Hi there - I am trying to update this list and saw that you had posted a question that we may not have answered. Not sure we have any official postcard count, it is all just for fun. I'd bring a couple for each kid????

Any other thoughts????

Thanks for getting back to me on this. Is the thought that we should bring enough for each child in the group to have one from our state or is each of my girls supposed to bring a couple to exchange with someone else? Either way is fine with me...I just want to make sure I have the right amount. Thanks

I was thinking that I would have my 2 each pick out enough to exchange with each child. So if there are 30 kids, each will get 30 postcards. Might be too much for bigger families though, so at least 1 per family for each child would be great! I know each of my two would love their "own" collection!

Count us in for the postcard exchange! Of course, we will have to purchase these without the kids knowing it.....but no problem! Our awesome town of Bend, Oregon is a town to be bragged about.....on the top ten list of desireable mountain towns to live and play in the outdoors!

Thank you CHOC MARG for the effort and follow up.....I am guessing right now that our daughter could fit into a medium size.....as she currently wears a medium Lance Armstrong braclet around her ankle. She would prefer the ankle anyway.....so no problem there.......if there is an odd kid out.....she can go up to a bigger size no problem!

Please let me know what I need to send you....if it's not a problem, please email me and tell me the process. Yes, we want the bands beforehand so I can "grant" the wristbands to them during our surprise announcement to them at Ron Jons' the morning of departure!

DISNURSE - go to the USER CP prompt at the top of the page.

Then under control panel - look for Edit options.

Under edit options there is a box called Private Messaging. Click on the enable boxes and you can then PM folks and receive mail through the DIS.

In the past a postcard exchange was everyone brings postcards from there area and trade with one another. Being there is about 30 kids I am going to bring 30 from the NYC area to make sure every kid gets one.

Don't worry about siging up for the beer tasting early. I have done it every cruise so far. All you do is check the navigator(sp?) and be at Diversions at the time it says. It's pretty good if you like beer. You get to taste 5 different beers. AS far as the wine goes I never did that one.

we are home from our mini vacation-it was great, overcast and foggy! many folks complained of the weather, but those of us who have suffered from triple digits for the past 4 weeks LOVED IT!!!

the kids return to school monday-so once they return it will be all systems go for REALY getting into the planning for november.

DIS NURSE-sorry you got burned out of the last major posting number, but i feel assured that you will be triumphant in making a major posting achievement!!!

chip&dale&fun-my hubby got his renewed padi membership card today-he will be scouting the offerings you've suggested (as well as probably sched. a refresher dive prior to departure).

on postcards-what is the count on kids-we will bring one for each of the kids.

on the wine tasting-maybe we should organize this a bit-or none of us will make it to the boat following the radison get together (perhaps a rad event coupled with an on board event)!

re "the surprise brunch"- (i'm sorry i've forgotten who posted)-what day did you reserve for? i can change my 2 person date to that date so that when we board we could get more people sched for the same day.

thanks so much for jumping in....The planning for this cruise is exciting!!! Thanks for the update for beer and wine tasting....We had a 4 day cruise, with only one sea day and tried to do sooooo much, I think we missed everything that was not spa related. This trip, less spa, more shipboard activities.....yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee

WINE TASTING QUESTIONS - We have not really given this much thought. It started with an offer to bring a bottle, and other chimed in. Are we doing this at the RAd? Are we doing this on the ship?

I could not book the brunch for no more than 2 people so I will book onboard the ship. During the meet I can let you guys know when and what time. I will try for monday so at least you can spend the frist sea day with your families.
