumping1:

Maria-How is your uncle doing? This is something...I hope you all don't have anymore of these crazy hurricanes for a long time. Keep us posted.

Faoriteslave-So....how cheap were your flights??? Just curious :hyper2:

Zeke-LOL...it was one of my DD that mentioned about the Tshirts...that was cute. Either one of my DD's would not say who mentioned it...a little embarrassed. I hope Andrew has good news once he finds out if he can still order. We like to keep you all in the loop.
:grouphug:

Iceman-we are thinking of you guys...hope to hear from you soon. You are in our prayers.

So, we might be going to Casta Maya...any suggesstions??? :p

Lampy....I look up the website for Costa May Excursions...The Beach Party looks and sounds great...Open Bar?!!!! But I wonder how the beach is since Wilma came through? or did it ever get near it.

Julia ::MinnieMo

i'll see your child's December birthday and raise you about 12 days -- my youngest Paige will be 9 on 12/25

I have a DD who's birthday is on the 25th of Nov. also...she will turn 13

Okay, now is this getting out of control.... My DD who is now apparently joining us, will be 14 on 12/22
Combine that with DS b'day 12/13, anniversary 12/21, Christmas 12/25 and that makes for a busy, expensive Decmeber- good thing the cruise is in November!!! :cool1: No Docs today, but a lot of cold rain!!!

We are definitely interested in shirts- let me know!!! Thanks

Just found out DS has a boy scout field trip on November 19, so I guess I'll have to rub it in to the pack that we will be cruising then!!! Pam

Pez Quadro looks like a fun hangout :drinking1

Something that had not occurred to me though no credit cards accepted ... which may be quite common? :confused3 Didn't think to pack a bunch of $$

Anyway the b-day theme... mine are all starting this week... DH is 10/27, DS 11/2, Anniversary 11/8, Me 11/12 (in case u didn't guess), and then to join you Saggs DD 12/17. Yes always a busy time of year!!!

Sherri

Will DCl offer excursions, or do we have to book on our own?
DH and DS were doing that underwater nautilius thing on Cozumel- don't see anything similiar at Costa May, but there is one similiar at GC, so now it's time to start the juggling!!! Anyone have any recommendations or ideas for Costa Maya?

Maybe the change will free up some rooms from people who were in it for Cozumel... !! That could help me out with my dilemma!!!! Pam

Hey Gang!
Been lurking when we can, playing catch up the rest of the time...glad everyone is well after the many storms this summer!! After the deluge of hurricanes LAST summer, figures Wilma would bring yet another punch!! Our best friends and partners in the Turkey cruise just got slammed...again! They're just north of West Palm Bch. and got the backlash in a big way! He's a policeman, she's a nurse...so guess who has to work through the whole thing!! Now, 3.5 weeks out from our trip. They have no power. Can you imagine trying to prep for such a great trip w/o electricity???? Ugggghhh! They, along w/ several of you will be more than ready for this cruise!! I think we should have a party to celebrate all the storm survivors!!! Worn out!, Weary!, but ready to party!!

We have no docs yet either here in the woods north of Atlanta...I think our UPS guy is scared to go over our re-built bridge (a wash-out from an early summer storm too!). I'll be searchin' the bushes near the driveway at first light now that I know everyone else is getting theirs!!

Again, glad to be back in the loop...sure is nice to get all the laughs!!
Crackin' open the suitcases tomorrow!! :cheer2:
Laurie
