Priscilla, last year we met on deck 10 overlooking the port and the party. There is a porta bar there with all the "fixins" and it's not really crowded. Dw and DDs enjoyed the dancing on Deck 9 and Willie and myself enjoyed the miller lites........

Oh yes! I forgot about deck 10! :Pinkbounc

Would anybody be willing to meet there BEFORE the boat drill? Then we could see each other here and there again at the Sailaway party. :cool1:

I have been working on my space availability issue- only staterooms available now are cat 11 for 4 people. Our TA is super nice ( told me today he will be relieved when 11/19 gets here cause I'll be on my cruise!!) and has promised to try to make adding DD back on happen for us. It is especially important that we not have to leave DH behind to make room for her. Long sory shortened- we are in the process of adopting her- she is really my DH neice, but we are her guardians now. She has been with us a couple years, but was having behavior issues (neglectful past) and was in residential treatment, and has now been released when we were told in Sept she wouldn't be until January.. SO even though it is causing some stress concerning the cruise, it is still a good thing!!! Now I am wondering why I am telling this personal info to strangers- maybe b/c they can appreciate the sad/glad/ factor of my situation.....? At the worst, we will have to book a second room. I just want everything to go smoothly so DH will happily fork over the money for our next DCL cruise !!! (although he does want to do an Alaskan cruise...) But this is a man who let me talk him into a week in WDW in August when we had just spent a week there in April!!!

Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations!!! :disrocks: WHen this is settled, AND when we have DOCS. I will be in a much more Disney frame of mind.....

PS- My mom actually had the nerve to suggest we cancel this cruise and rebook later.......

Codys mom......We booked a cat. 6 and a cat. 11 for the 4 of us and it was within 100 dollars of stuffing all 4 in one cat. 6....we have done it 2 years in a row....

OK, for the DIS meets, Last year we set up alot of them, and some of us die hards went to just about all of them, some went to some of them, and some went to maybe 1? (We must have been too wild for em!)

Saturday - Sailaway party on deck 10 overlooking the party. Right by the portable bar. (Which RAN OUT OF MILLER LITE last year!)

Sunday at CC- DIS Corner- way down where the beach starts to curve. Some Dads went down early and got some chairs near each other. We were all looking out for each others kids, did a group snorkel, played volleyball, etc.

Sunday,Monday,Thursday,Friday - Diversions for NFL and College Football

Every Night- 10:30 ish at Diversions or Rockin Bar D to wind down the day.

Every Night- For those that have late dinner rotation linked, dinner will be like a meet! We will have half the dining room.

Last year the secret deck on 7 was locked by 10:30 each night.

Any suggestions for more meets?

So how do you work the sleeping arrangements? Do you rotate nights in the cat 6. Thanks!!!

CodysMom-

We are doing similar. We have an 8 for Kelli and myself. And an 11 across the hall for DD's and friend. Was perfect last year.

Willie -

That is very sad. I just don't understand this kind of thing at all...

Well, my dd was chatting with a couple of the 5J's the other night. My dd mentioned that along with our tickets we were going to be getting green t-shirts! I guess the 5J girls thought that the shirts were part of the package - LOL!

I told Lauren (my dd) that the shirts were specially made and I didn't order them. Folks, the reason I didn't order them was because I was about 99% sure that my teens and husband would absolutely refuse to wear them. And would be mortified if I did.

Well, that 1% came through last night when my dd, Lauren, said that SHE WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY WORN A GREEN T-SHIRT.

:confused3

Well, that bummed me out!

STILL NO DOCS HERE!

Myself and Kim have the cat. 6 and DDs (15,13) the cat. 11 it's like a cave in there in the morning.....they can sleep in on sea days and not be bothered be me and my "Bloody Marys" in the morning on the verandah......

Willie.....myself and Tom met up at the Promenade lounge before dinner for a martini or Mojito as DDs were STILL getting ready.....I liked that "meet" we had the last night on deck 9? by the elevators to "finish off" your cooler! I loved the meets at 2 a.m. by the ping pong table.....drunkin ping pong in 30mph winds at 2am was great!!

Looks like the 11/05/05 Western has switched from Cozumel to Costa Maya......

WELCOME NEWBIES!!!!!! yeee haw we are 21 days til we fly out of this :cold: Buckeye state!!!!

it's gray and cold and rainy here -- but i have a way cool new beach CD that i've been listening too and my new theme songs is Jimmy Buffet - I wanna go where its WARM!!

how fun we are growing!! i will be the first to admit i have a super bad memory, so if you newest wouldn't mind 'signing' your real name at the end of your post it will help me!

lampy -- i'm floored that Cozumel may be a possibility!!! i'm holding my tongue until we know for sure, i have been trying to prepare DD that we may not get to dolphin swim. which, we still may not i would think

i'll see your child's December birthday and raise you about 12 days -- my youngest Paige will be 9 on 12/25 :bitelip:

NO DOCS HERE!!!!! WAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been trying to get ICEMAN by phone, but no luck.

Willie- The Eiss family lists their address as Weston. Unfortunately, it looks like the eye of Wilma went right over them. The news reports we are hearing here in central Florida are that nearly one third of the state of Florida is without power. You know all too well what that probably means for this poor family.

Willie.....maybe you should get that "mobile hurricane lab" of your over to Iceman :rotfl2: That generator is going to need to be retired after this season......
I cant get the link to pull but look at this pic and the pic #4 on the cozumel dock pics....think that is the dock next to where we were
