How do I find the Facebook page?

It is a private group but any one of us can friend you and then invite you to the group. I am going to send you a personal message with my FB information and then you can friend me and I will add you to the group.

Is it possible for us to join the facebook group even though we aren't doing the FE? Thanks

Yes.. Sending you a PM with my FB information... Friend me and then I can add you to the group.

I take it Promenage Lounge is easy to find!!!!

Yep. Deck 3 midship. Deck 3 is the main floor of the atrium. You have to walk past the Promenade Lounge to get to the aft (back of the ship). It's between Triton's and Animator's Palate. Once you get on the ship it will make more sense.

Started getting FE gifts together. Still haven't created any new magnets for the door. Guess I need to get one for MIL, since this will be the first time she has sailed with us.

Hi all, I just recently found this discussion forum and spent the last 2 days reading up on DCL!! I just read this entire thread in the last hour. I booked our cruise a couple months ago (couldn't pass up the kids free deal) and can't believe it's just weeks away. I wish I had found out about this forum a couple months ago... or even days ago, considering I just missed the FE cutoff!! I'm traveling on this cruise with my hubby and 2 daughters (ages 2 and 4). Sorry, I still am not up-to-speed on all the acronyms... DH, etc. This will be our first Disney cruise (and the first cruise for my girls). VERY EXCITED!!!!!

I haven't booked any excursions (thinking the girls are too young??), and unfortunately didn't book Palo either (coz I don't think my 4 year old will want to go to the kids club on her own). I actually had a question and was hoping someone could help --

Since our daughters are 2 and 4, they aren't allowed in the same kids clubs. If we wanted to bring our 4 year old to the kids club, could we still bring our 2 year old? We don't plan on leaving them there alone, so we'd be with them the entire time (I'm assuming that's allowed?)

Thanks much!!! I've learned so much from this forum. In fact, I have a LONG list of things I now need to purchase for the trip -- and I'm beyond excited!! I admit I was getting a little worried after I bought our tickets because I read a few reviews on the Wonder and found them disappointing. After reading these forums though, I'm BEYOND excited again!!!

:welcome: namihos. Glad you found us.. Hard to believe that we only sail in less than a month!

I will have to let someone else answer the question on the kids club, but I believe if you go into the club to pick up your 4 yo, you can bring your 2yo. I have seen in some cases where the parents have remained in the club with their kids, but generally kids start having such a good time that they don't depend on their parents there.

We went on the Wonder last year and had a wonderful time (no pun intended) :rotfl: I think you will find critics of Disney in lots of places, because their isn't round the clock buffets like there are on other cruises, the childlike fun that happens. But if you like Disney and like to relax and have a good time, then you will have a good time!

Welcome Namihos! We did just cut off FE's, but if you're interested, we may still be able to get you in. I know some of us planned extras just in case. Let me know if you want to.

DH (dear husband/Disney husband), DD (dear daughter), DS (dear son), etc.

I'm not sure about you bringing your 2 year old to the kids club. I think they have some open house time that you can go check out the clubs and you could go there with her then, but I don't think you can just go hang out in the club at other times (although I don't have experience with the clubs to know for sure). My DD turns 4 next week. You should come to our cruise meet on the first day and we can have the girls meet each other. I'm not sure mine will want to do clubs by herself either, but maybe if she has a friend. I know they do some fun activities, like making flubber, making cookies, etc. and I'm hoping to get DD involved in some of those.

Thank you so much for your quick response!! I would love to join the FE, but I completely understand if it's too late. From reading the posts, I see people started planning for these months ago!! Please let me know, and I'll be fine either way. I don't want people to go out of their way. Thanks so much for the offer! I just joined DIS today, so let me know what you need from me! I've posted on a few other threads, but I may still need to do some more posting it seems!

Yes, I will definitely come to the cruise meet! Would love for our DD's (thanks for the tutorial!) to meet. Thanks again!!

thanks so much for your reply!! i posted on another thread earlier today with the same question, and someone told me she was able to bring her 1 year old into the older kids club while her older DD played. i'm hoping once my DD makes some friends, she'll be fine by herself! the activities sound like so much fun, and i don't want her to miss out. i look forward to meeting everyone at the cruise meet. thanks again!

would it be possible to be added to the facebook group as well? thank you!

Need you to get to one more post, so that you have a post count of 10 and then one of us can PM you FB information.

namihos--pm me your info for FEs
(names of your family members and ages of the girls, stateroom number, and your email address). I think most if not all will be able to accommodate adding you to the FE group.

I'm glad to hear that parents can hang out in the kids clubs if needed. I hope DD will like them but I know she'll want me around at least at first.

wow, thank u so much to the FE group. i completely understand if it's too late for some -- please don't go out of your way to include us. i just told my DH about this group and the FEs, and he was pretty impressed with all that goes on! of course he knows i'm going to completely stress myself out with the FE stuff in the next couple weeks (i can't sew - where do i find an FE!!), let alone worry about our own packing... but i want to make this first DCL experience unforgettable for my 2 DDs - and also help add to the experience for others!!! thank u again for those who can squeeze us in.

yes, my DD will definitely want us around at first too. i'm hoping she'll settle in nicely though and really enjoy the activities with some new friends!

I'll email out a new FE list for everyone today. Please ask questions if you have any. I know a couple of people ordered their FEs from a lady on ebay who makes them. It doesn't have to be fancy or really even sewn. I've seen some that were made with hot glue or people have even used little bags or small shoe organizer type things (you only want them about 8" wide). One of our DISers made hers from an old beach bag. I still need to make one for my mom.

Question on the FE groups.. If there are 2 rooms with a family, will there be a FE on each door or just one. Also is it one family or 2 families traveling together.

I just noticed some DISers have 2 rooms on the list.

thanks again! i just made my FE this morning -- it's not the prettiest, but at least i can now focus on the FE gifts! i'm anxiously awaiting your email with the FE list -- but in the meantime, could someone let me know about how many people are participating? i was hoping to run to a few stores today at lunch to get this thing started. if someone could even send me the 10/13 list, that would be great!! thanks so much for including us!

I already sent the email. Maybe check your spam folder? 21 adults, 21 kids, 13 total rooms participating.
