How much deposit do they require if we book onboard? Our first time as well and staying before and after at the world.I still dont have a clue about all the things to do and see.I keep reading on here about the resturants kids clubs etc but it is mind boggling. After travelling to disney for the last 13 years I have just about got the jist of it but the cruise is another matter.Glad there are other first timers on here. Not seen any other Uk cruisers though.
Crabbie1,...the deposit has been $100 per person in the past,...I am guessing that is still the case. You could ask on a trip report threads to be sure, they should know.
Where will you be staying before and after? We r staying at Old Key West. CANT WAIT!

THis is our first time to stay there. My parents became proud owners of DVC at OKW this year and we are so happy. We have rented points for several years and stayed at Saratoga Springs,..which we really liked, but we are anxious to try OKW.
As for things to do and plans to make for this cruise,... well you are right,..it can be mind boggling. I think that all of this PRE planning stuff makes me feel like my vacation is MUCH longer than 7-10 days
I remember our 1st cruise,... we had NO IDEA what we were getting into.

We did a land and sea,..4days land,..3 days sea.
1st thing I learned..... 3days....NOT LONG ENOUGH!!!!
2nd - make sure you get to port as soon as possible. They wont let us in until 10 and sometimes later, and not on the ship until 12 but we like to get on board ship ASAP!!! I'm gettin my $ worth,..every penny of every min!
3rd - asap send someone to make Palo or Remi reservations while you go make spa reservation if you havent done this online. (if you are planning on doing these) (think of this strategy as you would your Fastpass strategy at WDW)
after that 1st cruise I STUDIED

and STUDIED

read everything I could on here

so we would be WELL prepared for the 2nd one.

it paid off!
If you have any questions just ask I don't know everything,...but I'll do my best to help.
