Faireygod Mother, you can highlight us, too. We'll be in 6556 (the room with the awful stateroom report!!)
Also, I'm going to try and hunt down a DSL computer this week. Can someone point me in the direction of these Navigator's y'all keep talking about?
And has anyone else gone COMPLETELY overboard buying stuff for this trip. Lordy, I have. I think I've bought a new outfit for everyday--and they are all Mickey based which means I'm gonna have a new wardrobe of nothing but Mickey clothes and few places to wear them at home! And I still have a list of stuff I still want to get! I just got this shirt in yesterday from eBay--nothing but sequins, vintage, handmade in Hong Kong with a Mickey in a top hat on it--thought perfect for formal night and the Golden Mickeys. Now I'm feeling a little wishy-washy about it....
I've also made Mickey flip flops, Mickey t-shirt (just last night)with some "bling" all around it, matching outfits for all four, HUNDREDS of Home Depot chip magnets, pirate mickey magnet, minnie magnet...the list goes on and on.
Whatever will I do with my time after this trip is over??
Oh yeah, I've got German inlaws coming for weeks anytime now....I'll have to keep the obsession under control lest they think I'm nuts....

Well, we made it to 3000 posts!:cheer2:

Devin, maybe we can hear that story over a :drinking1 one night.

Dee, I know someone who could give you 'mean' lessons ;)

Kris, just post or PM me with your wrist band requairements.

Miatamel, I just sent you an e-mail with the Navigators from the first double-dip (forwarded the one Spotdude sent me). I've done NO new clothes shopping...hoping to loose another inch or two around the middle first. Oh, I do have a new swimsuit cover-up that TiggersPal ordered for me a while back.

I hope Poohjen stops by and visits us and tells us all about her double dip!

OK, time to hit the shower....have a great day and hope to see some of you in chat tonight.

ibouncetoo Thanks, I saw the dolphin pics -- I really can't wait! Did you ever get the 10% off photos coupon from dolphin discovery for booking when we did? Also there is a coupon available off entry to Chankanaab park at http://www.cozumelparks.com/.

We would also like to order the bracelets (Love the wording!!!) 1 adult and 2 child :)

and ... Happy Tuesday everyone! :wave2:

When you have 4 kids you live in a constant state of confusion. We had to take 2 cars today to get the kids to school because my DS13 decided he would play the tuba in band. Couldn't fit all the kids, books, and other stuff in my car so my DW had to haul the Tuba. What is wrong with a picalo?

Dee (alias: FaireyGod Mother), this is where I am really confused. What navigator are you talking about highliting the rooms on? Like "Miatamel" how do I find it. Or is it something you are doing to quench your complusive planning disorder and going to hand out at a later day? I am also have a complusive planning disorder which is severly complicated from not having enough time in the day to do everything. As a result I am you basic crazy person. Basically harmless but definately marching to my own tune (with a Tuba playing along).

Also, Dee... you really made my day by letting me know that you haven't seen POC 1 or 2. Thought I was the only Disney fan alive who hadn't seen 2. Was starting to question my loyalty. I think having watched Lion King and Little Mermaid 273 times when my kids where little is penance enough for any Disney mishap for awhile. It took my almost 4 years to get rid of "Kiss the Girl" from playing in my head everyday. You know had embarrising it is to be in a business meeting and blurt out "Ariel, her name is Ariel" or "dere you see her".

Everyone have a great day.
David

I haven't seen POC1 or 2 either. DH and the kids have seen both, and we even own the dvd of the first, but I just haven't managed to sit down and watch it. I'm too busy working on my DCL notebook trying to keep up with Spot Dude!!!!!!!

Now that Dee has confessed and no one has voted her off the island, I thought I'd come out as well. ;)

Jackie...be nice to Peg! (Ok, I know you're not talking about Peg...but, I think I do know who you're talking about...) Oh, and when you have a chance, could you email me a copy of the douple dip navigators, too?? Thank you, oh guru of all things!

Dee...highlight us, baby...#2614, in steerage class...

Melanie...I want to see the sequined Mickey in a top hat!!

Since we're standing up and making admissions...I saw POC only on dvd and won't see POC2 until it's out on dvd, too. Lame, lame, lame, I know....
And, like David, I really think that watching Aladdin at least once EVERY day for several years should count for something!

It's Tuesday chat night...and, since I got ABSOLUTELY no sympathy a while back with my first ever bifocals, I'm guessing I won't get ANY sympathy for my first ever mammogram this morning, either, will I? So, I won't even mention it tonight... But, side note, the technician lady was wearing Crocs! Has 5 pairs!

Me too, Melanie, I want to see the "formal Mickey". It sounds adorable!

Pancakes, Carolyn? :rotfl: (Sorry, I know I am so mean to you.) (I'm not really mean, but I just can't help myself) (Wow, am I ever going to pay for this...) (Help, I've fallen in a hole and I can't get out)

Ok all you POC skallywags! I am calling you all out on pirate night at 11:30 to watch POC1 on the Dumbotron (I like that name better than "ariel view") Be there or walk the plank. (kidding...it's not on until 11:30, so I will understand if you have to sleep instead, but I will be there, even if I have to bring my pillow)

Hello everyone
I am hoping to chat tonight but it will depend on the weather. It is amazing that Ernesto is only a tropical strom and on TV they keep breaking in every 15 mins with updates and reports. Schools are already closed tomarrow and we are expecting to have a ton of rain.Anyway
Carolyn I am sendins you a :grouphug: My fisrt mamo was very painfull. I have had a few and they never seem to get easier.
Melanie
I also would love to see you Mickey sequine top is sounds fabulous!!
I have only bought extra stuff for Angelina but I tend to have a shopping obbession when it comes to her. When we cruised last Nov I bought us all a bunch of new things and since we never go anywhere they were only used on the cruise. I only thing I am worried about is that looking back at pictures I will confuse the cruises because I will be wearing the same outfits on both. :teeth: I really need a new bathing suit but I HATE buying bathing suits and I think I have waited to long.

Okay, here's the link to the eBay vintage sequined top thing. It is very pretty, but I am just so paranoid about my less-than-toned arms. I might relist it. It really would be cool for the Golden Mickeys, though.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...20016943092&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1

make sure you copy and paste the whole thing. I'd just do a picture but I don't even know how to make the smilies go here, much less a picture.

I'm still lacking a pirate outfit--everyone else in my bunch has something. I want to go the rhinestone pirate route because I would wear that again, but we'll see. I just went and bought stuff to make yet another t-shirt with the Mickey ears and rhinestones. I have really lost my mind with this cruise business this year....that's what I get--I've either been pregnant or breastfeeding for five straight years (still am nursing) so haven't bought any kind of clothes in that numbers of years and have made up for it in just the last 3 months! Now I'm wanting a Bedazzler! How goofy is that??? I'm loving all the bling in fashion right now!!

miatamel: I love the top!!! Don't chickent out -- it would be PERFECT for the cruise!!! :)

First off, I can't believe I was post #3000 and didn't realize it at the time!

Alisbarc: Tuba is so COOL!!! My boys play baritone but oldest played tuba during marching season. You think that a tuba is big? Try fitting a sousaphone into a vehicle!

Miatamel: That vintage Mickey shirt is AWESOME. Don't chicken out you'll look marvelous in it.

Ok, I have to get back to painting younger sons bedroom. Now that "kiss the girl" is stuck in my head I may just have to turn on the radio while I work!

:tinker:

Melanie, wear that top!

David, we will have a DIS Navigator to pass out at the DIS meet (Promonade lounge 3pm). It will have a list of any DIS meets/activities, the 'drinks' list, and names and room #'s of those who choose to share that info. I'll include mine as I'll want people to be able to contact me about the Thu lunch for example.

Pandamon, where on the web-site is that coupon for Chank.

Carolyn, I'll e-mail you the double dip navigators when I get home (courtesy of Spotdude).

Kiss The Girl and I Wanna Be Like You (from Jungle Book) are OFTEN songs I hum here at work ::yes:: I always have a sound-track running in my head and it often slips out of my mouth too.

pandamon and shelly--y'all are sweet, but trust me, you haven't seen my arms!! It's payback for all those car trips to Florida growing up where I laid in my mom's lap and played with her "flab" hanging down while she was driving!!

Well, ladies, I just tried sequined Mickey on and it's a no-go. It just didn't do me any favors--I'm way to busty (not to mention belly-y!!). So I'm gonna relist it. Maybe I won't be stuck with it as a reminder of how FAT I am!

Okay, now that I'm depressed I think I'll go take a BRISK walk!

Or maybe just a nap.......

THE BOOK [/B] until they need it than all I hear is do you still have that Disney Book?

I have a Disney Pentaflex binder... does that count? Well, that and many files in a folder on my computer desktop... :teeth:
BTW... everyone knows I do NOT loan out my Passporter :rolleyes1

I found the pirate style shirt at Kohls yesterday (it was mentioned by someone a few pages back). It was in the young men's clearance section for a good price too. Reminded me of the OP (Ocean Pacific) shirts that guys wore around the beach several years ago (think Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High). It is a little too transparent, so I'll likely wear a ribbed tank top underneath. Now I just have to find some fabric to use as a sash, and maybe some pirate style costume jewelry to make my costume complete. Then I have to find something to use as a vest for DH's costume. He has a skull t-shirt (the beatings will continue until morale improves) that he wants to "dress up" a little.

BTW... oldest DS got all the same classes as one of the other boys in our cruise group. This means they will both be able to work together on their school work during our cruise. Plus, there is this cool new website schoolloop.com that parents can use to keep track of their child's progress and assignments, as well as utilize to contact their teachers. I love it!

I booked our Stingray Adventure for Sunday at 12:00. I figured, we may as well start the cruise off with a bang! That is the only excursion we have so come the end of the week we can just relax and whine about going home.

:tinker:

We'll be there with you..............

miatamel: Love the pirate mickey too! Don't worry I won't bid -- I'm pooh sized :).

ibouncetoo: You just made my day -- I thought I was the only one who missed it. I looked ALL over the website and couldn't find it. When I asked where it was I was directed to the top of the website under the banner. It says: Entrance Disount Coupons and has drop down boxes for date, adults and kids. I must have seen it a hundred times but for some reason it never registered! :)
