This is the only thread for our cruise meet group. We have two FE groups, "Mickey" with 16 members and "Minnie" with 5 members.

Where is the thread for the Mickey group? It would be nice to have us combined. We are leaving in the morning to board for halloween and the FE group is 51 cabins. Just a thought.

My 2 cents. I prefer the smaller FE group. A good way for a rookie to try the FE group thing. With Minnie number I don't need to worry about shipping stuff in advance and home

There is no separate thread for the Mickey group. Sorry, but that group was closed to new members in September.

When new members wanted to participate in an FE group we started the Minnie group. The Mickey group members had the opportunity to also join the Minnie group, that's why I'm in both groups.

I understand your disappointment, however the Mickey group members wanted to have a cut off so they would know the final number of participants in order to complete their shopping/and or make their FE gifts.

13 days. I'm officially calling it a week and a half.

Up until this weekend I coulnd't wait to leave for the cruise. Now I need more time to get everything together. We couldn't go out on Saturday due to a snowstorm in NJ. It was very icy and many people lost power. Luckily we didn't, but the lights were flickering. The last time it snowed here in October was during the Civil War.

Talking about snow makes me thankful I live in Orlando! Of course, we are fighting with the rain today, but that's nothing compared to the nightmare of snow. I hated having to deal with it when we lived in Maine.

I'm still waiting for this whole cruise thing to seem real ... I guess it's been so long that I've been trying to get on a cruise (I cancelled our first cruise nearly 12 years ago due to my being pregnant, I cancelled another scheduled cruise a few years ago so we could put the money towards our house), that it won't feel real until I'm on the ship. I'm planning to pull out the big suitcases this week and clean them up/air them out ... Maybe that will help me get my head in the game? I have only the most basic of packing lists .. I'm sure my girls will help with that. It's strange that they're now old enough to pack for themselves. Last time I took a vacation I did most of the packing myself.

But...can't complain too much as there are tons of people still without power. We were lucky in the scope of things...how come my work had power?

May work on some door decorations tonight if I have ink in my printer....if not I will on some later in the week!!

How terrible for you and your family! The local news was still covering the aftermath of the storm on last night's tv broadcast. Transportation was a mess and even schools were closed due to loss of power. Glad to hear you got your power back!

I just want to apologize ahead of time for my not
very creative FE gifts. I have had some health issues
which have prevented me from going all out on the gifts
I have gifts for the kids but I don't have much for
the adults but I will work on that if I am up to it.

I forgot to say my DD is a tomboy(likes boys things) thankfully she is getting more girly and had her ears pierced. Still wnt wear her hair up or wear pink though.

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Hope you are feeling better soon.
My daughter has also only recently started to be more girly. She also doesn't like pink and does not like to wear dresses. They should get along.

We leave for WDW in 5 days! I can not believe this trip is FINALLY here! I am so excited! THis week is crazy for us, though! Its my hubby's busiest week of the year, so we have formal dinners/functions every night and Saturday. Then, on top of all of that and having my parents here over the weekend and celebrating my sons birthday, our wood floors are being replaced SATURDAY AND SUNDAY! Are you kidding me? But, they are being replaced under warranty, so we have to take what we can get...but, OMG - could any more be going on RIGHT before we leave! I am feeling a bit overwhelmed!!!!!!!!!!

BUT< SO EXCITED...I can almost taste it!~!!

Can I get the final list for FE. Weather was great, ship rocked the first night (Stormy Weather) but Castaway Cay made up for it. Just a heads up......Formal night (Golden Mickeys) 1st night, Villains tonight 2nd night, Pirates 3rd night (Cabaret show) and Believe 4th night (with a matinee performance). Can't wait to get back on board!!!!!

OHHHH!!! Learned by experience this last cruise. Our cabin on concierge 12, you need to leave the gifts with guest relations. The gates are locked all day long, unless someone leaves them open.
