And I think it's a fine idea.... I don't understand how you're going to do it, or even exactly what you're going to do w/ these names. But I'm game for anything! So I need to PM you now, right?

Can you re-repeat (many times) cruisers help me out with something? The trouble with reading these boards is you have SO much time to get worried and upset and obsessed about SO many things!! Anyway, just read someone's question about an almost PTed 3 yr old going into the club and Lisa's--a co moderator--reply about it is fine as long as they can handle EVERYTHING by themselves in the potty as CMs don't go in there at all.
REALLY???!! This strikes me as ODD. (I know they have to be careful about abuse charges, etc but they manage in Flounders!) Anyway, my DD2 has been potty trained since 16 months and was PTed when we went on our first cruise in Nov. but I knew there was NO WAY she could be anywhere but Flounders (she turned 2 on the cruise). She HATED Flounders, by the way. Got paged every time we tried it. (She's a breast baby and very attached to mommy). So I was really looking forward to her being able to go to the Club with her sister and Hottie Husband and I perhaps getting some wonderful alone time--something we get nothing of here. (Girls sleep with us, etc etc). But I don't know about her prancing to the potty all by herself (in a strange place) when the urge strikes, getting her clothes off all alone, hopping up on a "big" potty, wiping properly, and washing her hands. Do they REALLY expect 3 year olds to manage all that completely alone? That just sounds really farfetched to me. She turns 3 on the cruise and even tho she will have been trained for over a year by then I still don't think she could manage all that. I can understand not helping the 5-7s and even the 4s, but I don't know too many 3 year olds that could do ALL of it alone.
Anybody have any experience with this? It's really concerning me b
ecause we are doing this cruise just so we have time together AND apart, you know?
Also, Texas Aggie, I've been keeping up with that "hot" thread. Wow. That's a pretty insane new rule, I think. Don't understand that one at all.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It will be a great 'tool' for keeping track of who everyone is while chatting. (Please double space....old eyes) I'm slowly getting the real names matched up with DIS names....now throwing in the IM name is frying my brain.

I know I just saw a post somewhere that mentioned they have 'little' potties...like 8-10inches off the floor.....I think it was a post by lbgraves, you might want to do a search. Sorry, I can't help more....no kids, so I only know what I run across on the DIS.

You guys are making it very hard to keep up!!!! Whew!

I just read the past 5 pages or so, so I am going to try to answer all the questions I seen for me. First, Kim... she is my little elf. She is my 'make it happen' person. Ask Pat. She can verify! And, dairyou - I think it was you that was asking about the prices... sorry if it wasn't. Pat posted the price Kim has for 2 adults a couple pages ago. As for the family suite (Cat 4), I have found it to be cheaper for some to book 2 rooms instead. Besides, you get almost double the space compared to the Cat 4!!! Go figure!! There is a whole clan of us that are booked together with Kim that have cruised together before. Guess you can say we are more like family now. There was also someone that said they were going to the EE preview. Me and hubby are going.... last one there's a rotten egg!!!

We'll be at BWV from 22-27 and then AKL from 27-30. I'm planning to go to AK on Saturday morning to get in a couple (hopefully) rides on EE! I'm really excited about it! DH and DD are taking that day 'off' and just hanging at the resort, so I get to go solo. Being near the end of the trip for us, I'm sure I'll appreciate the time away!

Have a great time. DH is the only one brave enough to go...then he'll convince DS who is 12 to go. DS - 14 and I are chickens

Hope we'll get one sunny day in for waterparks

Deb, we have two DS's who will be 11 & 14 at time of sailing. It seems to me there was someone else with boys our ages -- probably 10 pages back.

OH MY Goodness!? What did I do wrong? just kidding.....I think it's more like what I have I not done right? I have been PM'ed and emailed and still don't quite know what to do with myself!

What I can do is PM with you with my "personal info".....but be careful with whom you share it with.....you never know who out there may be an axe murderer as a side job.

I can tell you in all honesty, that at my previous DIS cruise meet thread (and granted, I was the OP!), I never devulged my true name or our kids' names in fear of Freddy Krugger.

I think just sharing your first name for the list is fine, as I believe the point of the list is for us to have it handy while we are chatting on AIM.....so we can match IM names to the people from here (many of whom already post their first name). And really, we just need to match AIM name to DIS name. Don't see any need to share family member names until we meet on the ship.
