November 13-17, 2011 Dream Cruise

Great ideas! I like the e-mail thing that is fun! OOh and perhaps Facebook?

I saw that thread about the boarding times ... Frustrating, I was planning on getting out there quite early. You're right, though, at least we'll have time to see how it effects everything.

Unfortunately, Disney and/or passengers may not realize how this is effecting scheduled tansfers, driver arrangements, hotel shuttle times, etc.

I'm going to let this settle in awhile before I change my shuttle time.

Happy day! My waitlisting for early dining paid off .. We were switched this afternoon from second to main dining, which makes me happy. :) Making another big fat payment tomorrow, and I am so excited about cruising!

Thanks for posting! I just checked and we also just got switched to main dining! Next request: ERAA dining rotation.

We were already on early dining, but my dad just got switched to be with us for my DD's birthday! So happy. Looks like they did a massive whole sale change for many!

Now what is ERAA dining rotation?

You will not know your dining rotation until you board the ship. However, you can request a dining rotation, by calling ahead or when you first board, but DCL will not guarantee you will get it.

I'm going to request ERAA which is Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace, and Animator's Palate (AP). Since Royal Palace is the most formal of the three restaurants, I wanted to go there on the semi-formal, dress up night. The third night of the cruise is Pirate Night and AP shows pirate scenes on its screens. The last night of the cruise AP has its show with Crush.

Great idea! I didn't realize that you could request your rotation. As you said, I understand you may not get it, but it's nice to know you can ask.

Thanks for the great tip! :yay::yay:

No worries, Disney Mom! Some people won't know the difference before they go, however, and it's frustrating to be disappointed on a vacation. :) I've worked for Disney, and I know the sheer amount of information regarding a Disney vacation can be seriously overwhelming.

I remember a family I spoke with who asked what there was to do at Downtown Disney ... I started talking to them about all the things to see, and the shops, when they asked if there was anything to eat our there! I could ahve talked to them for ages about all the things to do out there .. I hope they went and had lots of fun. :)

Any ideas for a slogan for our cruise?

Suggestion: "We Need a Little Disney Now!" :cheer2:

Other cruise slogans, for example:

November 3, 2012 - "Election Escape Eastern!!"

March 22, 2012 Dream SSMC Reunion AKA "It's all Gary's Fault" Cruise

Sept 10th 2011 WB Transatlantic "From Spain to Space Mountain"

Alaska on July 19th, 2011 "Where a good tan is hard to find"

Here's one although a little cheesy; " dream a little dream" cruiseprincess:

Does anyone know if premium annual passes from Disneyland get us any benefits at WDW? Hoping maybe discounts on food or something. Any little bit helps!:cool1:

No, there won't be any benefits unless you bought the multi-location AP, for both DL and WDW. Do you have a Disney Visa? They can get you a 10% discount on shopping if you spend over $50 in the shops. Make sure you ask for it, most CMs will forget to include it unless told.
