November 14, 2010 4 Night Bahama Cruise

Marlower, that sounds like so much fun! Where did you find the information on that one? We were thinking of doing the Atlantis Beach day, but I wasn't sure. As fun as the water park looks, we were just thinking it would be nice to lay on the beach and maybe see the aquarium. We were also looking at the wine tasting excursion, but it's a little pricey.

I'm also going to be doing their Jamaica resort for a day during our Thanksgiving cruise.

For the bahamas for a day, we plan to take the watertaxi from the pier to the Paradise Island which cost $6 per person roundtrip. Seems simple enough to get on the watertaxi. It would be fun if you joined us!!

WAHOO!! Yes, if you could PM me with the names of all the guests as well as reservation numbers then I will fax over to DCL. I will PM everyone else right now to get ressie numbers and names and hopefully can get this faxed to DCL by Monday!! I will keep everyone posted

My two friends and I are planning on doing an excursion but not thru DCL. We will be doing the "resort for a day" visit at the Paradise Island Resort. It's an all inclusive package with all you can eat and drink plus the use of their facilities (pool, beach, restaurants, etc) and non motorized sports. The cost is just $50 per person.

I would love to know more about this excursion!!!!

We are officially on our way to Disneyworld  :cool1: See you all in 1 week!! :thumbsup2

That sounds very cool, I'll have to look into that. All the times we've visited Nassau we've never actually stopped at Paradise Island. This time next week we'll be heading to the port! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone,

We are well on our way to faxing over our request for the private dining room for brunch at PALO.

DisneyDreams, did you get my PM? I think maybe you didn't because I received an error message that you could not receive PM:confused3 It said this: "Disney Dreams has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."

I wasn't sure how else to contact you so if you are still interested in the brunch can you please PM with your details. Just let me know if you have any questions. Hope you can join us!!:goodvibes

I might as well jump in as well. I just booked this cruise yesterday.

It's actually the result of a very interesting confluence of incidents. WDW is entering the slow pre-Thanksgiving period, so I wasn't scheduled at work. At the same time, a trip I had previously planned down to Vero Beach in December fell through for various reasons. This cruise caught my eye, and seeing as how I suddenly have the time and extra money, I decided to go for it!

This is my first time ever on a sea-faring boat, full stop. So I'm sure I'll spend half the trip trying to overcome sea sickness, lol. However, I'm still looking forward to getting away for a bit. At least I can cross "Drop everything and leave country on sudden holiday" off my to-do list :rotfl:!

:welcome: Aboard!! What an awesome last minute booking!!

Welcome aboard! I wouldn't worry too much about sea sickness, the stabilizers on the ship help with that. My brother gets horrible sea sickness and didn't have a problem on the Wonder. Although, I think you notice the movement of the ship quite a bit the 1st night, but it's not too bad :goodvibes

Welcome!!!!

I just took a peek at the weather for this weekend. We're flying into MCO on Saturday, then we've rented a convertible to get us to the coast. Weather looks to be sunny and in the high 70s. Joy!!!

Quiet around here, everyone must be getting ready for the Wonder!

We fly into Orlando LATE Saturday night and have a friend taking us to port on Sunday morning.

FE stuff is all done and set to go and looking forward to this trip.

So when does everyone fly into Orlando!?
My fiancee and I will be landing in MCO at 10:30 Sunday!

We also arrive on Embarkation day at 1030am. We opted to rent a car and drive to the port using a one way car rental. I'm praying for clear skies and no flight delays. I usually fly in the night before but we are winging it this time!

Yes, I am starting to slowly pack and do laundry. I just got confirmation that we are on for the brunch! Wahoo! I will be sending pm's to those that have signed up for the private brunch! I'm beyond excited! My two friends have never been on a Disney cruise and I really wanted to give them the royal treatment and I think the brunch will give them that!! See you all in just a few days!

Thanks for taking care of this for us! This is our first Disney cruise too and my birthday so the brunch will help to make it even more special!
