I really wanted to do a fancy-ish dinner, but we could always dress up for one of the other nights and just pretend it's fancy

If you request the "ERAA" dining rotation, E (Enchanted Garden) R (Royal Palace) AA (Animator's Palette), you'll be in RP the fancier/more formal restaurant on "dress up" night for our cruise.

Also, I was reading another thread about the FE's and I was wondering if it would be okay for me and my fiancee (newlyweds on the cruise) to join the group. It looks like so much fun and I already have some great ideas about the gifts

Anyone planning to run the Castaway Cay 5k? I really want to do it but DH won't do it with me. I have been training with the Jeff Galloway 5k app and this will be my first group run!

Yes, we are doing a couple of days before the cruise at the Caribbean Beach Resort & doing the Christmas Party on that Friday night. Been to Texas on a drive once other then that never been past Arizona. I'm with my family now on their level of excitement!!! ( Just wish I didn't have to fly, oh well i just need to find my happy thought)

My partner Bob and I woud like to be on the FE list. (Just found the thread). We are bringing his brothers, wives and parents for their 47th Anniversary. This is a first cruise for all of them except his mom who went with us on our first. We plan on having a blast!! Is there a plan for a meet for the adults?

I just broke down and booked this yesterday!!! Needed a getaway. I am taking my mom and we are going to have a mom and daughter trip!!!

Just wanted to pop over and say hi!!! We are going to stay at the Hyatt the night before and take DCL transfers in the AM. I usually rent a car but with my mom I want to make it super convenient so we are taking the transfers and doing the Onboard Airline Checkin on the return.

I will certainly try!!! We can chat about the Fantasy coming to NY...LOL!!!

My mom and dad have cruised DCL once before when we had a large family group going and the family are all going again on June 30th on the Fantasy but Dad does not want to fly anymore so Mom was sad she wouldn't be joining us for that....but when the Last minute discounted rate came out for the 4 day I booked a verandah for mom and me!!! I wanted her to see the new ship!!!

So excited...and not too long to wait!!!

Hi Dawn.....I was looking at the website and they offered the VGT Last minute discount rate for this cruise...it showed up as one of the categories. There are restrictions like no canceling or changing, can't pick your cabin but since we are in penalty phase already I would not be canceling anyway.

Still waiting on cabin assignment but we are guaranteed a verandah.
