Jackie...be nice to Peg! (Ok, I know you're not talking about Peg...but, I think I do know who you're talking about...) Oh, and when you have a chance, could you email me a copy of the douple dip navigators, too?? Thank you, oh guru of all things!

Dee...highlight us, baby...#2614, in steerage class...

Carolyn
Ha We are right down the hall in #2642 I just wanted a window (port hole what ever)

Oh yea for anyone who wants the douple dip navigators here is the link I have the kids ones on my puter. I don't remember if I got them there or another site. I also have the ones from the June DD they are also on my puter.
I used them to compare the two to see if there were any differences to set up our schedule.
My wife is betting I will set up a schedule for everyone else in our group. The last time I did that it went horribly wrong, yelling ensued feelings were hurt. So I said this time everyone else is on there own. So you see I am on the road to recovery from my addiction. Ok not really it pains me that they have no plan, and they have no desire to even think of planning ahead. Ok again in each of their books I put in a “hints” page with things that I think they would like. But I didn’t plan it. I just pointed it out to them. That isn’t planning so I haven’t lost the bet yet. ;)

pandamon and shelly--y'all are sweet, but trust me, you haven't seen my arms!! It's payback for all those car trips to Florida growing up where I laid in my mom's lap and played with her "flab" hanging down while she was driving!!

Thank you! I so needed a laugh this morning. Our family lovingly calls it the double wave. And yes, I have it too.

And.......did you find any? You know on the May one I didn't see the Castaway Club reception on the Navigator, but was told it was Wed. This last double-dip it was on Tuesday. I suspect it's determined cruise by cruise, based on the # of repeat cruisers and the location available for the gathering. I did hear about some changes in how they organized the last one.

I think the list of hints is a good idea. I can understand people just wanting to go with the flow, but you'd hate for your friends and family to miss some of the fun and special things available. I like to know what's out there, plan what has to be booked in advance, then doing whatever I feel like when the time comes! At least I know what I'm missing if I chose to take a nap or spend an hour or two with a book in Cove Cafe ::yes::

We were in DW and I refuse to spend my time running between rides. I walk and enjoy the sites and the people. My feeling is if I don't get to a ride well it will be there next time. Well lets just say my en laws are all about the RIDES. It went bad from there when my wife was left behind going to get the stroler and my kids were gone with them while waited for my wife. I had no idea where they were going. It took several cell phone calls and two hours to get back together. By the time we were back to gethter I was really stressed and had enough on the park I just wanted to go get something to eat and relax. That was the last vacation I spen with them.

"Ok not really it pains me that they have no plan, and they have no desire to even think of planning ahead."

-- It pains ME, and I don't even know them!! Can't stand missed opportunities because people don't bother to organize themselves.

Of course, my friends from college STILL make fun of me because of my "shower schedules" from back when we used to take road trips together and all pile into one hotel room. Well, come on, who wanted to sit around and wait for the slow girl to do her hair just because she was the last one in the shower!!!!!

Disney Upgrades Bedding, In-Cabin Amenities
Even cruisers have to sleep sometime, and Disney Cruise Line is answering the wake-up call for better beds by upgrading every stateroom in its fleet with new mattresses and luxurious linens. Disney will also introduce new in-cabin bath and shower products developed by H20 Plus, a line of water-based products derived from marine botanicals.

The enhancements are currently being rolled out on both Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, with all products and upgrades expected to be in place by October.

Disney joins a throng of major cruise lines that have already committed to upgrading bedding onboard, most recently Royal Caribbean. Many even sell their mattresses -- and brand-new duvets and sheets -- including Carnival, Holland America and Oceania.

All cabins onboard Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will be outfitted with:

Sealy Posturepedic Premium Plus Euro-top mattresses
New pillows
Frette 300-thread-count linens of 100 percent Egyptian cotton
Larger, plusher towels and bath sheets in bathrooms
H20 Plus Spa Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo
H20 Plus Spa Marine Collagen Conditioner
H20 Plus Spa Hydrating Body Butter

Concierge level suites will also offer a "Pillow Talk" menu with a selection of hypo-allergenic, feather and therapeutic memory foam options, and additional H20 Plus offerings such as Sea Salt Body Wash and Solar Relief Gel.

Not a concierge passenger? Not to worry -- an expanded line of H20 products, including the body wash and gel as well as fruity body balms and a minty foot rub, will be available for purchase in Treasure Ketch, the ships' gift shop, from $8.50.

YEAH This is great news, new beds just in time for our cruise!! We can sleep well and smell good! Thanks for the info!

Sarah thanks for posting that info. We will no doubt be enjoying those changes. :thumbsup2

Okay guys. I am sitting here working on the navigators deck plans. My son (the computer graphic artist and programmer, that I paid for :rotfl: ) came in to be nosey. I asked some advice and he informed me there was a news break. Let me see if I can quote him "You people spent thousands of dollars so Disney is going to slip the Navigator under your door every night for free" He just does not get it. :confused3

I am plugging along with this and little does he know he will be helping me tomorrow night :teeth: It is still moms rule, I do not care how old he is. :lmao:

Now down to business. I have the following rooms highlighted. Please let me know if I missed anyone.

2074, 2146, 2148, 2500, 2614, 2642, 5013, 6556, 6634, 6638, 7612

Just pm me with your room number. There are no names attached to the room just highlighted in lime green so you know where to find a fellow DISer.

Anyone staying at the Hyatt MCO Friday night? If so, we might want to join up and pool transportation to the port. $200+ for Disney transfers or town car just to get to the ship makes my cheapskate skin crawl (not so DH, but I'm still asking....)

That is great news!!! One of the reasons we are staying at the Radisson is the beds they have. We used to stay that the Hampton Inn. I was in a car accident in '93. I had a purple line from my shoulder to my hip from the seat belt and spent three years in physical therapy. (and it ended my Olympic cycling dream) Better beds more

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLYMV HOPE YOU HAVE A MAGICAL DAY  :Pinkbounc :yay:
Thank You Nani, You are up way too early. That is great news about the bedding, alot of the old stuff is at mouse surplus.

Sarah
Thanks for the info . Sounds like they will be making our cruise extra restfull!

Spotdude
I'm with you. Love planning and want to make sure everyone has a Magical trip, but sometimes feel they all think I am overkill. So that being said I am trying to tone it down a little. The funny thing is I know once on board they will be so thankfull for all of my planning. :thumbsup2
Something I learned last cruise is know matter how much we plan we still wont be able to do it all. I happen to think pre planning is half the fun. I actually use it like therapy. Gives me something very positive to focus on!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLYMV :bday:

Hope you have a wonderful day!

(It always makes me feel so happy to see posts by the 'new kids' ::yes:: )

Dee, having room #'s highlighted on the navigator would sure make it easy to play a game of DIS TAG. Any of you guys read about that?

Got my coupon for $2 off entrance to Chank. Park....yeah!

Well, off to face the scale....I've been struggling with this one pesky pound that just doesn't want to be 'released'. May have something to do with french frys or slivers of chocolate cake :confused3

Happy Birthday flymv as well.

I love the idea of the tag game and fish mail. Give me something to do while DH is relaxing.

Miatamel. we are staying at the Hyatt and have a bus picking us up at 10am.

The tag game is simply that you place something on a DISers door/fish without being caught. Then they have to try and put it on someone elses.

Fish mail, is where you leave notes or little surprises for the person on the fish clip whish is located to the right of your cabin door.
