Tinkfairy - We turned in a photo mat at Guest Services the first day of our cruise (others have turned in pillow cases). They delivered it to our cabin on our last day at sea with all the characters' signatures on it. It was great to not have to tote something with us each day in hopes of tracking down signatures.

Thanks for input I will mark down in my to do cruise book. My little one is 3 now will be 4 at time of trip. She loves Tinkerbell. my husband is WVMJS. would love to find tink stuff,but not much I saw on cruise last time. Dose anyone know about Palo's and is it really good as they say?

Dose anyone know about Palo's and is it really good as they say?

BRUNCH! Yummmmmmmmy! Haven't done dinner there...yet. Palo is deeevine. And the chocolate souffle, OMG I'll be up at the crack of dawn at the 90 day mark to book Palo for Monday brunch (the day I'm celebrating my birthday). If you don't or can't book a dinner there, I've heard you can go up to the bar at Palo for an beverage and dessert.

Hey Sarah!!! Congrats on your new computer, and I'm sorry I missed the chat with you and Jackie earlier, I was meeting my "new" house cleaner. Now that I'm working too much, I cannot possibly keep it all together, so something had to give. I refuse to spend my precious weekend time cleaning (guess what I did after Jackie and I got back from the movie)...yes clean. But only so it won't be horrible when she starts. crazy: ) I know.

I also noticed the Tahoe photos, another of my favorite places on this earth. I can't WAIT to meet you...

Actually I am really excited about meeting all of you! If only I could remember your "real" names in addition to your DIS names...

At least I have 9 months to figure it all out! I am really excited to meet all the kids as well. Some of my favorite people are kids! Even though I don't have any of my own, I am told I'm and that's from my little friend who turned 13 last Sept!

I do love to play! Jackie and I had a lovely afternoon and while we were eating our lunch we did talk about you, (mostly me trying to keep everyone straight)... her telling me stories of your last cruise.

Oh, Pat, I almost forgot one of my DH's request is we take an Alaskan cruise. I also want to visit Ireland... so many places so little time!

I now have to go view my "budget" Jackie made up, in addition to the other charts... can anyone else say OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE?

Peg, I am laughing as I read this...we were at the Four Seasons May 1-8 for our 25th wedding anniversary - when were you there???

And I loved Tahoe, too - breathtaking mountains and lakes......

Putting off Alaska until 2008 if we do the Euro Repo.....
And Ireland is booked for 2007.....

pat my computer has a picture card reader. My brother said my old one works fine as long it is pluged in but it stills turn off. i been playing on my new laptop i was playing around with few pictures

I can tell you that we, too, had great success with turning in white pillow cases sealed in a gallon zip lock baggies with new sharpie pens....all different colors! When we cruising our last night, they were delivered to our stateroom with all of the character's signatures and they are a souvenier of a lifetime!

....turn the baggie into Guest Services when you board sometime the first day or evening. I did also include a cute note to the characters from my children asking them if they would please sign! I wrote our stateroom number on the outside in big numbers so it would surely get back to us!

.....there are reports that people were turned down for this "perk" and/or they never got their pillowcases back.

sorry i have been gone for awhile but i have been working overtime to pay for this cruise and my DL trip in may (this week i have worked 70 hours!) and the way things look i will be getting close to that this upcoming week too! spending $$$$!!

We were in Tahoe Memorial Day weekend! DH's birthday is 5/27... it was wonderful!

Wish I could get something "set" for our other trips... just a matter of time I guess. Have a great day all!

Wow!...... just now coming to realize that we may never really go to Cozumel....eventhough we don't sail until November! Seems from reading that RCCl and Carnival are getting to go (have invested major $$$$$ in that port/docks) and the one to two times every few weeks that DCL docks there is not giving us a red carpet welcome. Apparently (so I read) that there aren't enough tender boats to go around?

....interesting......just wish DCL would make up their minds and let people know.

Thanks for input on Palo. I will do my best to get in to Palo's this time sounds like a treat not to miss. wvmjs is my DH user name. It stands for West Virginia Mary Jacob Sidney. state we live in 2 grandkids and our daughter who will be on this trip of course. I would love to be in on 3 bracelets also can someone give imformation on how and when to get them? Our little girl will love to meet some new friends on this trip and so will my DH and I. My DH is a little upset at the moment with me. I have him on weight watchers diet. Last DC trip he lived on deck 9. So he sent me to get the diet for him and last week I got the PIG sticker for losing NO weight and he ate 2 hotdogs with chilli and blew his 20 out 24 points for the day. should I scream??? work calls keep in touch

Tinkfairy, I'll be organizing the bracelets, but we won't be doing it till the 75 day mark. They only take about 10 days to fill the order and I'll leave plenty of time to send them off to people. But we won't need to do it before the 'pay up date' for the cruise. They should only cost about $2 each. I am starting a list of ideas for what to put on them.....we have 25 characters and spaces to work with. All suggestions are welcome, we just can't use the word Disney (though I think they'll let us get away with Dizney).

Also, we're thinking about meeting for lunch on one of the sea days (I like Thursday) at which ever sit down restaurant serves lunch that day....to celebrate all the birthdays/anniversaries of the group.....maybe even try and order a special cake. I'll be researching that possiblity too.

Tell your DH we have a Double dip weight loss support thread over on the WISH board. I'll come back and post a link.....we all need all the support we can get (I know I'm having a bit of trouble getting started)!

Yes, "they" (the bracelet companies) will let you print "Dizney" on them....our group last Nov did this very thing and although we had to do the tweeks on spelling, they turned out great!
