Don't even THINK about that!! But, if it DOES happen, they use greek fraternity names.

According the the NHC - they just use the alphaber - starting with Hurricane Alpha, Hurricane Beta, Hurricane Gamma ---- all the way through until you reach Hurricane Omega....OK, time to edit.....they are NOT using any of these names, this is purely a hypothetical discussion.......

Hey STB we booked the Cat 3 while on board last Oct. When I first booked it there were no Cat 3's. I checked back with the booking desk each day and one opened up.

FairyDisMom we are also on Deck 8 8022 so we are on other side of the ship from you. Your also Mid Ship we are more Forward. Not that far from each other.

And still no Docs here

lakeworthdad don't forget "sound's great-just let me call my bankruptcy attorney to give him all the information, he made me promise to have everything in tonight cuz he's fileing tomorrow" i think one of the main reasons we bought into dvc was because when the hit us up for a presentation at wdw and we said "sounds interesteing but we're on vacation right now..." they said "no problem, can we send you some information in the mail?". which they did which we could watch at our own leisure.

Sleep the night before? I thought about that and I have a plan. It involves an ironman triathlon for my DS. If that doesn't work - Benedryl, but not too much.

As for my DW and me. Hey my DW is a CPA and I am a computer programmer - we can read instructional texts! NOT!!

So, when we are on board the plan is to BOOK something in 2007 and then wait and see????? Can we cancel and still get the deposit back. While I agree the rates are stiff, perhaps we hve not seen the rates yet of the competitors ships????? I half expected thid due to the fuel.....maybe the prices will come down.....?????

You can book and then cancel for a full refund as long as you do it before final payment is due.
From what I am hearing from all of my sales managers within the various cruise lines is the prices are going to continue to climb since the demand is so great. 5 years ago they had too many ships and not enough cruises. After 9/11, people found out what a great deal cruising was and it is "close to home" so it is also something people will drive to that are afraid to fly. Now there are too many cruisers and not enough ships - which is mind boggling to me!
Today I spent the day re-routing clients that were to leave tomorrow that decided they were to scared to sail with the hurricane. I really hope this one magically disappears!

According to the NOAA web site (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/HAW2/english/basics/naming.shtml), they don't use; Q,U,X,Y and Z because of the limited names starting with those letters.

my mistake! I guess the hard earn money that tax payers paid for my education was wasted.
