Thanks all for the happy words about the upgrade....TiggersPal you almost said the no no word I see based on the podcast lol.....JJsmama we leave this friday for some Disney fun before the trip. I also belive there is one other family leaving the same time. Hey Sugarplum so now that you know who is next door that means I can't bang on the walls and throw stuff on your balcony

We are the other family leaving soon. JAYPD, you have us beat by 1 day. We leave Saturday for some WDW fun also. I can't get my packing done, though, because everytime I check into this thread, I have pages and pages to catch up on!

No packing has been done here. My house is on the market, so I'm having to wait. I do need to start making Lists lists lists! Between now and cruise time, I will have given a big birthday party for both sons, so I will really need the vacation. Or maybe moving to China next month has something to do with needing a vacation. Things that make you go 'Hmmm.'

Celebration in progress because today I had the dreaded talk with Ds8's teacher about missing a week of school. She could not have been more gracious and understanding. She even said Jake could do a report on Mexico, etc in lieu of a spelling test.

If anybody else's kids are doing similar reports, we should let eachother know. That way if someone comes across good pamphlets, we can grab a few extra and share.

I too have my house on the market, however I am 99% packed. Just tried on top for the formal night and need to find a shirt for my short- walk in the morning on the top deck, and then the Undies. I am so proud of DH he is done. DD called to remind me to put her dresses in the garmet bag. I hope she sends me an email to remember.
I cannot believe it is only 10 days till I am at WDW. and 11 days till we sail.

By the way, I got blessed too but when I try to copy the Pooh and Piglet icon into my signature it doesn't copy. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

a while back someone posted pictures that they took with one of these bags. I am going to try it with a disposable camera before I put my BREAND NEW (week old) CAmera in it, but the pictures that they took were really nice.

Pretty tricky of you to think of that...I am sure I have a disposable around here someplace!

Thanks for posting the movie listings. We have been trying to not do too many disney films this summer so we would have a few things to do on port days. My little ones really are only interested in swimming, kids lab and more swimming. So we may just hang out on the ship.

Also thanks for posting the clue for the special activity. I totally missed it but plan to be there.

Just wanted to share our happy news!!! Got the call from DCL today they moved us from a Cat 6 to a Cat 4 We are all doing the upgrade dance. This being our 7th Disney cruise it's our first upgrade.

Dee you are welcome to change us on the navigator from 6094 to 8514.

Congrats that is what happened to us we are down the hall in 8088. Look foward to visiting with you and talking about our good fortune

Hi all! I just stumbled across your forums, and found the forum for the cruise I'm going to be on - November 11, 2006.

I'm excited to meet all of you. As you can see, I'm LastMinuteGirl, and there's nothing I love better than planning and going at the last minute. I've never been on a Disney Cruise before, so this will be exciting.

I'll be on your cruise with my 2 d-kids 11 and 12.

Basically, the meetings are outlined in the first post, right? And anyone can attend?

Welcome to the group. You will find a lot of useful information here. If the first few pages don't help answer your questions. Just post a note and someone will do their best to help out.

Very friendly and helpful bunch here. I would be so lost without them.

Dragonflydreaming - I really really truly didn't mean anything by it - I was trying to be funny - but I'm at work and keep getting interrupted...

right click the pooh/piglet and select copy - then go to USER CP and place your curor at the place you want the icon copied then right click again and "paste". Hope that helps - I owe YOU a drink now for offending you - I would NEVER do that... (not on purpose anyway) ....
