Stateroom avail was OV on 2. Anyone sailed there before?
I wanted ocean view so I didn't have to stress about my little ones on the balcony but I'm worried now. Seems like we are under the nightclub. 1st time with kids. Never sailed w/o balcony.

Deck 2 is nice and hopefully you will have no issues. We have sailed with Inside deck 2, Balcony deck 6 and OV on deck 5 in the past. On Deck 2 it seems like you have beautiful views of the water from your room. Definitively the Balcony was lovely to have, but given we didn't spend that much time on the balcony and we had Smokers next to us, we have picked OV for the future.

We still don't have our cruise docs yet, but not important since we are driving and will have everything online.

We've done OV on deck 2 twice and both were great. Well, the second time we were right above the anchor (towards the back of the ship) so when it was going up or down the room shook quite a bit, but that wasn't very often and we were always awake getting ready to get off the ship anyway so it didn't disturb us. You could check out the stateroom reports here on the DIS if you're concerned, but I really like deck 2.

You're not too late for FE's, you're just in time. We're taking sign ups until the 13th and then will give out a final number. I'll add you to the list. Keep posting so that you can PM me your info (names, ages, email address, stateroom number).

TeamMason - your kids are about the same age as mine - I have a DS7 and DS4. Hopefully, they can play in the kids club together! We did this same cruise in February - and you'll have no problem getting a water Taxi in Cabo - they are everywhere. We got one last time and just had him take us around the Arcs, etc. It was beautiful and much less expensive than the excursions. We did book the Pirate Sail in Puerto Vallarta this time - we did the resort last time and it was really nice (I know a lot of people here are doing that this time). In Cabo, I think we're just going to "wing it". We didn't get to Medrano beach last time, so that's probably where we'll have the water taxi take us on one of the days.

This will be fun. Calling my girlfriend now to walk me into the Disney campus and see what I can find for FE's at the store. The boys will make some gifts but momma likes to shop.

Hmmm, I never thought about smokers. I'm liking my OV even more now.

We were not cruisers either, as a mater of fact, I am a big chicken when it comes to water. Probably saw posiedon adventure and titanic too many times. But after a week long cruise on DCL, we are hooked. It was so relaxing and DD had so much fun. Must say very safe too. We never flipped or sank

Here are our numbers so far:

Total: 18 adults, 19 kids

(girls 4, 4, 7, 9, 9, 10, 10, 12, 13, 13)

Looks like we may have quite a few new friendships on this trip. I'm surprised how close in ages a lot of the kids are.
