November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

those thinking of booking on board check out the main cruise page-someone posted a link the other day that showed a new policy (think it was for 2007) wherein cat 3 and higher deposits are non refundable under any circumstances (you can transfer to another date), apparantly the line is tired of people "wishing" they could do the cruise and then backing out just before the final payment is due.

Howdie Gang!

Besides the new jumbo screen (which I have heard is awesome!) what else did they do to the ship while it was in dry dock? Didn't they do something to the gym and a few other areas???

FYI, I have been following that subject very closely (beacuse of my addtiction to exercise) and they are NOT DONE WITH THE FITNESS FACILITY upgrades......in fact, the cruisers now and possibly next Saturday have NO MACHINES to work out on and the gym is closed off! :guilty:

There are cruisers who are really let down, as you can imagine.

All I can hope is two very important things for our sailing.....

:flower: #1 That the tropical moisture from whatever its source IS GONE BY NOV 12TH!

:flower: #2 That the exercise epuipment and gym are back together.

Is the Nickelodeon Hotel gonna' still be standing after this hurricane blows through?
oooohhhhh! I sure hope so! :teeth:

well ya know disnurse you may end up singing "who stays in a theme hotel under the sea disnurse family"... :cool1:

i have'nt seen any posts on the new kid's area-is it up and running? i've read about the "dive-in movies" which sound like fun (and showings of pirates of the carib. in the evenings following the pirate deck party pirate: ). i'm more interested in seeing the enhancements to the spa (tried to talk dh into letting me take his rock massage as well as my own-no go :guilty: ).

Barkley you can book on board and then wait and see sure. But just keep in mind that if you book a CAT 3 you are right the deposit will not be refuned if you cancel. That only only goes for Cat's 1,2,3,

Still waiting on them Docs :(

you won't ever see us lining up to re-book on board, with the exception of our first dvc cruise all the rest (including last year's alaska) were done via dvc points. even though they get their monthly payment for another 5 or so years i still like the idea that when i book i only pay $90 for my disney cruise

Hey Barkley, When is your rock massage scheduled?? At the beginning of the cruise, mid week or end??? I thought about having one also, but have read some of the treatments on DCL are not as wonderful as those at other places. I am a Canyon Ranch fanatic. Everytime we hit WDW, I schedule a day at Canyon Ranch. I've yet to experience a massage better than the one Les (Nole - I think that's his last name) gives at CR. It's worth every little penny that overpriced spa charges. I'm already lined up to melt into his hands before we leave on the cruise. If you're booked for a rock massage on the ship, I know I'll want to hear about it, and if it was intoxicatingly relaxing as one would hope, I may try to book one (i.e. placed on a wait list)
