November 17, 2011 Bahama Dream Cruise

I couldn't find the 11/17/2011 3-day cruise to the Bahamas on the DREAM listed on the "Find Your 2011 Dream Cruise Meet Here" listing. Can someone please add this cruise to that listing and post my thread to it to start it? Thanks!

I know its 22 months away but I'm still very excited about this cruise because it will be the 1st cruise my DH and I take our 4 daughters on. They have been begging us for the last two years to take them on a Disney Cruise but we have always opted instead to take them to Disneyworld for a one week vacation instead, not having enough Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points to do both. However, we recently purchased our 2nd DVC member ship (this one at Animal Kingdom Lodge) and now we have enough points to do both!!!!! Has anyone else booked this cruise yet?

Hello! My DW and I (both 45 and empty nesters) will be cruising following a week of F&W fun. We are DVCers who will likely be staying at BWV a week prior to this cruise. We are extremely excited to meet other DISers who will be sailing with us!

Is this your first Disney Cruise? I couldn't tell from your post if you had cruised before with Disney. My DH and I are DVCers too. Our 1st home resort is Saratoga Springs but we recently purchased a 2nd membership at Animal Kingdom Villas after taking a tour of the resort - absolutely beautiful! We havn't stayed there yet, but plan on doing so next fall right before the Cruise. The first time we stayed at a Disney Resort was at Boardwalk Villas. My Mother-in-Law owns a membership there. We like that resort alot too. Glad to hear from some more people who will be on the cruise.

It actually is our first cruise ever. Thought we would try a shorter duration cruise to begin with to see if we would enjoy it. I have a feeling we will!

We own at both BLT and BWV, but are really excited about staying at AKV during our F&W trip this October. We visited AKL last October when we had an ADR at Boma and absolutlely loved the overall ambience of the resort. Who knows, addonitis may strike again after this vacation! Hopefully more folks will begin posting on this thread soon.......but I guess were are still 17 months out.

I would love to do a b2b cruise sometime. I heard it is such a thrill to get off the ship knowing that your vacation is not over like everyone elses and you will be getting back onboard within a few hours.

Just booked this cruise! It will be me (Kim), and DH (Chris), my sister and her two daughters, and my mom!

This will be our 7th Disney cruise, and my mom's 2nd. It will be a first for my sister & her girls . I can't wait to see their faces when they see Castaway Cay for the first time!!!

My DH, DS(2) and myself just got off of this cruise today! It was our first cruise and one of the best vacation additions we have ever had. We had been in Orlando since Nov 11 so the cruise was the tail end of the vacation but it turned out great..I must say I have never seen anywhere more beautiful then castaway cay, from the beaches to the food it was so relaxing...while on-board, we took advantage of re-booking cause of the great deal they gave us, 10% off cruise price and only 10% down! The fish extender exchange was also very fun and we got a whole lot of neat things from people's state's and what not..looking forward to getting to know of you all withing the next year!!

We were just on this cruise last month on the wonder and it was starting to get decorated for Christmas. I'm guessing it would be around the same time on the dream that they would start to decorate too. Only thing I wished was done was the gingerbread house! It was being built during our cruise and we didn't get to see the finished product!

It looks like i won't be alone on the B2B. I just booked with DVC points today. ON this leg it will be myself and my best friend-(our girls get away)

The next leg 11/20 will be myself, my DH, my DS (12), DS (10), DS (8)

I had some points to use up. We are getting ready for the MV right now. I need to go and update my ticker!
